This place is AMAZING!! Our first technician, Shawn, was so helpful and friendly. He even took the time to talk to my little kiddos and really explained everything to me about permitting, code, etc. Super great guy!!! Then we had Ilya complete our service and again, such an amazing guy! I cannot believe he got the entire job done in a single day (I expected 3+ days). He was friendly and helpful and explained everything perfectly. When I say hard worker… I mean this guy took 1 bathroom break, no meal breaks, and worked his butt off! Honestly I’ve never seen someone doing house calls that had such great work ethic. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. And can’t beat the price either!! Thank you for such a great experience and excellent service.

I deliver water to Mr Sparky and I needed a reputable company to service my Parents house. I had gotten the run around from over 10 local companies. They either low balled on the quote and refused to schedule the work. Or they NEVER even sent someone out. I called them 4 days ago and the job was finished today. I forgot to mention that I was told that it was at least a 3 day job, that required permits to be pulled. The guys came out and customer service was more than one could expect Ilya was a pros pro. The job was done, everything was explained thoroughly. I have more for Mr Sparky to do to complete the update on my parents house. I personally don’t know why anyone would go anywhere else. The last electrician took my parents money and left open wired in the box. And thank God their house didn’t burn up with them in it. You may get something cheaper, but is it really worth the risk? I’d rather pay more and have the job done at its best quality. My Dad and Mom are super happy and my Dad who is far from emotional about anything sat on his porch and breathed a sigh of relief that I called Mr Sparky. I won’t ever use anyone else for my electrical needs.

The entire team was incredible! They were fast and efficient as well as extremely pleasant! Also they were kind about my animals being around as I have a dog with disabilities who gets anxious when she cant see whats going on, they let her watch. It was very helpful while my partner worked from home rather than having to manage her crying. I can not say thank you enough for their help!

I give Dean five stars for being conscientious and I suppose good service and product are what matters. However I like some others experienced some sticker shock. While i appreciate that this company is up to date and organized, and fills a niche left as many companies are not doing residential panel upgrades and therefore can charge what the market will bear, and that some products are/were in short supply for a period time, but I feel that consumers dont have many other options, and that is a bit unfortunate.

The tech guy was very, very good. They went room to room checking each issue. He installed a Surge protector on my panel box. He explained how it works and made recommendation on how to better protect my home. I now feel much safer after this lightening strike because of what they did. I will be using Mr. Sparky in the future.

Had an outlet which had shorted out. Found the office staff to be welcoming and friendly. Tho there was a misunderstanding with the initial scheduling, they worked well in providing a quite acceptable reschedule. Jim Tait, the responding electrician was a solid 7 out of 5. Very friendly, knowledgeable and proficient in his trade. He easily communicated the problem, options and progress along the way. Jim read the situation and conditions well, offering several tips and suggestions as well. The world could use more Jims. The only downside was the difficulty and effort needed to get the receipt which shouldve been provided the day of service.

Kyle was very professional, friendly and informative. He explained in detail the work that he was scheduled to complete. He was on time and he worked rather quickly and efficiently.

Travis was the installer of my electrical panel. It was a huge job, expensive job, and it was done well. Travis Was very knowledgeable and pleasant. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs electrical work.

The technician came out quickly, diagnosed the problems and made all the necessary repairs by the next day. They replaced the electrical panel and some other wiring that was causing arching and made recommendations to TECO for other safety issues. The price was steep in my opinion otherwise I wouldve given them the highest rating possible, excellent, professional work I highly recommend them.

Mr. Sparky was great to work with, they came right out to provide an estimate the first day and not only that, they were able to quote a few minutes later and actually start the job and finish it the same day.Anyone who is working on a remodel knows how painful the process can be and my experience with Mr. Sparky has been the least painful part of it. Our technician, Dino, was excellent and communicative along the way and very clear in setting expectations before he began the work. We were very happy with the quality of his work and his diligence on the job as well, not to mention he is very friendly and personable.The costs are very reasonable, our job was pretty complex as we did not have electric run in the ceilings throughout our beach condo with no access and wanted several fixtures installed in 2 different rooms, and wiring installed behind the drywall to allow for it.We would highly recommend Mr. Sparky for any electric needs you have and will definitely call them back in the future and request Dino.

I cant even express how great Ilya was. This was a massive upgrade to an old house - more than 50 years old - and it took him the entire day and most of the evening, in the heat, rain, darkness to move and upgrade my panel, with 40 circuits!!! He got everything correct the first time, we went around the entire house and identified every circuit, he was immensely knowledgeable, professional, and he was personable. The cost was a little much for me to consume but seeing that this was a necessity for safety and as a result of insurance needs, it was a must have and the Mr Sparky team from the receptionist to the office staff who assisted with payment, they knocked it out of the park. Ilya and the entire team are providing a very valuable service and I thank him for taking his job so seriously and really being dedicated to getting it right and doing it professionally.

Ben was great - did all the work needed in one day, and made sensible recommendations for additional work to get up to code and increase safety. They also offer a warranty on their work (had previous electrical work done with no warranty and unable to contact anyone at that company when there was a problem). Mr Sparky was recommended by a Facebook friend, and am glad we took the suggestion.

