Used to be a great place. Has gone down. This place has become all about the money and trying to pump patients in and out as quick as possible. They seem to be very impatient and have no empathy whatsoever even the dentist came off that way.

I never give 1 star reviews because anyone can have an off day and one star reviews typically say more about the reviewer than the service provider, but...Staff had been impatient with my son on previous visits, but I ignored it, because I hate confrontation and we generally defer to medical “experts” and try to be understanding of time constraints/challenging situations. The last visit was too much and even my mild mannered husband said “never again.”My child had a poor reaction to his first experience with gas. He was upset and agitated. My husband held him and tried to calm him, but Dr and nurse were extremely inpatient and showed no empathy. They did not seem to have the ability to or interest in helping my 6 year old through a difficult thing. On the way out my son got a drink and was really thirsty —drinking like his life depended on it. The Dr sarcastically said “be careful you might drown.” The tone was definitely that the Dr was demeaning a 6 year old for struggling with a difficult tooth extraction.My son is a bit silly and high energy, but never unkind or disrespectful. He had a bit of anxiety about having teeth extracted and the feeling of the gas upset him. The Dr was unwilling to slow down and calm him. He made clear that my child’s anxiety was annoying and inconvenient. I expect adults to act like adults and to have compassion for children who are in pain. My husband is a pediatric nurse and regularly helps kids through difficult medical procedures. He observed that the staff had no ability to do this.

I personally dislike going to the dentist and was afraid my 8 year old would feel the same way. Smile Reef made my child feel safe and informed him of the importance of seeing and taking care of your teeth. Thank you and my son enjoyed his experiance.

Hands down the best dentist for kids. all my 3 kids have been coming here since the were 3yrs old. they make it a priority to make them comfortable and keep it fun .my kids actually look forward to coming for their check ups O_o

My 2.5 year old had her first dentist appointment and it went way better then i imagined!! The Staff at the summerlin location was absolutely amazing!! Everyone was so sweet with my little girl and did everything they could to make her happy and comfortable! Dentist and the staff explained everything they were doing in detail and answered all my questions. Very happy with everyone there!! We have found a dental home for our little one!!

Well deserve five stars the office is adorable the staff is awesome very informative and very sweet and And caring with my daughter Dr. Lamb is an excellent dentist super straight to the point and does an amazing job and was amazing to my daughter and like I said so is his staff. I took my daughter to four other dentist and finally landed at smile reef (the one on flamingo) and boy I am so glad I found them. Thank you!

My daughter had anxiety and usually has a melt down at the site of needles. The staff at Smile Reef helped her feel comfortable from the first appointment on. They answered all of her questions and made sure she knew she didn’t have to be afraid. I highly recommend them! Dr Lamb was fantastic! 8 extractions and she’s 8, she didn’t freak out even one time. Perfect and stress relieving as a parent to know she was in great hands!

We love coming here. This is not my childs regular dentist but Dr. Lamb and all of the staff are awesome start to finish! So far my son has been referred here twice. 1x for a crown and today they had to extract a baby tooth that would not come out. I love how prompt they are and they did so well with his crown he said well it didnt hurt so I dont mind having another one put in! lol! Thank you Dr. Lamb and staff.

Loved how quick and easy the visit went especially since most office visits are weird now with COVID. They did temp checks and the normal questions and took us to our area, the dental hygienist and the dentist were both very nice and my son although wasn’t super happy about getting his teeth check out also didn’t cry. They were patient and quick! Thank you guys!

Best dentist for my kids! Right now they are ages 4 and 6, and my oldest has been coming here since he was about 3. The staff is always friendly, efficient, and helpful. Children’s waiting room is awesome - plenty of entertainment for impatient kids, while always being kept sparkling clean. We never have to wait too long, although sometimes my kids ask to spend more time in the waiting room so they can play and watch the fish. There are TVs on the ceiling in the exam rooms so the kids can be entertained while getting their teeth cleaned. Hygienists and doctors are very patient and good with children. Beautiful facility. My kids actually look forward to their dentist visits!

We love being directly downstairs from Dr. Jensen and his entire amazing staff at Smile Reef Pediatric Dentistry. We love referring our patients that are looking for a new dentist to their office. Their office might have the coolest lobby we have ever seen. Most of our staff bring their own children their for dental cleanings. The feedback we hear from our staff and our patients about how great their experience was is what keeps us referring back up stairs. Thank you for taking care of our families and our patients!

