Dr. Michaels is definitely a Great Provider! She was very detailed in her communication and she explained everything clearly. She communicated all my options, the process. I went to her as a new patient and I definitely recommend her. And I am definitely going back to this clinic. Everything was well organized and the operations of the clinic flowed well. All the staff were very pleasant as well, from the front office, to the back office. In addition, I love the rooms there. They were quite big and provides more than enough space to patients. They also had an interactive screen right next to the examination table that allowed you to select different articles and exact details of female conditions, treatments, options, and it also gave interactive diagrams of the female body. It showed the process of a Pap Smear, minor procedures, etc..... This office and provider are definitely great!

I love Dr Michaels she gives you the uncut version of what’s going on. No guessing or beating around the bush. I’ve known her for over 10yrs and wouldn’t change for nothing.

This was my second visit to this office and it was exceptional. They offered me an earlier appointment then what I had originally been scheduled. I also did not have to wait long in the waiting room. Dr. Michaels gently ensured I was completely numb before moving forward with my procedure and when we realized I was not, she was quick to administer more lidocaine. The physician assistant was kind and caring. All in all, I would definitely recommend this office to those looking for a good OB-GYN

Giving Dr.Michales a 5 stars. Some minor things that I would like to have had better, but not necessarily a concern from my visit : Front desk had a change of personnel at the window, so I technically paid $100 more than what I should have originally and was misinformed on what it was for (which I felt I knew but didn’t want to seem rude for over questioning) other than that, I would’ve really liked maybe a little less rushed feeling with actual doctor towards end. Would be super nice to be asked if I had any questions as it was my first visit. Overall, Super excited to see how the rest of my time goes there, Dr.Michaels had awesome reviews which is why I chose her.

She was very attentive and thorough. I did have to wait a little long to see her but it’s understandable. Everyone that works at this location with Dr.Michaels is just as amazing.

My wait was kinda long however the doctor was very nice and engaged in what I have been going through and I felt comfortable.

Ive been with them for 6 yrs now (3rd pregnancy) since my 1st pregnancy. Dr. Michaels is very knowledgable and experienced. Her nurse, Shirley, is very warm, kind, and compassionate. The clinic is always very clean and organized. Front desk people from the start till now are always warm and patient. I feel safe and at home here. We chose to be loyal here though this clinic is really far from us (we live in mountains edge area) because of these. God bless this clinic and the whole team.

After years of suffering with painful menstruation and anemia and doctors that did not take me seriously, I finally found Dr. Michaels who listened to me and recognized that I had a real & valid issue. Within 6 months I had a much needed hysterectomy, a diagnosis of adenomyosis, and I am feeling so much better. I feel like I can finally start living life again and I am very grateful to Dr. Michaels, Shannon, and the rest of her awesome team!

My OBGYN retired so I researched online for a new physician and saw that Dr. Michaels had amazing reviews. I made an appointment and I’m glad to say that dr Michaels is a wonderful doctor and that both her medical and front office staff are very professional and caring.

Updated 01/28/2021I used to be a patient of Dr. Michaels and her staff was always friendly and attentive. However that changed as soon as I had to be referred to a high risk doctor. I was told at 13 weeks I would be referred. I called numerous times and was told they were going to refer me. I texted numerous times and was told it was faxed. I went to an appointment I had scheduled at 15 weeks and the Dr. Anna Navarro told me they had never referred me. Why did I call/text numerous times and the staff said I was referred?!? Once I was referred on 12/28/2020, I was then told it would take 7-10 business days. I continued to wait patiently. I did an early glucose test which came out super high and they called me to give me my results. Guess what!?! Now they were going to expedite my referral because I had two conditions that need attention. They knew at 8 weeks that I had a blood condition and they told me I had to wait until I was 13 weeks in case I miscarried. I trusted this doctor being a first time mom and reading all the great reviews. But, every time I asked a question she seemed to be in a rush. I got quick answers that I could of gotten from Google. I understand I’m not her only patient but to take that long to refer to my high risk doctor almost 6 weeks. If you are looking for a doctor that will listen to your concerns and questions without rushing you out the door this is not the place .

