RED FLAG! RED FLAG! Bait & Switch tactics! Terrible communication. Ridiculous . Scheduled an appointment for my sons teeth to be cleaned. Go to appointment, after my son comes out, then get told that appointment is only for exam and no availability until February 2022 to clean his teeth. ???? Why would you book an appointment for a cleaning and pull this exam prank? Then charge me 182.00 Cash for a exam. Bad business!

This place is not good... My father went there to get an emergency root canal done. After the procedure, he complained that Dr. Atwood was very heavy handed and he was highly uncomfortable during the procedure. He got a crown after the procedure, which broke several weeks after placement. We went back for another crown, which broke after not even a week. We are now going back for our second crown from these guys. Highly unprofessional and a huge inconvenience. Would not recommend.

Super expensive if you don’t have insurance but they do great work... even as my fiancé and I went in as a last minute emergency. They took their time with him. The doctor 👨‍⚕️ was very nice and gentle. Also, we covered our whole visit with care credit !!! They also accept most insurance but you have to make an appointment with the dedicated Dr. if you have medicaid just an FYI

Let me tell you all about Dr.Atwood, today I came to see him after I made the worst mistake of my life by going to Brighton Dental to get my wisdom tooth extracted earlier that morning . Dr.Atwood and his lovely assistant both had very helpful and assertive energy that made me feel calm and less traumatized about having my wisdom tooth removed the procedure was very quick and gentle.From now on I will definitely see him for all of my dental care because I truly can say that I trust him with my life. If you want a dentist who truly cares about his patients genuinely, please do yourself a huge favor and go see Dr.Atwood and his amazing staff you will be treated with the highest care!

Highly recommend! I needed an emergency tooth extraction and they were incredibly pleasant and professional. It was virtually painless and i was able to get onstage for my show 6 hours later. Swollen but able. The next day i didnt need the pain pills. Excellent experience.

Great office! First visit here after not seeing a dentist for 6 yrs!(yikes!) They made me feel comfortable and ready to start working on getting my smile back. Very knowledgable staff and the dentist was able to give me some knowledge on more efficient ways to clean my teeth. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the Clark county area!!!

My girlfriend Emily was very nervous about getting her cracked tooth repaired and Joanna was so kind and worked at a comfortable pace and explained everything before hand for us. She was much more relaxed because of their patience and understanding. Very gentle. Highly recommended.

Best office in town, went in for an emergency tooth extraction a couple months ago and now I can say dr Schmitt is my full time dentist. She is simply amazing. Dr was amazing , she was very gentle with the Needle, I had 4 teeth extracted that were infected , she took care of me in a matter of a few minutes. Will definitely be back as I need a lot of work done , thank you again Dr Schmitt.

My son had 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Atwood. When my son showed me the removed teeth I found that one had a huge chunk of my sons jaw attached to it. The chunk of bone is 1/2 and inch long. Its not a small piece.I was obviously upset. So I called the Dr.Here is an excerpt of convo:Maam what are you so concerned with?Sir, if you have chipped off a chunk of my sons jaw, I have no guarantee that that chip is not a fracture.Maam, I have been doing this for many years I know that that is not the case.No, Sir. You THINK you dont KNOW. You have not taken an x-ray. There is no way for you to know... you THINK. There is a vast difference between the two things.Well Maam, would you like it if your son came back tomorrow for an x-ray?Yes Sir. Yes I most definitely would. By the way, that should be your standard practice whenever you break off a big chunk of a persons jaw. You should reassure your patient. Take an x-ray to KNOW that there is no fracture. Instead of sweeping it under the rug and acting shocked when people are rightly upset by being presented with a hunk of their childs jaw laying in the palm of their hand.This practice does not care about their patients well being. Dont use this dentist!

The staff is very welcoming and comforting. They were able to get me in on the same day I called. Dr. Schmitt has a wonderful, relaxed manner. They all helped me to feel less stressed. And my anxiety decreased as we talked. Thank you for helping me feel better.

My Best friend got all four of her wisdom teeth removed! And he did a phenomenal job! He had them all out in less then five minutes. We were here for less than an hour and there was no wait. I highly recommend them for anyone!!

