Pay no attention to half of these bad reviews, most are just ppl expecting the world to revolve around them. Keep in mind this is a SCHOOL, and as with most these stylist are there in class so their time is limited. Appointments are recommended, but so is having time on YOUR schedule and the patients to let them learn. There is no mistake the teachers cant fix and HAIR GROWS so anything you may dislike would be temporary.Now as for my personal experience, both myself and my daughter have gone on a number of occasions over the last 10+ years and have always walked away happy. The only down is the amount if time it takes, but this is a beauty salon so it takes time ;) I eould recommend them as not only are you getting a cheap hair cut, your helping someone.

Best cosmetology go and learn to be a super stylist...EXCELENT SCHOOL.

I got a pretty decent haircut(nothing fancy--just a trim) and deep conditioning there. I had schedule an appointment, so I didnt have to wait. I had a good experience there, but my biggest advice to anyone going there is that you need to budget enough time. I think I was there for about 4 hours. If you have time, a good book, and dont have outlandish expectations of students, I think youll come away relatively pleased.I plan on going again, when I can budget the time.And remember to tip!

I always get my hair cut here. The students do a great job while being monitored by a professional instructor. Not to mention the prices are excellent as well. My kids enjoy getting their haircut here as well!

I show up at 2:00 and I waited until someone would come and cut my hair. 5 minutes go by and no one. Then 15 minutes so I called the number and no one picks up. It’s 2:47 and these women show up and they tell me to come back at 6 or Monday because their student has to leave at 3. No one knew I was there and they did not care if I waited for so long. They are a waste of time and nit worth the visit.

Horrible teachers!!! the girls are so ghetto and have no respect for the costumer. i walked in one day and they said that all student where busy and there was gonna be a one hr wait but the place was empty! another time they just kept making comments about how horrible my moms hair looked! so i went to another salon called Olympian school of cosmetology and it was AWESOME i am so glad vista didnt take me. Olympian offers way more services at better prices and everyone was so nice including the instructors, unlike the lazy judgmental ones at VISTA.

Omg never again!!!!! Ruined my hair so bad! Guy went bleach happy didnt even get close to what I asked for left bleach in my hair for a long time and fried the crap out of it! Got the color fixed at another Salon had to pay double to get it fixed but that doesnt change the fact that my hair is fried. Very pissed, if you want to save some money my advice dont do it pay the extra and go somewhere else!

Always nice to me, and my hair comes out great, with a few hiccups sometimes, but satisfied none the less.

All of the students were sitting around, doing nothing, and we were turned away because they didnt have enough time. Theyre open until 9:30pm, and I went at 3:30pm. I went to Style America instead, they always have time for me.
