Rude staff; wrong environment for a nasty attitude! I would not recommend to anyone looking for actual care . Youre better off being seen by a zookeeper

Dr. Sawyer is awesome! He is highly regarded in his field and well respected, and treats his patients with kindness and respect. The staff who assists at Holy Family is great as well. I am giving 5 stars for that reason, however his office staff is unprofessional and extremely rude. I was so unsettled by her, or as she identifies herself as the Office Manager that I cancelled my procedure. She is the rudest person on the planet. My doctor rescheduled the appointment for me, and told me that she too had issues with her.

Dr Richard Sawyer has been gastroenterologist for over 15 years. He is knowledgeable, kind, professional and efficient.My family had a history of colon cancer so I have a colonoscopy every 3 years. Dr Sawyer and staff make a rather unpleasant procedure as pleasant ad possible! I appreciate them all!!!

To preface this, I schedule an appointment and ask for the soonest they have, which happened to be a month out which was just fine with me. However, my condition was worsening so I called halfway through the month to see if they had anything sooner, and they offered meeting with a nurse practitioner sooner, to which I politely declined and stated that I would rather meet with a doctor.Upon arrival office staff extremely rude.Brought into meeting room with nurse practitioner, who was also very rude and VERY unknowledgeable which left me pretty uneasy since this should be her specialty working in a gastroenterologist office.Appointment concluded with her writing me a prescription then telling me to come back in a week without explaining how to use it or what it is, only to find out that it is an over the counter medicine I could’ve just bought on my own.I may need a procedure in the future to which she told me that they do no surgery there...I would like to note that I never ONCE saw the actual doctor when I came to this office, only the unknowledgeable nurse when the whole reason I waited for my month out appointment was to see the DOCTOR not just a nurse!When I got changed and went out to make my follow up appointment I could audibly hear the rude desk worker and the nurse talking and laughing at me in the back room where she told her sensitive information about what happened during the appointment.Needless to say I will not be coming back to this office and I do not recommend. This place is just a ploy to take your insurance money.

I HAD A 4PM APPOINTMENT WITH THIS POS AND HIM AND THE OFFICE STAFF WERE ALL GONE AT 4:03. MY HUSBAND WORKS A 9-5 IN BOSTON AND I AM AN RN. I CALLED HIS SERVICE AND THEY KINDLY TOLD ME HE LEFT FOR VACATION TODAY. OH AND THE OFFICE STAFF WAS RUDE ON TOP OF IT. NEEDLESS TO SAY THE NEXT GI APPOINTMENT I MAKE FOR MY HUSBAND WILL NOT BE WITH THIS ASS!