I went in to get my wisdom teeth removed. This way the first time I had ever had teeth extracted and I was scared out of my mind. Dr. Atwood made my experience delightful. He was very thorough and made sure that I made an educated decision. He made it a point to make me feel comfortable and stress free. I was very thankful for the amazing work he did. I didnt feel a thing and I was shocked when he said, Ok, we are all done. This is the best experience I have ever had at a dentist office and I will be sure to be back! The staff and Dr. Atwood were wonderful. When they send your partials, or dentures or any work out of their office, BEWARE! Dr. Atwood said there would be no charge. They do not stand behind bad work done. I had mine done brand new 10 months and they split right down the middle two front teeth. I was charged the $3000+ billed through my insurance and I paid out of pocket over $400! When I went back I was told there would be no charge then I get a statement in the mail from my insurance company showing $680 dollars and my portion owed is $134.00. They were to fix their work they did a terrible job on. Ten months and I had to go back again??? Great, Thanks Dr. Atwood!

Have been going to Dr. Atwood for over 5+ years, hands down one of the very best Dentist and professionals in the industry. Once a year when I seem to have that tooth that needs to be pulled I go here. They have always been pain free and fast effective service. They have even follow up with calls to make sure everything was great. I drive across town just to be seen by Urgent Dental. I can say with out a doubt there is no better Dentist in the Valley then Dr. Atwood. This is the only dentist I will ever see.

Best dang dentist I have ever met!!! Huge thank you to Dr. Aaron and his staff!!! They got me in quickly for an awful infection and did the extraction so quickly and with as little pain as possible, I hardly realized we were done. His bedside manner is amazing, a truly wonderful guy who made me feel extremely comfortable even tho I was pretty well terrified of the dentist! I really cant say Thank you enough! Ive seen a few dentists in Las Vegas, none of which I ever want to see again except for Dr. Atwood. Aaron (Dr.Atwood) I hope you read this. I am under the impression youve never had a cavity/infection, root canal or a tooth pulled. Your lack of sympathy is the reason I have come to these conclusions. Youve changed greatly in the seven years since I was last at your office. My recent visit to have a molar extracted was night and day compared to my first visit. You made sure I would dislike extractions as much as I dislike root canals. You seem to be all about the money unlike when I first meet you seven years ago. Much success to you, but you have lost my business.

Hands down best dental office ive ever been to. My whole life Ive had teeth issues but Urgent Dental took care of me. They actually show they care about you as a patient, even the front desk lady was amazing. They got me back fast and even had me watching netflix to help keep my mind off the procedure. Very highly recommended!

Do not come here. I was in a lot of pain and did not have insurance. The doctor told me he did not know if he should give me a filling or if he should do a root canal so he did a temporary filling. When I was checking out the lady didnt look up from her phone instead of rescheduling the next visit like she was supposed to. I ended up getting frustrated and leaving. Thankfully I did. The next dentist I saw said that the procedure was no where close to deep enough for a root canal and worked on the tooth that was actually causing me so much pain and did it for half the cost. The dentist here was not concerned about how much pain I was in all he wanted was my money!

I had a great experience at Urgent Dental Dr. Atwood is the best! I His office staff and assistants were friendly, attentive, and kind. I was in town for a conference and had need of an emergency extraction. His office staff took my call before the office was opened and offered me the first appt. I was in at 9am and out within an hour and a half. He was patient (I have a fear of dentists) and made sure I was completely comfortable. They accepted my insurance so the cost was just a co-pay. Best dental experience I have had thus far in my life. It may be worth flying here from Texas a few times a year just to receive my dental care here!

My favorite dentist-and I have been to many. Staff & doctor are so friendly, the doc is amazing - just overall a really good person. I had/have many teeth issues and would come back to them always. They knew me by name and I never felt uncomfortable there.

They are okay. The dental hygienist mercilessly flirted with my husband - right in front of me. Even kissed him goodbye on the cheek. I set her straight but I did think that was highly unprofessional. She has since gone. The dentists are really good though - lots of confidence in them - not a lot of confidence in their hiring choices.

