Dr. Selznick is the best!! I have had him work on my teeth in two of his locations, and never had anything but the best care and outcomes. Hes personable, funny and leaves you with confidence that he will take care of you.He has pulled teeth for me... fixed another doctors mistakes in my mouth and I have been completely asleep and completely awake for his procedures. He is the best and until he retires I will not go to anyone else.

Dr. Sezlnick is the best oral surgeon Ive been to. I do not let anybody else pull my teeth except him. No pain whatsoever, I dont even feel it when they put me to sleep to have my abstractions. I love Dr. J and I refer all my family members to him as well.

My brother was just in there today not only did they left him with open wounds they refused to properly close because they mest up the surgery. They tried to have him sign papers so we wont sue .Well guess what were suing because of medical malpractice you left him walk out bleeding .

Dr Selznick is terrific I have had a total removal and of my left mandible and I also had extensive reconstruction he knew what surgery had been done he was capable of doing my extractions and a removal of some kind of bone growth in the middle of my upper palate been to about four dentist and and none had ever made me feel so confident done at start of virus I was quite leary everything done according to sterile technique and cherry on top hes a nice guy!

This review is completely overdue. Dr Selznick changed my life. A long time ago I was assaulted and hit over 20 times with brass knuckles .My teeth were knocked out along with the bones in my gums shattered. Dr Selznick took bone grafts from my jaw and was able to replace the bone in my gums and give me the most perfect veneer implants that gets me compliments till this day. I cant even explain the difference Dr Selznick made in my life. He is straight to the point and gets the job done. This review should have been done 10 years ago and I still think about how great of a surgeon he is till this day.

Id give this doc zero stars if I could. Hes kind of creepy. He hit on his young assistant in front of a room full of patients. I could tell she felt uncomfortable, and I dont blame her. Anytime the boss hits on you at work, you feel as if your job is at stake. Not professional of the doctor, at ALL. Look outside of work, Selznick. Im sure there are a ton of women whod be impressed by your superficial charms and the car with the big engine under the hood.He also told my son I was out of line inquiring about the anesthesia and whether it would affect him negatively, and whether its safe. Im not overly protective, but I ask questions like that about my son, because he wouldnt think to ask them.When Selznick was alone with my son, he told him, in so many words, that it wasnt appropriate behavior on my part. I reported him for that to the local organization that oversees dentists.Id go to Dr. Hshieh at Smile Haven every time, rather than Selznick.

I had 5 teeth including four wisdom two of which were completely impacted extracted at the same time I woke up from twilight and I didnt even know I had had the procedure yet. Recovery went extremely well. This Dr. Is honest he is very professional and hes very good at what he does. I highly recommend him.

I have had the pleasure of being assisted by Nevada Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery twice in a year and a half. The office staff are very pleasant and were attentive during my visit. And then to my daughter as well, during her visit in August of 2017. I love that the back office dental rooms, they are very well kept and inviting and the wait time is never long. My visit was short and simple, a wisdom tooth had been pulled by another dentist and a piece was left deep in the gum line. That dentist referred me to Dr. Selznick, who recommended that it not be removed and that it would possibly do more harm than good if removed. I followed his advice and havent had any problems. My daughter unfortunately, had a more severe problem. She had sustained several facial fractures in an unfortunate situation and we were referred again to Nevada Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery offices. We saw Dr. Selznick and he spoke to us about his recommendations on fixing the problem. I agreed with his advice, technique and the procedures taken. I trust his opinions and respect his honesty. He and his staff are wonderful in general and go above and beyond for their patients. I wish all care providers had the same initiative towards all patients. If you are looking for an EXCELLENT oral surgery, Dr. Jay Selznick is the one to see!! Hes the BEST if you ask me. He will bring a smile to your face knowing that you are in good hands!! I have Medicaid. There are only 2 oral surgeons in the valley that accept Amerigroup. This doctor, and the UNLV school of dental medicine. I was not going there. Although this office is super busy, and you may have to schedule your appointment months out, its so worth it. The doctor and his technicians are so nice and efficient. The whole process of having my wisdom teeth removed was straightforward. His front office employees got me back in quickly when my mouth was slow to heal to help ease my anxiety and pain. Highly recommend.

Dr S is the best oral surgeon Ive ever been to. Pulled my tooth no pain. He has a professional, knowledge staff and a unique, reassuring chairside manner. Feel confident in going to him.

I had 2 wisdom teeth removed this past saturday. Not one day was I in any significant pain the best dentist I have ever had awesome to talk to fast and painless.

I never in my life got disrespected and talk down to as I did from dr. Jay Selznick. He is dishonest self righteous and would rather be right than be president. Hey call me he is an Orthodox Jewish doctor and if his spirituality is a representation of the path that hes following I would want nothing of it. He told me after I had two teeth extracted that from day 3 to 5 was was going to be the worst pain and from day five to seven could be just as bad. I am severely deconditioned because I have been bedridden most of the last 9 years. I need a hip replacement a shoulder replacement surgery on both sides of my neck and have COPD. Im close to losing to my boxer dog from from cancer and lost my Mom 2 years ago so I am by myself. On two conversations I had with dr. zelnick telling me its normal to still be in extreme pain the worst between day 3 and 5 and could easily continue from day 5 through 7. He he told me Friday night May 18th to take my own medication two tablets Witcher 10 milligram of Oxycodone every 4 hours which I did. When I met him Monday morning and I told him my pain was still real bad he said this is normal so continue to take my medication if I needed for pain which I continue to take notes on how I took it but Monday night May 21st 2 Wednesday morning May 23rd. When I spoke to in the guy name HImie on Tuesday I asked if i should continue his instructions as far as the pain medication which I did. He then call me Wednesday morning and said the most degrading things to me for 10 minutes and will not let me get a word in edgewise. If he didnt want me to continue taking the medication while I was in extreme pain he should have stated so Monday morning when he gave me a prescription to cover the last two and a half days and again Monday night when the pain was getting worse and I didnt understand why. But instead Im doing this I just trust in what he said that it was not abnormal for me to be in this much pain and continue to take the medication. Through all my other issues with my hip and my shoulder needs to get replaced meaning surgery on both sides of my neck I have managed to get by with a minimum amount of medication either 12 hours apart one tablet in the last 8 months at the pain center with 8 hours apart one tablet. Im also proud to say but I have been in recovery and March 26th I celebrated 23 years clean. There is a pamphlet called and Times of illness where you have to take medication which I have been sponsored through this and I have more medication and I was supposed to. This doctor degraded my recovery and acted like a dr. Jekyll and d people next to me one speaker where he repeated this three to five day and this 5 to 7 Day time frame to me. Again he then contradicted and said in 10 years he never had a patient that needed to take the medication more than a couple days and that I was being an active addict in this situation which is completely the opposite what he shared with me Friday night Monday morning and Wednesday morning besides HImie from his office on Tuesday telling me to continue his instructions on this medication. Hes a disgrace spiritual course that I am on and I promise whatwhat he with my blood pressure and my heart rate. He should answer to somebody. Nobody should have this much power in the medical profession.. II think mentioned I have two witnesses when I had it on speaker phone that also overheard his instructions to me. I know in his mind hes recovering addicts who who has been Clean for 26 years and 32 years would be to other people that he would talk down to but I have found the people in the program that are truly working on themselves to the 12 steps of recovery I would take over anything he has to offer. This story of what happened to me needs to be heard by the public. I hope somebody on this email got the heart behind what was written so no one else can be taken advantage of as I was.
