We had a slime in the bangs emergency so decided to try Lil Divas and Dudes and had the best experience. Cute cars and movies to keep the littles entertained. Mallory worked quickly against the toddler patience level. She made my daughter feel like a little Diva. She fixed her bangs , braided and added some sparkles. Cuts start at $20. Mallory can even come to your house ! Very safe regarding covid protocols. Its by appointment only. We will be back or maybe have Mallory visit us. Its great to have options. Highly recommend!

Mallary was great with my kids. both my girls got their curly, untamable hair, layered. she was like a ninja, working around my kids personality and very quickly. She was very patient with both girls, extremely friendly, and professional. I was very impressed with her work and was very happy she was able to fit us in. I highly recommend Mallary! My son hated getting his hair cut before we came here. My son did amazing and so did my daughter! Our hair dresser did an absolutely amazing job and she was super fast! My kiddos barely noticed she was doing anything to their hair! I love the knowledge and education she has on kids hair! She has so much patience and so sweet to the twins! I am so thankful my fiance found this place because we will be coming back! We were very pleased and happy with their hair cuts and the service! I highly recommend this place if you need a place for your kiddos! She is the best, thank you for everything!

Good for squirmy kids!

They did a great job on the cut, a little movie to keep the kids still and gave great tips on how to keep my sisters hair in better condition during swimming and other activities. They moved locations though and this one is definitely not the one in the pictures. Its very hard to find, only a small sign that had fallen off the door completely. I called 4 times trying to get better directions and no one answered. Overall they were very kind and did a good job, we even forgot it was cash only and had to leave to an ATM and they were very understanding, gave us no trouble.

Wonderful! She gives the quickest, most amazing haircuts Ive ever seen and she does it with the kids playing/squirming/whining! Prices are super reasonable...but everything is cash only, so no cards. Its by appointment only but she is pretty easy to book. I highly recommend!

Fantastic! We took my 18 month old grandson there for his first haircut because we knew hed be challenging...ok, impossible...to keep happy enough to sit still long enough for a haircut. Well, he got a little antsy at the end but he was happy in the chair (he chose the firetruck). The haircut was remarkably fast and so much better than I expected! I thought wed have to give up a little style and haircutting skill to get someone that could handle kids and work fast...nope. His haircut is expertly done, reasonably priced and we will definitely be back!

My boys ages 8 and 6 had a great experience at this salon today. The stylists made them feel welcome and at home from the minute they walked in the door. The boys loved being able to pick out a movie to see while getting their hair cut and also loved being able to pick out a chair. I loved that the stylists were so engaging and great with kids...asking them questions and interacting with them in a caring way. Their cuts turned out cute too. Best place for kids haircuts! My for year old loves to go here for his cuts. Never a struggle or a tear shed. They have personal DVD players at each station with super cool ride style seats and a whole bookshelf of movie choices to keep your wiggly little ones still while they get their new do.

I took my 2.5 year old son here for his first hair cut. First of all, I have to say I had hard time finding a place in Pinellas County that specializes in kids haircuts. I found Lil Divas and Dudes and could not get thru to them by phone. It just kept ringing and ringing or I would get a notification that the number doesnt accept phone calls. Turned out that the information on the website is for the place that is no longer in St Pete and the number is wrong. I was so happy when I found the correct number and Mallory answered cheerfully and scheduled my sons appointment for the upcoming weekend. Fast forward to today. We had out appointment this morning. As probably many parents do, in my head I had the first haircut appointment as something very special and a big hoopla with tons of pictures taken and all being about my son. Well... He had a different plan because as soon as we got there he sensed that something was up and started crying demanding we go. I have to say Mallory did incredible job! She kept her cool and just kept working on him. She snipped his curl some time in between my son crying and me trying to calm him down. I didnt even notice it and neither did my son. She is a very professional lady who obviously knows her craft! The entire process took at the most 15 minutes and my sons haircut turned out perfect! He even calmed down by the end of the cut when he saw himself in the mirror and started saying:Good job! Good job! to Mallory. We will definitely be returning customers.

Mallary is amazing! She accommodated a last min appointment when I called after my son got a horrible haircut at a different childrens hair cutting place. The price is much better here, Mallary was so friendly and she actually knows what shes doing! We left super happy with how she fixed his hair and will be making sure to come here from now on for all our sons hair cuts.

I brought my princess into lil divas and dudes St Pete the other day, and she absolutely loved it. What a great place for kids. The staff was very accommodating, and went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable. We wouldnt even think of going anywhere else in the future. Just found out they do birthday parties too!!!! She was so excited to find that out. All around amazing place with a fantastic staff.

I am VERY happy that we did research and chose this place. I had 3 mom friends recommend Lil Divas and Dudes so I went for it. It was both of my boys first haircut so I was nervous. My youngest is very shy, and I was worried he would cry the whole time. They were so friendly they made him feel right at home. They have movies they can play for each child and really go above and beyond to accommodate every child. I am 100% happy with this place and it will be where I take my kids again and again. I do not live in Saint Pete but it is worth the drive!

Mallary did a great job on our twin 1-year old boys. They were crying and fighting us the whole time but she is adept at getting in and out with her cuts and at the end of the day, the cuts look good. We will definitely return and would recommend to others. Just dont forget your cash because they dont accept cards.

