Been here since 3pm sitting in my truck for 1:45 and still havent git callled. Staff just always over book.

Excellent doctor would not change him at all, but staff and appointments are horrible. If your appointment is at 3pm expect to be seen around 5pm to 6pm. While I was trying to explain something to the front desk lady she quickly interrupted me and said “if you have something to say say it to the doctor.” I wasn’t even mad all I was doing is an observation on how appointments are not met.

Dr. Rodriquez is an excellent physician. He is knowledgeable and makes our children feel at ease. We have been going to him for 13 years and will keep doing so for many more years! The staff is helpful and friendly.

Dr. Rodriguez is a great doctor, he takes his time to listen to the patient. Some of his staff on the other hand are not the best. The front desk ladies let the phone ring and ring, when arriving the have an attitude. The wait time is terrible, you can have an appointment at 3 and not be seen until 5

The doctor and the nurses are very attentive. The Dr. takes time on every patient to listen and interact without any hurry. Office staff in the other hand not always attentive , poor customer service.

Came in for an appointment on a Thursday. Waited 2 and a half hrs. The Dr sent a prescription and was told at my pharmacy it was not sent. I called back Friday and same thing happened. Monday and Tuesday still no prescription. I am at the office to receive a physical copy and Ive been waiting for 15 minutes when they told me it would be ready. Ive been with this Dr for more than 5 years and I have reached my limits. No apologies given and the poor girl in front taking all the heat for someones careless and irresponsible mistakes.

Dr. Antonio Rodriguez is a phenomenal doctor and took great care of our kids. He is very personable and genuinely cares about his patients. Im giving a bad review though because his staff is absolutely terrible, unprofessional and extremely incompetent. I moved away from Laredo and for months, my new Pediatrician and I have been trying to get our medical release paperwork for our kids. My kids start school in August and I cannot enroll them until I get the medical paperwork from Dr. Rodriguez office. My new Pediatricians office has sent the medical release form at least five times. They keep confirming they received it; however, they refuse to send us our paperwork even though they are required by law to do so. It is to the point where the next step is legal action. If you plan on leaving Dr. Rodriguez, be sure you go in person and get all your paperwork because the staff is too incompetent and/or lazy to send it.

The doctor is very pleasant and very professional. You can tell he is very caring but the front office staff is horrible. They lack professionalism and empathy. When you call to make an appointment they make you feel as if you are asking them for a favor. They are extremely rude and I am really contemplating changing doctor because of their attitude. Also, when you ask to speak to the office manager they very non-chalant tell you she is not here and i dont know when she will be in. The front staff needs to be replaced because the doctor will end up losing all of his patients and left out of business.

Dr. Rodriquez is a great doctor. Hes very kind with the kids and puts them at ease. The wait is long, and sometimes the staff isnt very helpful. But I keep going because I love Dr. Rodriquez and so do my kids.

Dr. Rodriguez is a great doctor he has been my childrens doctor since they were born & know hes my grandsons doctor

Dr. Rodriguez has been my childrens doctor for the last fifteen years. He is very good and he explains everything to you. He takes time to talk about any concerns you have or questions you might want to ask.Thank you Dr. Rodriguez!

Updated !! —My children have been patients for Dr. Rodriquez for about 10 years and I’m glad he hired new staff before I switched . Before I had given this doctor one star and now it’s about a 4 . His new staff is friendly which helps so much . Good doctor rushes a little bit like most do, but if you have questions he’s always willing to answer.

The Dr was really nice but i didnt like that the there were a few times where my son got sick, with fevers and i would call to see if the Dr can look at him and they would tell me no that they didnt have any appointments. I asked them well can i take him as a walk in and they said no also because they didnt do walk ins..... The girl was very rude to me. I wouldnt recommend to other people....

I was referred to him by a co-worker after moving to Laredo. My daughter visited him many times and he is very nice, easy to talk to and went over her records during each visit to make sure she was up to date with her immunizations. The staff is also friendly. My two complaints are, (1) the wait time to actually see the doctor but I hear its common in Laredo. We dont usually get seen until well over an hour after our set appointment. (2) There are usually several children in the office at any given time and you dont know who is sick and who isnt. They have two waiting areas. One should be designated for well children, those who are there for well visits and immunizations. His location is very convenient and even though hes overbooked they will always squeeze us in.

If I could put a negative rating I would. Ive been taking my 3 year old and my 8 month old to Dr. Rodriguez since their births. The staff is always unfriendly and short with you. Today, I had enough. They scheduled my appointment about a month ago, bombarded my phone with automated reminders and calls, and then once I figured out child care for my three year old, drove there and weathered the cold with my 8 month old, it took them an HOUR and 20 minutes to figure out that my daughter didnt need anything. After struggling with a baby for an hour and 20 minutes I get oh shes up to date on everything you can check out at the front. What? Like, are you kidding me? Nobody can just waste that much time in an office where they can catch diseases for no reason. I hope my review helps you avoid unnecessary wasted time. Every time Ive gone I wait hours even if there are only a few kids. While the Dr is a nice guy, he is very laid back and when you have urgent worries he doesnt seem to try to put worries to ease. My son is 3 and a half and doesnt speak and he simply says oh its ok some kids take longer if by 4 he doesnt talk then we will see about speech therapy. When every other dr and every article online says he should have been speaking by 2, I am outraged he wont get me the help he needs. He is a good dr for healthy kids with no issues. Good doctor but hes never there and I cant tell you how many times I was called to reschedule an appointment which is very inconvenient especially if youre from out of town. Changed doctors within a few months of having this doctor for my kids.

Im giving 5 star for the doctor the staff is very unprofessional i get there in time all the time n ppl come after me they always pass them first i think they need more pratice on how take care patients the staff is very bad n very unprofessional n wen i call that worst they keep on hold n nobody answers wow im from new york they dont even keep u on hold that long i do say i love the doctor i wan change but my gson dont want to advise to all make complaint to the doctor better

The doctor is nice but his staff is so rude. Took my 3 daughters who are patients from there and they told me they couldnt be seen because they didnt have an appt. Since when do you have to have an appt to be sick. To me this is bullshit. They should still take u in because to me this is refusing service. I am so pist off right now😠😠
