This was my first ever experience getting oral surgery and I was so afraid. Thankfully I had a great doctor and nurses who talked me through everything. Doctor Saxe thoroughly explained the whole procedure to me before and it allowed me to stay calm. He was very nice and I followed all his directions throughout the procedure. He also called me the day after surgery to check on me to see how I was doing. Definitely recommend them! Don’t read the negative reviews on here ! I personally had a great experience! Thank you! :)

I recently had a problem that required the care of Dr. Saxe. He is truly excellent and thorough. His caring manner and professional staff really put me at ease. His wisdom and experience in this field are invaluable. YOU NEED NOT LOOK ANY FURTHER

I cant even begin to tell you how many doctors Ive seen for my condition(BMS). Its somewhat of a mystery in the medical community. Dr. Saxe has been the only one that has truly listened to me and has given me the confidence that we will figure this out and he tells it like it is. I so appreciate that after being written off by so many doctors. He was the only one in town that truly even knew about what my condition is. I called SO many maxofacial specialists that said we dont treat that. This was my last resort before going out of state. Very thankful I heard about him from a co-worker that had somewhat of the same affliction. Any way I got my biopsy done yesterday to really get to the bottom of this. Everything went very smoothly and to my surprise the day after he personally gave me a call to see how I was doing. If thats not top notch service, I dont know what is. It would be nice if there were more Drs out there like this. I couldnt recommend him enough.

Oral Surgery is not something most of us look forward to. However, if and when the need arises, you would do well to select the top oral surgeon in Las Vegas, that being Dr. Steven Saxe. I consider myself to be most fortunate to currently be under the care of Dr.Saxe, and his highly dedicated and professional staff. He is extremely professional, experienced and dedicated to making the oral surgery experience as tolerable and anxiety-free as possible. Thank you Dr. Saxe and your wonderful staff!

Less than one star. left worse than entering, leading to hospitalization permanent damage as result. please go to any other oral surgeon and stay away from this man. please. I should have. if you are taking a child here and genuinely care about them go to a different oral surgeon. if youre an adult seeking wellness, Id advise the same.

I went here years back and NEVER forgot the horrible bedside manner this Dr. revealed. Dr. Sax was extracting a wisdom tooth for me, and I told him I still was not numb enough, but he proceeded to pull and tug anyways! When I was making noise and showing signs of discomfort because of the pain. He rudely told me to stop the noise, or he would quit in the middle of the surgery. My blood pressure was through the roof! He had his assistant check my blood pressure multiple times because He refused to believe He caused my stress to rise well over the 180s. I had another appointment to extract my other tooth, but I refused to go back. Dr. Sax, you were awful, and your years of experience desensitized you.

My anxiety was high before and during my visit at Advance Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.  I had an active infection with pain, adding to my anxiety.  I was seeing Dr Saxe to have 3 teeth removed, including wisdom.I left an hour later feeling silly about my fears!Dr. Saxe is a no-nonsense, informed, efficient Oral Surgeon. His staff- Front Desk and assistant are all friendly, patient, and compassionate; efficient as well.Dr Saxe took the time to call me next day after surgery to check on me... a caring, no-nonsense, informed, efficient Oral Surgeon!I recommend Advance Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery without hesitation.

Dr. Saxe Is amazing. He is very profesional he Is very knowledgeable and he will answer your questions with a very detailed answer. Unfortunately Ive had to see him for several extractions but I would not go to anyone else. His nurse is also amazing! They truly are a great team together and get you through your procedure as best as they can. I appreciate you Dr Saxe! Thank you for your fine work 😁

I was scared until I arrived to this wonderful friendly warm caring professional staff! They made me feel so welcome. The best part was, the doctor was right there, not behind some curtain like OZ! He said hello and also made me feel so at ease. So I have been to many different procedures in this town since living here 25 years. This place is WONDERFUL. He not only advised me to save my tooth, and referred me to a dentist; but, he gave me wonderful advise on how to treat my tooth that was infected. He wrote me a prescription to get me by until I can get to a dentist. He referred me to a dentist. His office is SPOTLESS, and this is HIS OWN BUILDING with HIS NAME on it. If I ever know anyone that needs implants or oral surgery or anything that they do there, GO THERE! You will be in the kindest most professional hands there could be in this town. I WOULD KNOW!

Just got back from Dr. Steven Saxe office When done here will be going to get ink for the printer. So I can file complaint with Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners. I took my wife to get a procedure that she was told she would not feel or care If she paid 175.00 for gas. Walked in at 7:30 am. At 7:50 she came running out screaming and crying she wanted to go home. I hugged her and tried to calm her down. As I did this Dr. Saxe appeared, I asked him what happened. He told me he gave her a shot in her gums and she jumped out of the chair crying. I told him she thought she would feel nothing. He said she would have to go to the hospital because she is obese. Now this is when she is in my arms crying and Im trying to calm her down. I asked him if we would be getting some kind of refund, and he said no as he did give her the gas. Which had no effect on her. I took her outside talked to her. She said she would try to attempt to go through with it, as we can not afford to go somewhere else. We walked back in two minutes later and he was still at the desk. I told him she wanted to try again. He said no he would not do it. I asked if he was refusing treatment? He said no Im not, I said then take her back and do it. She was begging him please. He said the only way he would do it is in a hospital.Why this trained professional did not know that the gas would not work or test for pain after giving her gas is beyond me. But from what Ive seen theres nothing professional about this man.

Dr Saxe is highly skilled, very supportive and does better follow-up care to ensure a successful outcome than other dentists and oral surgeons I have worked with. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Saxe is the best Oral Surgeon in the City of Las Vegas! I recently had four impacted Wisdom Teeth removed, and a family member of mine also received Oral Surgery from Dr. Saxe. Both procedures went very smoothly, and we felt little to no pain afterwards! Dr. Saxe also called each of us personally following the Surgery, which coneys the compassion he feels for each and every one of his patients. In addition to this, Dr. Saxes fantastic staff is very professional and extremely attentive, which contributes to the all-around great experience you will have if you choose Dr. Saxe!

Dr. Saxe and his staff were amazing! I had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled at one time and Dr. Saxe made it as painless as possible.I have horrible fear of the dentist and needles so being awake for this was very stressful for me and Dr. Saxe went at my pace and kept me updated on everything that he was doing. I would go back to him for anything else I may need done! Excellent staff and Excellent pricing.

Doctor is down right rude and doesnt know how to communicate. I would give zero stars. The nurse is kind but that guy... Im gonna leave this as is. 🤬

This so called dr zacks is less than a professional and you will leave worse than you came!

Stay clear away from this office, they are flat out weasels. I was told that if I needed to cancel my appointment to do it at least a day before, I cancelled the day before in the morning and was sent a 50.00 bill in the mail. After calling several times including visiting the office in person to explain that no one told me they needed a 24 hour notice to cancel, they would not waive the bill. Hopefully you wont have to deal with Lakesha at the front office... rudest person ever!!!

I am so shocked at what he is stating as an expert witness in a jury trail; why would he subject a badly beaten woman to such dismissive unconcern remarks? This is just terrible; I am not a patient nor would I ever be.