I love Dr. Michaels mannerism and I am so looking forward to beginning my healing process with her.

Dr. Michaels and her office staff are by far the most professional staff I have come into contact with. When I need answers right away they are always there to help me. Dr. Michaels makes me feel calm in any situation that has been thrown our way, she really cares about her patients and I respect her so much for hearing me out even when I feel like I am maybe giving to much information. I would have given higher but I had to wait almost 2 hours to see her. I made the appointment a month before. Also, her bedside manner needs a bit of work. She came off a bit rushed & uncaring. Maybe because there was such a back up in the office but still wanted to feel more valued and listened to.

I was very disappointed that Dr. Saovaros would no longer see me because I was now on medicare. She was my doctor and when I had called to make my yearly appointment, I was told she wasnt seeing medicare patients. Very disappointed. I was scheduled with an APRN who was nice but I did not feel comfortable with the change.

I wish I could give her 10 stars, I have been with Dr. Michaels for 17 years. I am grateful and truly blessed to continue my annual visits with her. I will never go to anyone else for my OBGYN needs. I’ve had two pregnancies and both were complicated. Dr. Michaels was there every step of the way. She has always been patient, kind, and explains all information. My son will be 17 years old in December and was born 5 weeks premature, Dr. Michaels did an amazing job with the delivery. My 2nd son is 14 and I had placenta previa and had to deliver by C-Section. Again, Dr. Michaels did an outstanding job through the delivery.All you mommy’s who are unsure what physician to chose, hands down Dr. Michaels has my vote. I look forward to my annual visits and our talks. Yes, the office has been busier since then, however I would rather wait for an excellent physician. Than to have an expedited visit with a doctor who doesn’t care.The office staff have always been good to me and kind. Even after all these years, the long time employees still remember me on my annual visits.

Dr. Michaels is the most professional outstanding Dr. Ive ever met. I would recommend her to any and everyone. She did an outstanding job of making me feel comfortable and assured about everything before going in and the about the after caremy hysterectomy.

I saw Dr. Michaels for an exam. Her bedside manner left much to be desired. She came off as rather rude and in a hurry. The examination was shall we say...rough, quick and unpleasant. I still had more questions when she was leaving the exam room, which she was in quite a hurry to do. I dont want an OB-GYN that makes me feel stupid for asking questions, or makes me feel like Im cutting into their time. I paid $150 out of pocket because Im in between insurance plans, waited 2.5 hours past my scheduled appointment, for a 10 minute visit that still left me with unanswered questions. I did not like her at all and I will not be going back.

The check in process is quick and efficient. Once I was in the exam room I had a very short wait until the doctor came in for the exam. The doctor took her time to listen and answer all of my questions and concerns. They also have this great service that they offer where you can text the office and get an immediate response to your questions, instead of having to wait for a return call. I have used it many times and the staff answering the text are always so prompt and super helpful.

Dr. Michaels has been my doctor since I was single and no kids---2 kids later 1 miscarriage and PhD later, she is still a great doctor for me...she is not as available as when I first started with her, but her practice has grown as she is a good doctor. She is kind and she listens to what I have to say...she is comcerned to do what is both best for you and fits your lifestyle and wishes for the future (I will be having a hysterectomy soon and I cannot think of anybody else that I woukd rather---since she and Dr. Gondi did both my c-sections).The only complaint I have is the calling in now and text message turn around time, but thats not enough for a real complaint as they more than make up for it in customer service).

I have been a patient of Dr. Michaels for several years. Luckily, I am healthy so I only have to have a yearly check up. Dr. Michaels is always professional and caring. Even better, she actually looks at me when she speaks with me, which is not always the case with physicians. She questions me to make certain I am up to date on necessary vaccines, tests and medications. I could not be more pleased with Dr. Michaels.

