Recently I had to rush my 9 year old in due to a broken collarbone. My son was in so much pain that I could barely get him to walk inside. Lisa up front was so wonderful and helpful through this stressful process and Dr. Hansen was one of a kind. He was attentive to my concerns, professional, and kind. Edric was our nurse and he was so knowledgeable at answering any questions I had as well as friendly. James in X-ray was fast, efficient, and compassionate with my son. He made sure to move things to get a good angle and to keep things comfortable for my child too. All around a fantastic experience under the circumstances!

I am understanding of busy days at an urgent care, but what I will not abide by is the lack of communication and service at this facility. This afternoon, I brought my boyfriend’s 5-year-old son to this quick care because his ear was hurting so badly that he was crying hysterically on and off due to the pain. We arrived at 2:30, coming out of a car in which the A/C went out while we were driving, so it was hot. He showed a fever (which subsided after he was in the air conditioning for a few minutes). The front desk was very short and matter of fact; knowing I am not a legal guardian, I was well-aware of the extra measured that would need to be taken in order for them to proceed with treating my boyfriend’s son. Regardless, the staff was incredibly condescending when I was open about the situation and accommodating to all of the circumstances (I provided insurance info, verification info for both his mother and father, and always spoke to them with respect). We were placed in an exam room separate from the lobby due to the “fever,” which I understand regarding COVID precautions and the safety of others. However, we were in that room for over an hour before someone from front desk staff even called me to go over registration info all the while other patients were walking in and getting checked in no-problem. I would like to mention the woman Denise who works at this facility, as she was absolutely stellar in her etiquette and her professionalism. Thank you, Denise, for being the one individual who didn’t make our visit to the office uncomfortable. Moving on, the nurse Priscilla did not visit us until around 4:30, during which she took my boyfriend’s son’s vitals and whatnot. When she entered the room, she was incredibly condescending in her communication with me, in which I had to repeat the entire situation to regarding who I am in relation to her patient. She was completely unprofessional when she spoke to me, reminding me of the fact that I was in no legal right to bring my boyfriend’s son to receive medical care (again, I understand the legal circumstances, but I am not going to let this poor baby suffer for hours in pain; he needed help). I was incredibly displeased with how she was prying for information that was not necessary, including my age (I am an ADULT) and my relationship with my boyfriend and his son. It felt like I would have received more respect if I just said I was the babysitter. We left a little after 5:30, totaling 3 hours we had been there without anyone communicating to me what was going on regarding wait times and such. I understand individual patients having varying needs, but knowing how long this poor little one was going have to spend being in pain, antsy, and bored out of his mind in an exam room would have been helpful. Both his mother and his father were displeased when they heard how the entire scenario unfolded. Horrible experience.

Very bad service. Not recommend at all. First, they refused let us wait in the lobby, which we don’t know why and there are other patients who were able to warring in the lobby. The doctor came for five minutes, and told me to go to hospital, and when I told them I don’t want ambulance, their attitude changed all of sudden, the nurse shut the door and left. I can’t believe UMC has such this kind of service.

I had a great experience at the UMC Quick Care at Peccole Ranch. Jolena at the registration was great and check-in was a breeze.Dr. Hansen and the nursing staff, Virginia and Edric were very friendly and made me feel at ease throughout my visit. The entire process from check-in to discharge was very organized and efficient. I was 80 percent better with the treatment plan of this fine staff in less than 24 hours. James at X-Ray was also very professional. This quick care also follows solid COVID protocols to ensure patient safety with easy to read signage. Overall, the staff is very professional. I came in with the Flu and Bronchitis. I was seen by the nurse beforehand and the only examination performed by her was taking my vital signs. Afterwards I was seen by the Osteopathic Doctor entailing a simple meet and greet with absolutely no examination performed whatsoever. In contrast, having a father that was a medical doctor, at the bare minimum, he would at least look at my throat with a penlight and listen to my lungs with a stethoscope when I presented with a cough. Then I was given a prescription by the Physician Assistant for Tamiflu and cough medication with absolutely no antibiotics. Having a medical doctor for a father I was told as a child that Osteopathic Doctors are not respected by Medical Doctors and as a sad reality if one is not intelligent enough to be accepted to medical school it is much easier for one to get into osteopathic school. In conclusion, after completing the course of medication prescribed by the Osteopathic Doctor, I recovered from the flu but my cough never got better since I was never prescribed any antibiotics.

