NHC has been a god sent for my mother and son.So many wonderful staff .I would recommend This NHC to anyone who has a loved one in need of long term ..care.

This place is responsible for the suffering of my grandmother before she passed, and potentially the reason she passed prematurely.

My sister was admitted to NHC Laurens for nursing and therapy care following a stroke. The nursing and therapy staff provided her with excellent care and were very attentive to her needs. She was originally scheduled to be there for 20 days. However, she was able to progress and discharge home in only two weeks. The physical therapist was able to come to her house and make suggestions on how to make her home more safe before she discharged home. She has done really well since coming home and I would highly recommend NHC Laurens.

After major back surgery I could not have ask for better care than I received at NHC Laurens. The staff were very caring and timely. I loved being able to use my computer in my room that kept me up to date with my family and friends.

My dad was a patient at NHC Laurens following knee surgery. He received therapy and was able to come home within a month. The staff is great from housekeeping up to administration. Highly recommend NHC Laurens.

This facility gets a 0. Do NOT send your family member to this incompetent facility. My husband has a spinal cord injury and took him in for rehab. He barely got rehab at all and when I realized he needed an LTAC facility I changed his insurance that STILL paid for the care at NHC Laurens. But instead of waiting the day the insurance company needed to process the information they DISCHARGED my husband on 2 hour notice and said they would have him transported home by CAB OR POLICE. I told them if they transported him by any method other than ambulance they would be slapped with a lawsuit. They literally had him dumped in my driveway PARALYZED and in need of ACUTE CARE with 2 gallon size bags of medication and his clothes. He weighs over 200 lbs and they sent NO transfer boards or any method of helping me transfer him. I had to call 911 to help me transfer him from a wheelchair that belonged to him to the couch. This facility is filled with incompetent administration. The Social Workers DO NOT know how to do their jobs and this facility needs to be shut down IMMEDIATELY!!

I would like to thank NHC Laurens for the great care of my Grandmother during her stay at NHC Laurens. I was a little scared with never having someone in a nursing facility, however the Admission department helped me through the process and made my Grandmother and myself feel good about our choice. Steafanie Griffin was there to help us through day to day and getting her ready to transfer home safely. The Nursing and Therp. department were wonderful. I would never think of any of my family members going anywhere else. Thank you NHC for taking such good care of my Grandmother and our family!