Today is NOT my best day!!!! One of my toot broke of this morning. I was has a great morning, tell i had breakfast this morning. one of my toot break off... I was NOT a happy person!!! I am so glad I found this office and Dr. Schmitt!! I neglected my oral care for too long due to anxiety about even going to the dentist and wound up with some severe teeth pain. However, after my most recent experience here, I am actually excited about going back to continue the road back to good oral health!I had to have three molars pulled at once, and I was extremely anxious going into it. When all was said and done, I was in and out in under an hour and I swear it didnt even hurt during the procedure. Dr. Schmitt and her assistant Sherry were amazing! They made sure I was comfortable the entire time and the actual extracting of the teeth was done in less than 15 minutes. I couldnt believe it when she said the first tooth was done....I was expecting it to be horrible! The other two followed quickly after that and I was done! While not the most pleasant experience of my life, Dr. Schmitt made it so much better than I expected.Beyond this visit, she has given me a complete plan to get me all fixed up. I cant tell you how much of a relief it is not to have these dental issues weighing on my shoulders and to know I now have a great dentist!

Dr Atwood was the only dentist who lived up to the title of urgent dental work when he came in to repair my chipped crown on Memorial Day weekend 9 years ago. He’s been my dentist ever since and I couldn’t be more pleased with his services over the years.

They are GREAT. I have been using them for appx. 10 years and they have done right by me.My 75 year old mother was vacationing with me and one of her dentures broke on the first day she was here. It could have been a very long and painful week for her. Urgent Dental got her in at 9am that morning and had the dentures fixed by 2:45 that day. FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband went in for a scheduled appt for a teeth cleaning, which is covered by our insurance, they told him he needed a deep cleaning and ended up charging him $60 for only doing half his teeth. He also wanted to have a tooth pulled, because he plans on getting dentures,but they kept pushing him on scheduling a root canal which is $327. Certainly the most pushy people when it comes to take your money. Dont go here, they dont care about your needs, they will push you to have at her procedures just to take your money. Please stay away from this place.

Mindy at the front desk was amazing. She helped out with insurance issues and different options. Very helpful. I went in for extreme pain in a bottom molar. I couldnt eat, sleep, work or function normally. Unfortunately because of my intense pain, my BP ran high. The dental assistant caused me even more pain while doing the xrays. The dentist let me sit there for over 2 hours in excruciating pain then decided he wouldnt treat me due to the high bp. Tells me to go to the dr. Staff was nice. Dentist can take a flying leap off a high cliff.

The doctor is friendly and does great work! I enjoy this dentist very much and I dont stress out. They take Met Life insurance fyi. The staff is great, although one takes a lil while to get warmed up to. Been here three times; for fillings and a cleaning. Much better prices than my previous dentist and BETTER THAN ABBEY DENTAL!!!

I am so excited to find this Dental office and Dr. Joanna Schmitt. I took my husband, who just had a very bad experience with another dentist in town, to see Dr. Schmitt. My husband has Alzheimers and gets very confused but she took such good care of him. I cant thank her enough. I called in as I was having severe pain in my tooth. I knew I needed a root canal and explained to the lady on the phone. She said oh no problem come on in and we will get you taken care of. Can you be here by 10:30? I said yep. I was there by 10:15. They took a ton of xrays then said well we can get you back in 2 - 3 weeks!!! What’s up with being an urgent dental if they can’t do it? Then quoted me 8500 And had to do it over 6 visits??? I went to Abbey Dental and they took care of it right away, no longer in pain and they said the other side isn’t bad enough to worry about unless it’s causing pain.I don’t recommend this staff. I also had AETNA vital discount which they are supposed to take, they didn’t use it and said they don’t take it. According to AETNA they are contracted. Scam all the way around. I have a copy of my treatment plan, no where does it show insurance or vital plan.

HUGE thank you to Dr. Atwood. My 7 yr old daughter was having tooth pain. After my old dentist blew us off. I went to a family practice. They told me my daughter had all kinds of issues, but that I would need a pediactric specialist for 1 issue and a root canal specialist for another. Also that my insurance wouldnt cover anything until I paid a $4000.We called Urgent Dental to see if he could deal with both issues.He has the expertise and was willing to take a look. Both issues that the other dentist wouldnt touch, Dr. Atwood seemed to handle with ease (although I know it was a task)... he is just that good.I can SEE a difference in his work vs. our old dentist. PLUS they got out insurance to cover it. HUGE thank you for all your help! Dr. Atwood is the best and I wont take my kids anywere else!Dr. Atwood replaced the need for TWO specialist!!