The staff here is so amazing and kind! You feel like family the minute you walk in. The hygienists are so friendly and great with our kids and Dr. Jensen is so genuine and so nice with the kids as well. Our kids ask us all the time when they get to go back to the dentist and I think that’s a huge compliment to the Smile Reef staff and doctors who make their patients so at ease and comfortable. Today they needed to do five Abstraction on my daughter... I was super nervous for my daughter since this was not her first time just different location and last time she cried if pain. Well today we honestly were there for less than 10 minutes and he got all five of them out with no issue.. my daughter didn’t cry and she was okay... being able to feel comfortable and knowing my daughter didn’t feel pain made me at ease.. I love this place because they care about the comfort of your children.. wouldn’t change it for another place thank you

Smile Reef is an excellent pediatric dentist. The staff is professional and great with kids. I have a 2 and 3 year old who have gone twice and they love it! The waiting room is full of fun activities and a fish tank. Also, the appointments are very quick. Today we were scheduled for 12:30 and arrived about 15 minutes early. We were back to our car just after 12:30! Id definitely recommend Smile Reef.

My regular dentist recommended we take my daughter here because they felt more confident having her see someone who specializes in children. She’s always had a great relationship with the dentist and isn’t afraid in the slightest and in fact looks forward to seeing the dentist. She was little apprehensive about seeing someone new but was quickly intrigued by the fun child-centric waiting area. The office staff was friendly and welcoming and the dentist himself was great—patient, knowledgeable and answered all my tedious questions.

Our daughter is 4y/0, she had extensive work done, 10 crowns and 4 extractions in one visit. Dr. Jensen and Dr. Anesthesiologist and their staff, the whole team were outstanding. We are very happy we chose their team. Our daughter did very well after the procedure, All she remembers is the band-aid to her arm. 😊😅 she was looking for it. Days after, Our daughter is doing well with her crowns, no complaints of Owee And Thank you Dr. Jensen and Dr. Anesthesiologist for explaining the treatment plan and for addressing our concerns. Smile Reef has a very RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL receptionist. I have never had anyone treat me as rude as Erika has. She really need to work on her customer service skills. She has no patience, she rushes you on the phone and do not listen to your question before speaking over you as if she know your answer before you ask. If she keeps this up Smile Reef will lose a lot of loyal customers due to her unprofessional ways. When I told her how I felt about her service, she never tried to apologize or make the phone conversation better. Im currently searching for another dentist office.

Everyone is so nice there. They get you in right away and they are so good with the kids. I have been to other places with my daughter and this was the only place i felt comfortable with. I will never go anywhere else.

Hands down the best pediatric dental office I have ever been to. Having spent my career in the medical and dental field I am super picky about places but this place was just amazing. Easy scheduling, office is very clean, and the staff were all great. Its a 35 minute drive but so worth it.

Great 1st experience!!! We were received with smiling faces, practically no wait (although my kids wanted to play a little longer in their AMAZING waiting room), kind, friendly and patient hygienists and dentist!!! My son has Fragile X Syndrome and is non verbal so as trying as he was to brush and look over, they remained patient, calm and tried their best to get as much done as possible (sadly flossing and fluoride was not), and my daughter was eventually charmed and convinced into getting everything done. At the end they were sent to drawers filled with small toys to choose one of their liking as well as each given the typical baggie filled with toothbrush, tooth paste, floss, and toothbrush cover. Furthermore, everything seemed very clean, well lit and welcoming. I highly recommend and look forward to returning in 6 months. Thanks to everyone- from the receptionists to the dentist and everyone in between for making our first experience such a positive one!

I would not recommend this practice for your children. Dr Jensen will take his bad day out on your child. Not to mention he has replaced a handful of improperly done fillings for free on my children. My last straw was today, my 5yr old daughter was having a bad day and needed extra time calming down to have work done. Dr said he didn’t have time to deal and then proceeded to inject her shot without first applying numbing gel, which made her scream. She cried herself to sleep waiting for him to come back in and did not have the work done after having to deal with that shot. She will definitely be traumatized by this experience and we won’t be returning to his office.

The Dr. Is great!!! The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is some of his staff are not very helpful ones you ask a question or wanted to know exactly an answer bout your child treatment at the moment of visit... they give you an answer with this attitude and feel like they get offended by me asking.... the way they talked to you is not very professional... that was the only thing I didn’t like bout this office other than that it will be 5 stars but it wasn’t a very good experience w them... I paid and also asked for a receipt she gave me this attitude for asking.... I’m sorry I paid almost 400 hundred dollars can I have a copy of it just in cases you billed me!!! 😡

I have been bringing my children to their office for a few years now and it’s always a great experience! The office is beautiful and clean! Staff is amazing!

We were in a pickle. Our son needed about eight crowns, and a bunch more fillings. All the other dentists had said that they would have to do it at a surgical center. I love you Dr Jensen was willing to try in house. I think most of the difficulty was that my son is fairly obnoxious! The likelihood of it working without being put under, was rather Slim. However, dr. Jensen went above and beyond to explain that it may or may not work. He was upfront, and set the proper expectations.In the end, he was able to do it in-house! This saved us an enormous amount of money as our insurance only covers a certain amount per year.Not only does he do phenomenal work, but he does it with love! You can see that he is a husband, a dad, and more than likely a great employer! From the way you feel when you walk into the office, to how youre greeted from the staff, two the everyday interactions you might have with them, everyone is kind and helpful.