I just had a very large, expensive job done at my house and have been having issues ever since my payment was collected. The original problem still exists. I have had techs out telling me they dont know what to say. I have been waiting to hear back from a manager for a week with no luck. I am extremely disappointed in the service, and management with this company. I would not recommend using this company for anyone having electrical issues.Update from just now. I received an email from managment suggesting a repair that was just done at my house. He didnt look to see what work had already been done at my house so it must be safe to assume communication is non existent in the company.

I used Mr. Sparky because they were recommended by a friend. Based on my 2 experiences with them, I wouldnt recommend them to anybody. I didnt have any problems with the technicians. They were friendly and professional. The quality of the work seems good. The pricing seems a bit high. I dont mind paying a premium for excellent work and service, but this was not the case for me.I had several problems with scheduling and customer service. The technicians tell you one thing and the office tells you another and the office doesnt live up to the promises made by the techs. It has been very frustrating working with this company and I wont do so again.

Im really surprised with dealing with this company. I had some issues with service and had a hard time contacting a supervisor. Not being familiar with this company was frustrating. Once contact was made, things got better. Their willingness to work with me took me by surprise. I had no problem with the work that was done.

Truth is the truth! Charged $1200.00 for maybe a $450.00 repair. Lost a neutral to one circuit. Then trying to upcharge to $3500.00 to do every outlet and switch. Never will I use or suggest Mister Sparky ever again

Broke down the quote for me on the services I was entertaining and explained services that could be or needed to be rendered. Set up appointment time that was within a very reasonable timeframe, in fact it was a couple of days later( I have been advised by other companies that it would be three weeks before they could get out to the house). Did a Saturday service which was a bit hard to come by. Excellent communication. Came out at 9am and got the job done same day. Did exactly what I wanted and cleaned up after the job.

I took a day off from work because they said they would be out to my house between 8 and 12 on Wednesday, November 25Th. I waited from 730 on and never heard anything till 10:30 in the morning when they called and said they would not be out today. I was highly irritated and they told me hang up and call a manager. He offered me 25.00 off when they come out. That just insulted my intelligence and my integrity. I missed a full day of pay and in these times money is scarce. I would not recommend this company to anybody. If they can’t keep an appointment they obviously can’t do a good job, buyer beware. Oh and I did contact the Better Business Bureau, the consumer protection agency, and the local news. Terrible work and terrible customer service !!!!Robert Marker

I found Mr. Sparky through Home Advisors for a switch repair. The switch repair was the least of my problems. Josh the electrician removed the panel and discovered a fire hazard. The wires and fuses were a total mess. Josh went over what was needed and came back the next day to complete the work. He was professional and showed me all that was replaced, which was everything. Great guy, just twice as expensive as the other estimates that I got. If I hadnt looked around a little, I would have paid literally twice the next lower estimate. They arrived on time, were polite, knowledgeable and friendly. It was just way too expensive.

Did a great job diagnosing the problem with our 3-way switches and fixing it. Also installed a whole house surge protection device.

Jeremy (the NY Giants fan) was great when he reviewed the problem we were having. Then, Travis and Kyle arrived as announced and proceeded to fix the electrical issue. Kyle and Dylan were AMAZING!!! They knew how to fix electrical problems as they came up and were extremely friendly and knowledgeable!!! They were patient with our questions and trouble shooted solutions when replacing our ceiling fans became a a little tricky. After our whole house water heater went out we tried replacing the motherboard, but it didn’t fix the problem. We asked for a referral from a neighbor who sent us to Mr. Sparky. In the worst of situations they turned out to be a bright spot.Our technician was Josh Talbot, and I could not ask for a more knowledgeable, courteous, respectful technician. He assessed our problems immediately and explained all our options, which were limited. The panel box, which had been worked on by another electrical company a little more than a year ago, was badly damaged and corroded. The previous electrician didn’t seem to notice any of these obvious problems, and yes they were there before, due to unpermitted work that had been done by a previous owner. This was something that should have been brought to our attention and addressed.Long story short, Josh arrived at about 9am, assessed the problem, explained everything to us, gave us a quote, pulled the permits, (during COVID,) came back and immediately got to work. By 5:15, the work was completed, the site was cleaned up and we were given a full explanation of the work that had been done, and paperwork was completed. Timely, efficient and we are very happy with the work. I can’t say enough good things about our experience.Thank you Mr. Sparky and thank you Josh Talbot.

What I like was the professionalism and thoroughness of Anthony. Your scheduling group needs a review. First appointment time, no one showed up or called. The second appointment, service person called first thing & gave me an approximate time when he would arrive. Later the office called & said a previous job prevented his coming. And I would have to have a third appointment booked. Not a positive impression of the company. Everyone on the phone has been very polite & professional. The fan cannot be repaired. But Ive been given a reasonable quote for installing a new fan within the next 90 days. So you may hear back from me. Again Anthony is the person that makes me think I will do business with Mr Sparky in the future.

Very polite, professional and experienced service technician. The electrician was very skilled, as evidenced by his ability to install a lighted mirror on the wall without damaging any drywall—something 2 other electricians were certain could not be done. I’m so pleased with the outcome! He also replaced/updated my electrical panel and took great care to have the wires neatly placed and to label circuits accurately. I would definitely use Mr. Sparky again in the future & will highly recommend them to others.