Don’t be fooled by the title of this facility. It is certainty not “quick” as it says. I am not a resident of Las Vegas but I needed medical advice for a bronchitis issue I’ve been dealing with for some time. When I walked in, I felt like I was in the movie Beetlejuice where you take a number. The waiting room was packed (this was at 9:30 am on a weekday). I was told to write my name on a sticker and sit down. People came in with appointments and the room kept getting more crowded. I finally asked the front desk if I missed my name being called after waiting 45 minutes. They didn’t even get to me yet she said. What? This was just for checking in! I got up and left. That was just BS.

Came in and prepared to wait patiently as there was a busy waiting room full of patients. The staff heard my daughter’s sniffling about her “hurt” and rushed us to the front of the line and back to see a doctor. The nurses, PA, radiologists and doctors did everything in their power to help both my hurt 2 yr old, and impatient 6yr old get through the ordeal. Luckily some quick treatment alleviated the pain, and my daughter was back to laughing and smiling in our way out the door. Thank you to everyone who stayed after hours to help us.

Waiting to be seen is expected but showing comfort and checking up on patients while they wait is preferred. After seeing the doctor i also had to wait an additional 40 minutes to be xrayed. Patients that arrived after me to be seen were xrayed before me and discharged. The doctor gave me my results poorly and told me a nurse would be in shortly to get me out because i had waited long enough. No i waited another 30 minutes!! Just for a splint!! I had to go in the hall stop a nurse to get a splint. The doctor told the nurse the Wrong information. No surprise there. So i had to wait again. Poor service, will never revisit.

How you can misdiagnose pinched nerve for kidney stones?Ok, everyone can make mistake (but not 3 times) but why telling us to go right away to ER when this could be dealt by regular family doctor or specialist and cost us thousands of $ less?We are thinking about getting lawyer and our ins already flaged this location. And the best I left for the end !I called them day after our last visit and asked for the manager.Manager said We dont have ability to check if child/adult has cold/flu. Both my parents, who are in their 70s, and have significant and chronic health issues, have been going to Peccole Ranch Primary Care for years. They were very satisfied, but a few years ago, their primary care doctor left town. His replacement is a very smart, well-informed, and effective doctor...when shes there. She often takes weeks off at a time. This would be no problem if my parents had no chronic health problems. My parents cant get in to see her in a timely manner. They often fail to fill prescription authorizations from the pharmacy in a timely manner. Since some of these meds are crucial to my parents day-to-day health, that means I sometimes have to take a day off in order to physically go to the office and browbeat people to do what they should be doing in the first place. The staff is surly, and you would be, too, if you constantly had to cover for an absentee doctor. In short, this is the worst doctors office in the world.

I was referred to this office by the office staff at my primary care physician who I could not get in to see until mid Dec. During my 2 1/2 hour visit to this office, I had to repeat my story 3 times to 3 different staff members which was not only emotionally draining and exhausting but which of course added to my feelings of anxiety. When I told them I havent slept in a month & can not get into my doctor for another month, they prescribed a sleep aid for a mere 5 days! They also prescribed an ant depressant that wouldnt take effect for 2-3 weeks. When I explained I wasnt depressed but traumtized, they refused to prescribe anything that would provide immediate relief. I found this office to show zero compassion for my well being. I left feeling worse than when I arrived which I didnt think was possible. If my situation doesnt warrant a prescription for an anti anxiety med I dont know what does. This was a truly awful experience with this office.

