Dr. Godines demonstrated fantastic compassion and understanding for my situation. His staff were very professional and put me at ease. I never look forward to going to the doctor, but my experience at Dr. Godines’ office was actually enjoyable. I appreciate everything he and his staff have done.

Dr Godines not only the best in Laredo he saved my life from error made by internist which would have killed me had Dr Godines not discovered the real problem only 1 day before a surgery that would have killed me. I highly recommend Dr Godines. I consult Dr Godines on all my problems and he has the best diets available if you so desire to avoid medications. There is nobody more experienced than Dr Godines in Laredo.

Im surprised to see such negative reviews, the doctor is great. As for the staff, nothing out of the ordinary. My visit went as expected like all doctor visits. I have never been to a doctors office and not have a long wait. Waiting is expected with almost all doctors; if your rating the doctor based on how long you waited then maybe you should schedule appropriately. Also most of these complaints are trivial, in my opinion at least..

Ridiculous! Thats what I have to say. The doctor is a very nice man and a good doctor but his office staff sucks. I took my mom almost two weeks ago for a visit and now all I need is a simple form signed so the insurance will cover her supplies. They said they havent had time to get to it so we have to pay 500.00 dllrs for supplies that should be covered by her medicare but wont be covered because they havent had time in 2 weeks to get around to it. Now Im told they will get to it maybe by Thursday

Is this doctor aware that he is represented by an absolutely rude staff! I spoke with a woman on the phone who gave me every impression that they cared. The next day I call again, she only tells me to come in at 3, then they charge a $100/copay. Then we find out THE DOCTOR ISNT EVEN IN THE OFFICE!JUST BAD BUSINESS! Avoid this doctor, it’s nothing against him. We didn’t even get to meet him. The staff is rude. Then after 2 hours to FINALLY BE TOLD, the doctor wasn’t even going to be in!???!!?? Then when I finally have had enough to be treated like this was all our fault!!??!!???!!! when I demanded cancellation and our copay be refunded, I WAS BLOWN AWAY. THE WORST DOCTOR’S OFFICE VISIT I EVER EXPERIENCED! For the most expensive copay we’ve ever paid, even compared to other specialists, we expected more! To top that off, technology is stuck in the 70s, no tv, nothing. Horrible!

Very disappointed with this dr. He wasnt able to diagnose my mom with a small bowel obstruction, so mother was hospitalize for close to a month until the surgeon had to check what was wrong. Dr. Godines is a gastroenterologist and only visited mom twice during her hospital. Just to tell her to only eat fruits and vegetables . Unfortunately mother passed due to a complication after surgery. If you ask me would I want this Dr? NO, he doesnt seem interest in people medical cases and is not willing to go the extra mile. He showed no interest or care. So if you want a good gastroenterologist that will look into your case, find someone else.