So Im in Vegas for a conference when my tooth starts hurting really bad. Eventually the pain was enough that I left my conference and went to a nearby dentist, who turned out to be a quack (Absolute Dental, terrible place). That night I was hurting even more so I called Urgent Dental around 10:00 at night. Dr. Atwood told me to call him as soon as I left my hotel and he and his wife met me there around 11:00. He took care of me, pulling the tooth and making sure I was pain-free. He then drove me to a nearby 24-hour pharmacy at MIDNIGHT to get my prescription filled.I can tell you that Urgent Dental cares about their patients. To have someone take care of me in an emergency situation and treat me like I was a longtime patient was just such an incredible experience. If I lived in Las Vegas I can honestly say that this would be my first choice in dental care.

The Doctor here saved my life! Without his expertise I would have died from an abscess tooth; words cannot express how truly thankful forever greatful for you! Many blessings to you and your family, Doc!

Thanks so much for the wonderful care . Yesterday I saw Dr Schmidt and she gave me a antibiotic and pain pills to give me relief from a badly infected tooth. Today when I woke up my left side of my face and lip was so swollen and sore so I went back to see if this was a bad reaction to the meds. Then Dr. Atwood took over and removed the tooth and put a drain in to get rid of the infection. He is my hero and such a professional I will be back for all dental care as well as my husband.. Dr. Atwood far surpasses any dentist I have ever been treated by. The receptionist yesterday got me in ASAP as a walk in and was very kind. Dr. Schmidt, was also very professional. I donthe have all the names but Elizabeth and Lynn were are couple of the staff. Thanks to all of you. I had a great fear of dentist but no more......this office is the best I suggest you let them take care of your dental needs you will be glad you did.

It was after hours and i was in so much pain. After it was all said and done Dr. Schmitt told me I needed a root canal (don’t be jealous everyone). I have to say that her care, concern and overall demeanor made the experience exceptionally well. Do not let their ads or website fool you they are very deceiving. THEY ARE NOT 24 HOURS why advertise that if youre really not? I was in extreme pain and They could not service me on a Saturday morning stating all staff is on vacation and will not be in for 4 days. ok I get it everyone needs time off but why are you advertising as 24hrs ? Dr aaron atwood saved not only my tooth but my confidence & my self esteem as well!a violent & crazy man attacked me, fractured my face resulting in the loss of my top front tooth.... my entire smile was ruined.. until i walked into urgent dental! the doctor was able to save my actual natural tooth & put it back in! i will always recommend urgent dental to anybody needing any kind of work. great doctors are usually backed with a great staff, which is definitely the case at urgent dental! the entire staff was so kind & understanding of my situation. again, i highly recommend urgent dental to anybody & everybody!

Omg so let me tell you how i was terrified of coming here i had a bad tooth for about a year and my last dentist pulled the wrong tooth so i just said forget it im never going to another dentist if i have to get teeth pulled bt this place was like amazing they helped me with my fear eased my mind , and less than 5 mins my tooth was out and didnt feel a thing i have literally found my new dentist , the dr was sooo helpful and nice , made my experience sooooo comforting , i recommend this dentist me and my family are coming here from here on out , and the people at the front desk were very nice also , i was in at 10:15 did some paper work and verifying insurance by 1045 i was in the back getting x rays and numbing medicine and by 11 i was walking out to walk to my car and go home

THERE IS NOTHING URGENT ABOUT THIS DENTIST AT ALL !!!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. They are thieves and I had to dispute the transaction. IT TAKES 4-6 WEEKS TO REFUND MY MONEY ONTO MY CARD????????

Poor service. very disapointed, first they almost made my son pass out because the dentist keep him more than 45 minutes with the nitrius, then on my next appointment they send me back home because the nitrius machine was not working did not even bother to call me to cancel appointment after I drove from hollywood and lake mead all the way to blue diamond then on my third appointment they called me a day before said they could not continue with the treatment and refer me to another doctor after they have told me they will take care of my sons issue.

Cant even belive i went thru getting my theeth cleaned there my theeth hurt now i have to find new dentist!!