My 8 year old daughter was misdiagnosed here for the second time. You may wonder why Id go back again. Well, we just got back from vacation late last Saturday and my daughter starting having an ear ache last Friday. We couldnt get into to see her reg doc last Sunday, so we opted for Quick Care knowing it was probably swimmers ear. Im no doctor but it happens quite a bit when we are on vacation for 11 days and shes swimming every day. Despite the history the doc last Sunday told me it was middle ear and had nothing to do with swimming. So she gagged on awful antibiotics all week, and was in severe pain by this Friday, but her doc couldnt see her until yesterday , Sunday. Sure enough Swimmers ear. But due to the extent of it now, after waiting so long, her meds arent kicking in and she had to miss the first day of school. For a third grader, thats a huge disappointment. And she wanted perfect attendance this year :( Im so annoyed and when you call the number that was provided under another complaint, the answering service rep told me they only answer between 2 and 2:40 and she couldnt help me. Then why have an answering service? and call it a patient feedback line????? When I told the rep they surely dont want feedback she stated how they were busy making rounds in hospital. oh ok. Then why not designate a different full time employee if youre so busy making rounds and can only take calls for 40 minutes out of the day. I pay so much money monthly for insurance and the treatment you get is just absurd! Thats why I see a doctor now that doesnt take insurance. He doesnt have to play the games. And its the best care Ive ever received. Its so hard to find good health care nowadays despite paying a fortune. End rant.

Dr. Sepulveda is honestly the SCARIEST doctor Ive ever been seen by. He doesnt speak any words . I know I know , what does that even mean ? Let me try to explain . I went in to UMC on a Sunday bc of stomach pain going on for 8 days was seen by another doctor , female, and she was great. Ordered some lab work that I had to go get done on Tuesday . I went and had that done. On Wednesday I had extreme stomach pain to the point I could barely walk or talk. So I returned. They had me do a urine test and set aside in my room. When Dr. Sepulvida entered he made some unintelligible joke (I think because he was laughing) and then motioned to my stomach. I was not laughing , I was in tears. He then said he needed to leave to talk to the nurse ?? He makes some weird arms gestures to my husband and my husband is soooo confused. He returns 10 minutes later and hands me part 1 out of 2 of my lab work back and says normal, I dont know why youre sick . Says he will prescribe me a prescription in case MAYBE I have cdiff . Does not explain what that is. I ask him if I should continue the other antibiotic I am currently taking for a sinus infection he says maybe, maybe not and begins laughing . Never answers me, then I ask if they are going to test my urine which is still sitting there and he says no. then sends the nurse in who tells me to drink some tea for my stomach (seriously I cant even walk lady and you think some tea is going to help?) . Cdiff antibiotics are very intense on the body (apparently after speaking with my family doctor) and shouldnt be taken lightly . This doctor has horrendous reviews online and after speaking with a friend who was also seen by him and had the exact same experience with him not providing care in anyway I am appalled that he is still at UMC. Also Ive called twice now and left a message with front staff personnel for the other half of my results in case I DO have cdiff or any other kind of bacteria and I have not received a call back. Also they claimed they couldnt run my insurance and that my insurance was closed for the day(never had that happen before ever) so I now have two charges on my cc for about $120 that I have to go in and get itemized receipt for so my insurance can reimburse me, I dont have copays at urgent care facilities so them making me pay out of pocket was infuriating but I was in so much pain I just payed . Front desk was being lazy so now I have to fix their mistake. NEVER COMING BACK HERE. And still waiting on my labs . And left in pain.

Extreme caution: Dont go here, but if you do and get Dr Miguel Raul Sepulveda, turn around and run!I took my daughter there because she was having extreme coughing fits because she could not breathe. We got Dr Miguel Raul Sepulveda. What a piece of work he was. My daughter and I left thinking he must have been on drugs due to his flippant attitude when we were so obviously in need of an answer. He checked her breathing and looked down her throat and said it must be acid reflux. He prescribed Sucralfate which I later found out is used to cure ulcers. My daughter took the Sucralfate and wound up in the emergency room that night as she threw up an hour later after another coughing attack. The medicine cautions if that happens stop taking it immediately and go see a doctor. At the emergency room, the doctor took one look at her throat and said My God, her tonsils are red and inflamed! They checked for strep and did xrays to see if she did indeed have an ulcer. Final diagnosis: Tonsilitis and breathing treatment to clear her swollen broncial tubes. No ulcer. They also said Sucralfate is way too strong of a medicine to prescribe without a complete diagnosis.I went here once before for myself and got the diagnosis of GERD (acid reflux). At that time they prescribed me medicine that caused suicidal tendencies and told me I would have to take for the rest of my life. Needless to say I did not take it and handled this temporary episode of acid with honey and apple cider vinegar. I do not have GERD!I will never going here again! I think they only have one diagnosis: GERD and acid reflux. They must have stock in drug manufacturers for it.