I loved how respectful the Dr was and listened to what I said. Didnt rush and was very informative and acted like she truly cared. you dont see that much in Vegas. I just have another comment. If you know shes running behind, it would be nice if we could get a text indicating so. I have to take time off of work and was there for almost 3 hours the other day. Absolutely love her though!!

I love my doctor, but i felt super rushed this last time that I went in , it was a bit of a mess with the check in the agreement that I had to sign out of the blue . I just felt overwhelmed. The reception area isn’t always the nicest , I get we have bad days but I mean come on . My insurance pays this place and so do I .... I’m just saying it would be nice to see people smile rather than upset . You almost feel like you did something wrong ? You already have the stress of pregnancy the new baby the results you get the money your paying . Other than that I like all the info I get back from my doctor about myself and the baby .

I am only sharing this experience because I feel like it could save a mother or baby. I am 14 weeks pregnant and had a bad experience here. I originally came to this office with the intention of staying. The nurse practitioner was kind even though she made the mistake of prescribing me the anti nausea medicine promethazine(not proven to be safe during pregnancy) when I had asked for doxylamine(proven to be safe during pregnancy) ...I was actually OK with this nonetheless because it was working. Now for the real issue here, Upon my first visit with doctor Michaels, she was in a super rush/hurry. The visit was about 3 minutes long but in my opinion it should have been longer. Based off an NT test, she told me I had a teratoma tumor growing on my left ovary the size of an orange and that I could either remove it which could cause miscarriage or leave it in until delivery day. Those were the words she used and of course it worried me! I was very sad to hear this and she didn’t explain ANYTHING AT ALL. I told her I wouldn’t want to do anything that could harm my baby. She then sent me on my way and scheduled me for a normal appointment for the NEXT MONTH, knowing I had sever abdominal pain and stool problems. I walked out of there feeling so uncared for. I was left scrambling in my mind and then I had a ton of questions. Not even three days later, I was emitted in the ER and the doctors found the teratoma but it is actually on my right side near the cervix pushing up on other organs. I immediately switched doctors. I switched to WHASN Summerlin and I couldn’t be happier. Dr Michaels was willing to let me and my unborn baby suffer! She didn’t care at all! Over at WHASN, they were even disappointed with Dr Michaels work. My new doctor immediately scheduled me for an appointment to perform exams and determine what the safest/best option is for me AND baby. My new doctor went into FULL detail on what I have, what my options are at the moment, and what they plan on doing. I was also listened to and I felt cared for. They also ordered more exams for my stomach issues and prescribed me a safe nausea medicine which I appreciated. Please do you and your baby a favor and switch over to WHASN Summerlin right away. Beautiful location and amazing staff. Stay away from this obgyn center and dr Michaels, especially if you have complications like I do. Much love and God bless. I am hoping being more than half way through my pregnancy another OBGYN will take me in after the experience I have had with this office. Not only have they messed up on my billing and gave me multiple reasons as to how there was an error on their end but for each appointment I am waiting for an hour after my appointment time to be seen for a three minute appointment just to be rushed out. It’s disappointing because having a baby should be happy and exciting and your doctor should be caring but they have ruined the experience so far for me.

First time being seen at this office by Dr Michaels. The waiting area was very clean, restrooms were clean, check-in clerk was friendly. Wait time was approximately 10 to 15 minutes, which was not to bad considering we were filling out new patient forms. Dr Michaels was friendly and explained everything, explained everything she was going to do during my procedure beforehand. Explained what and why blood-work/ultrasound were going to be done. Definitely put me at ease on my first visit.

Office is extremely slow. I wait for at least an hour every time I go in. Check out lady is snotty, rude and is constantly on her phone. The office NEVER answers the business phone, you constantly need to leave a message and they are not quick about calling back!!! I had an important test taken and they didn’t call me to let me know the results I had to call and text the office myself and then they waited till they were almost closed and text me back telling me I need to text back the following day because they were closing soon. Wouldn’t recommend going to this office. Dr. Michaels is wonderful, the check in lady is great and so is the nurse who weighs you, other than that she needs new staff. I’m sure you can find a good doctor with better staff.