We were here just before Christmas... Mallory is amazing! She squeezed us in last min so we could have his hair done for Christmas pictures even though we had never been there before! My son is 3 and Autisitc and very sensory sensitive, he can not stand his head to be touched let alone his hair cut! But Mallory was so patient amd understanding and did such a great job with him even though he screamed and kicked and fought the wholw time!! This was a blessing to find her and we will definitely be back!!! Thank you so much!!

I was so impressed with Lil Divas and Dudes for 3 reasons: 1) the staff seems so happy to be there and so welcoming. 2) the staff make customers with children with special needs feel welcome. This is not only important to the child, but also to the parent. Finally, 3) it is one of the cleanest salons I have ever been in. I will definitely return to Lil Divas and Dudes.

This place is great, and shes super quick which is good for my the year old. The only thing is, every time Ive gone shes been running at least 30 minutes late.

Best kids salon Ive found in Pinellas. Car shaped seats, individual DVD players with a movie selection for the child to pick, a salon shampoo first, braiding and added fairy dust (glitter) for girls at the end and a lollipop. Quite impressive and reasonably priced!

I made a appointment to have my Granddaughter nails and hair done, because was her Birthday We where there on time Then a woman from the front desk asked me for my Granddaughter’s name and sent us for hair cut then I told her that the appointment was for SPA (nails and hair) without cut. Then She call another one and told me that they hadn’t time to do anything.I told the woman I was waiting for 1 week for this appointment and how excited my granddaughter was. she said “sorry”, I told her don’t say “Sorry “ I’ll give you my review about your place.I was reading all reviews and I believe that they’re very racist and if your kid is black or disabled you’re Not welcome there Im not coming back! NEVER!!!!

This is absolutely the best place to take your child for a haircut. My 2 year old son is incredibly fussy when he gets his haircut and has huge meltdowns. These folks are incredibly patient and are pros when it comes to cutting a squirming kids hair!

Paw Patrol, fire trucks, balloons oh my! I bring my very energetic, and difficult to wrangle 2 year old son to the salon and often leave wondering just how did they do that again today? The fact that the owner threatened me with that just shows how desperate she was to save face and deflect rather than sincerely apologize for treating my special needs son so horribly. As you can see by her response to other negative reviews, she has horrendous customer service skills. I still get a pit in my stomach remembering how excited my little guy was to get a haircut in a firetruck! But the manhandling and rude atmosphere sucked all the fun out of it! Dont you think it would win over more customers to have an ounce of humility and to take responsibility for a customers bad experience? Her childish responses and retaliation tactics are really sad. I hope this saves someone else from such a horrendous experience.**If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I had the MOST horrible customer service experience here today. We are in town for a few weeks with my special needs 4 year old and my 17 month old for a special therapy program. This place was recommended to me. I parked right in front of the entrance. No way to not see me unloading two little boys into a double stroller. I walk in struggling with the door. No offer of help or warm greeting. Not even a hello. I asked the woman for two kids cuts and she said ummm. I cant do haircuts right now. This is my only time for paperwork. Youll have to come back in the most sour unapologetic tone. First of all your business hours say you are open at 10am and it was only 11:30am. Nothing on the door about being closed or no walk-ins. I told the woman Im 7 months pregnant and just unloaded both boys into the double stroller for this. If I leave then Im not coming back! How do you turn business away like that? Youre too busy with paperwork to do your actual job? She says oh well, I guess I could do one of them but not both. I pick my oldest who has cerebral palsy and who would get the biggest kick out of sitting in a fire truck. I showed the woman 3 pictures of what I wanted. She pulls out the buzzers and grabs his head in the most uncomfortable hold. She man handled his head the whole time. My son kept looking at me scared and worried but he was a trooper. I kept trying to distract him with the for truck he was sitting in but the haircut was so hasty and unfun that he didnt really get to enjoy any of it. She only spoke to him once otherwise the whole thing was in silence and never once cracked a smile. After it was over she didnt even try to brush the hair of him nor did she even comb his hair! She left out sticking straight up from the last cut with the scissors. She yanked the cape off him and immediately walked away to ring me up for a $17 hair cut... That was obviously the important part to her. Not making a hair cut fun for a little boy who loves trucks and was very cooperative. Still no smile and we left. What a waste of time! Next time Ill just go to Supercuts! I have no idea if this woman is the owner or just works there but she was so unfriendly! We did not get the experience we thought we wouldnt get buy looking online at your pictures. She couldnt even comb or put a little product in his hair. Literally left it sticking up from the last cut! This is an awful business! I will never come back and will post this on every review site I can. Thats not how you run a business that caters to kids. Not professional at all.Edit: Within an hour of posting this review on Facebook, the owner as well as one of her friends attacked me personally including questioning whether my wheelchair bound son with Cerebral Palsy was really disabled. They took screenshots of public posts on my FB and posted mocking comments all while saying it proves Im some sort of liar. I am at a loss as to how debating a childs disability is the type of professionalism that comes from this establishment. All because they had a 1 star review. I had to remove my review due to the harassment and taking it to a level that degraded my 4 year old son.

I have been taking my son here since his first haircut. He enjoys the different cars he can sit in and the movies they play for him and I like the great haircuts he gets.

Love the concept and everyone was really nice but my little guys haircut did not turn out so great. Lets just say he will have to wear a hat for a couple of weeks, $17 plus tip not worth it.

Literally no customers in the shop and two employees but they would not cut my sons hair because they said they were too busy. They said they had appointments coming. We asked if they could just squeeze him in before those appointments to which they replied not if you want it to look good. Atrocious lack of customer service, with an unprofessional attitude to top it off.