Im writing this in the waiting room...ive been coming here since 1999...Thats over 17 years of loyalty. This is one of the only medical facilities to provide my migraine treatments. The staff is great but clearly need help as they are understaffed, overworked and judging how UMC runs things, are most certainly underpaid. In the corporates quest to increase profit, they are shortcoming those whom matter:THE PATIENTS. The minimun wait ive had here is 2 hours. There was about 6 of us in the waiting room so im assuming there must be HUNDREDS in the exam rooms to constantly have extensive wait times. Is there any reasonable explanation as to why no one has worked on this obvious issue?? Can we get them help and larger facilities because if tge people responsible actually, i dont know, kept up with the industry they work in, they would know the Urgent Cares are increasing in patients due to office visits decreasing. PLEASE DO SOMETHING

Ive been a patient here for years first with Dr. Christiansen as my primary and then Dr. Lim. Both doctors talked to me as a person, showed interest in my life, and concern for my health. I also like how Dr. Lim follows up on all tests with a call or personal notes.

Had no problems at all here. I did show up 5 minutes before they opened and I was 3rd in line. They were having an issue with my insurance card, but the front desk rep was very helpful in trying to figure it out. The dr was very nice as well. I was in a pinch and needed my rx filled because my dr is so booked she isnt even taking walk ins. The dr wrote me an rx with 1 refill to get me through until I can be seen. They were all very nice and helpful. If I need to go again, this will be my location I go to.

Prospective Patients Beware! So, it sounds like bait and switch tactics and getting patients to return and pay a co-pay with no access to site Clinical Managers and or Patient Advocacy at times, is the planned budget.I have insurance and Dr. Hansen with UMC - Piccole - seen me and ordered 5 different perscriptions to me on 3/3/2016 including Tamiflu coming in at cost to me of about $8 per pill - including a note from Dr. Hansen stating I can return to work today 3/5/2016.However, I feel the same or worse. I have contacted Piccole - UMC and spoke with Nica and never received a call back. I then return called and spoke with Kim requesting to be seen. I never received a call back from anyone at this time. Both employees stated that I must pay to be seen again.I then attempted to contact and called the alleged Patient Experience Team and ...take pride in addressing.. as referrenced by some owner responses contained here within the negative google reviews....But Patients beware! - this alleged ..pride.. regarding addressing your concerns stops on the weekends, as I was informed that UMC does not have a Patient Advocate and or Patient Access to speak with a site Clinical Manager on the weekends. Is this indicative of UMC overall services they provide?I must now dispute this providers service and transaction. In my opinion, I recommend seeking another service provider that ensures to provide substanitive services and without precevied bait and switch tactics including having real Patient Access to a Clinical Manager and or Patient Advocacy without ...bankers hours... as comparitively described by a UMC employee. This is the second time I have been to a UMC facility and had a bad experience and will not return for a 3rd. Pass the word!

Waited 2 hrs to check in. Then other people are allowed in front of people who already checked in. This place already has so many negative reviews, they should know by now their processes are not working and they need to change.

Awful front desk staff. Never fail to charge me a copay to see the Doctor, which I then have to claim back through the incompetent billing staff.

I came for an urgent matter and I was very upset only to have one of the nurses ask me judgmental questions and ask why I even came to urgent care. I felt like I wasnt welcome here and honestly wont come back or bring my kids here anymore.

Terrible wait times, even with full staff and minimal patients. Came early on a Thursday morning took 3 hours to be seen, and another 2 hours waiting for a nurse to come back with a prescription, after seeing doctor. Tried to leave and just get my prescription was told no. There is miscommunication amongst staff going on, and its resulting in very poor patient treatment . Overheard Dr. Bolland saying they have not been given a patient in over 35 minutes while people are waiting. Ridiculous

I just experienced a very pushy nurse who seemed stressed , Nothing quick about it . Tarying to talk to them seem like I was wasting my THEIR time . Just save yourself the Trouble and Dont go here Unless you have too ! Not friendly , I had to Call 3x time for results and nurses then argued about the fact that they called me, Never did - Horrible