The best decision we made was bringing our children here. Comfortable and welcoming the reminders they give via text are helpful being a busy parent. The staff knows what they are doing and my daughter now likes the dentist again!! I have nothing but great things to say about them!

Never has my daughter experienced a bad appointment at Smile Reef Pediatric Dentistry. All of our concerns are always important to the Doctor and Staff. The location at the Flamingo office is much further out than the new location but my daughter loves it here at the Flamingo location. I took my son here first time at this place thinking this was gonna a great place since it had mostly good reviews. But I didnt like how I was being treated. One of the receptionists was rude and so was Dr. Jensen, and I certainly didnt like their tone of voice. They lacked customer service. This was very unprofessional and a total waste of my time. I told them I was gonna take my son to another dentist. I am definitely not bringing my kids here again.

I’ve been so hesitant to take my kids to the dentist. My daughter is 6 and her adult teeth grew in behind her baby teeth and it was my son at the age of 4 first time. They did an absolutely amazing job! The worked with them and took the time to make sure they were fully comfortable. Dr. Lamb came in checked them both they were both laughing and had so much fun. Than we got to the tooth extraction process and he did such a great job with her did everything so precisely and kept her so comfortable and happy the entire time. I would never go to another dentist office and would recommend every parent to take their child to this office. I could not have been more pleased with our experience there.

My son has been going here since he was 18 months old. I actually would drive in from Pahrump to see them because I thought they were family friendly. Fast forward to a week ago. My son and daughter both had a check-up appointment on a Monday and my son fell sick on Friday afternoon. I tried calling at 5:09pm to cancel but they were already closed. So, I called first thing on Monday and explained. The gentleman I spoke to was very understanding and I rescheduled for the following Monday.On the next Sunday, the day before the appointment, I got a really bad toothache. Never having had tooth pain before (ended up being a cracked tooth), I called my dentist and they got me in right before they closed for the holidays. So, I called Smile Reef to, unfortunately, reschedule the appointment because it conflicted with my appointment. The receptionist informed me that “since this is the second time I have done this,” that I would be charged a rescheduling fee. I have never canceled before these two occasions and I tried explaining that there really wasn’t an option in both situations, but the lady was kind of rude and made sure I knew what an inconvenience this was for THEM, as if I was just cancelling to cancel. I have referred several friends here (who now also drive in from Pahrump to bring their kids), but you can believe that I will never refer anyone again, nor will I bring my children back.Words of advice: a little understanding and compassion for you loyal clients goes a long way.

Rude Doctor, he used too much force to my 3 year old , it was sad because he was very nice the first time. Time to look for a new Dentist.i do not recommend this place anymore. He was speaking Spanish to my daughter even when we were speaking to her in English. (Racist)

I have been taking my kids to smile reef for a few years now and i love their office! Staff and both Drs are amazing with all my kids. They are super amazing at accommodating my large family. Its rare to find any kind of dr office to schedule all 6 of my kids at once and be happy to do so. My son is speech delayed and they are super patient with him and it warms my heart. Ive had others treat him differently. Love them!

I been taking my son here since he was 3 years of age he is now 8 so for 5 years this place has been nothing but the best child dentist in Las Vegas for my family.

My daughter started coming to Smile Reef to get some cavities filled in February of 2017 and they recommended an oral sedation/nitrous combination. The office informed me that my insurance covered the majority of the procedure. She even commented on how good of an insurance plan I had. I called later to confirm the amount and schedule the appointment. She did not react well to the medicine. When I went to leave the office informed me that my insurance did not cover the procedure, said I needed to pay immediately, charged me the full amount as I had to take a screaming half-conscious child home. The claim was not even submitted to the insurance before they charged me. This was not pre-authorized as it should have been. I feel completely taken advantage of in this situation and Smile Reef has done nothing except take my money for a job they never did.

I never wait long to be called back, staff is always super friendly, and the dentist answers all questions and concerns I have! I have been taking my son here for the last two years!

I Brought my daughter here for the first time when she was about 2 years old. I was kinda scared because she was still small especially for a Denist appointment. My daughter is now 4 years old she still goes here. &I totally loves the dentist office now. They always explain everything step by step. Office staff is also very helpful and very nice & clean. Couldnt ask for a better dentist to bring my daughter too.

My son was terrified to go to the dentist the first time but they were so good with him that he had no issue the very next time we went back and just happily let them clean his teeth. I love this place so much!!!

I love bringing my kids to the flamingo location. My son is 4 years old non verbal and on the autism spectrum, they are so good with him. Patient and they speak directly to him letting him know exsactly what is going on and he loves that ! My daughter loves that they have TVs directly above her while they clean her teeth

Took us back right away. All staff super friendly. Great atmosphere for the kids. Was in and out before an hour passed. Best dentist I’ve ever been to!
