Dr. Wefel is horrible. Runs through the visit like hes late for a tee time. Doesnt care what you have to say either. I would have to call repeatedly just to get important prescriptions refilled. Im surprised Im not dead due to his neglect.Turn and run if youre ever given him as a Doctor.

My experience here was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The nurses did a great job and Nicki Alexander was fabulous. She was knowledgeable and really personable. I just moved here and establishing care here was very easy. The office is professional and up to date. I would recommend this place!

Absolutely HORRENDOUS practice. I was a Paramedic for 7 years so I am not an outsider in the medical field. The front desk staff was horrible. The nurses were nothing to write home about, and the PA I saw (Ill leave her name out of it) was extremely snotty and unapproachable. She treated me like I was an idiot, even though I told her about my previous career. They changed my meds which gave me a bad reaction and getting a call back was nearly impossible. Luckily I found Snowy Range Health Center. Amazing how many horrible reviews are on here. Im shocked.

Not the worse clinic, but I would stay away from here or make sure you choose your provider carefully. I got tired of how Stiches does their billing and gave this clinic a try. I will not be going back. They will try to recommend procedures and test that are useless. Be firm with them and understand what treatment options you have. Very unprofessional staff when it comes to patient care. Big plus was their billing staff who understood how TriCare works.

After running out of my presciption for over a week, I had to call them 4 times to refill it. The receptionists there have no idea what they are doing. It was extremely inconvenient and I am trying to switch doctors because its getting unacceptable at this point. Youre better off going somewhere else where the desk people can actually do their jobs. The doctors are great though.

After being treated for my medical conditions for two years as soon as I need them to actually speak up to my work I get thrown under the bus. If youre dealing with a serious issue my suggestion is go somewhere else

I have been trying to get a follow up appointment after a fairly serious diagnosis at the ER and ended up being late for an appointment I was told was 10 minutes later than what they had down for me in their system. I tried to reschedule this appointment and was instead informed that I magically had another missed appointment back in August of which I have absolutely no recollection of needing. So instead of politely arranging another appointment I was told how much I would owe if I missed another, despite the fact that I showed up for the appointment that I was late for because they told me the wrong time. I wont be going back. The only reason they get two stars is that I was somewhat happy with my services from their physicians.

Beware the business practices of this office! I was sent to collections after they mailed my bill to an old address. I asked the receptionist if I should have been given a contact information form to fill out at the time of my visit and she said yes, we should have done that but we didnt. When discussing the matter with the office manager, she informed me that they actually do not have patients fill out a contact form and that Theres a sign at the receptionists desk that instructs you to inform them of your contact updates. She went on to sort of lecture me about how they believe it is the patients responsibility to keep the offices records up to date. She claimed she called and insisted that shed left messages and I tell you, if Id received a message that there was an outstanding balance in my name I would have broken my phone trying to get it paid! I do not tolerate unpaid bills! This EXACT scenario happened to my co-worker - the exact same thing - collections and all! Theres got to be some sort of benefit for them to turn people into collections - I literally know of no other medical, dental or vision office that does not take it upon themselves to keep their own records up to date.

If I could give zero stars I would. My wife went in to see Dr. Mikesell. She has pulmonary hypertension. Symptoms of chest pain, swelling, fatigue. Dr. Mikesell refused to see her because of a $60. balance we had with him. The nurse staff was very crude and said I suggest you go to the emergency room. The ER Dr. said that wasnt right and to find another Dr. Way to kick your patient to the curb for a balance of $60. Family Physician of Laramie! Pathetic, sad, and all about the money!

Absolutely awful experience! After being sick for nearly three weeks, I finally broke down and went to the doctor for a cough that was preventing my family and me from getting any sleep. Long wait, 20 minutes of questions from a medical student in-training, and a 2 minute visit with Jennifer Bartel. I received no help or advice from Ms. Bartel and had to ask a random nurse in the hallway what I should do to treat my cough (I had tried everything OTC, with no relief). She said they would call in some pearls that would do the trick. I called the pharmacy several times that day and the Rx still had not been called in. Day two I called Family Physicians in the morning and was told they would call it in now. By the close of the business day there was still no Rx. On day three when I called, the woman who answered the phone got really nasty with me when I explained I needed my Rx and told me they were too busy to call it in. Wow. They waited until that night to call it in. The pearls didnt touch the cough and I ended up going to see Dr. Hoffman at Laramie Physicians for Women and Children. I will NEVER go back to Family Physicians. Made me sick to pay the bill just now...

I rarely visit the doctor but after a sore throat lasting over 2 weeks I broke down and went in. I had previously had a rapid strep throat test done at public health because often it can take weeks to get in. I was told it didnt look like strep and I decided against testing at doctors recommendation along with no blood test for mono again at doctors advice and because even with insurance these services are pricey. I explained to the doctor I was taking upwards of 16 ib profun a day and was at my wits end. Nothing was done or any advice on how to better take care of myself and I called back crying and the nurse was extremely defensive and blaming because I did not take the tests. Folks dont go to the doctor to be shamed about illness or treated like a burden. Perhaps she had a bad day or there is something Im not aware of but I left feeling helpless, defeated, and in a lot of pain. I will not see the FNP again and do not recommend her for no other reason than complete and utter lack of compassion and knowledge of interpersonal interactions.

Terrible service! Negative 5 stars. I think they have forgotten the oath they take to first do no harm. My daughter went into the office as she was not feeling well and she left their office feeling worse and in tears after only being seen for 2 minutes after having to wait 45 minutes to be seen. She recieved no care from the care provider, Jennifer. The office help, Loretta and Angeline should not be allowed to deal with the public as they are the rudest and most uncaring individuals I have had the misfortune to interacted with (especiallly in a doctors office) in the last 10 years. My daughter called me asking why she had to pay for her office visit out of her own pocket when we have insurance and that the office people would not let her be seen without signing a document to that effect. I had her send me a picture of this document and it is atroucious. I cannot decide if they are political or money hungary...probably both. I then called the office and asked why they would erroneously blame the Affordable Care Act for rising deductibles and premiums and put that into a document that we all signed before the ACA. We all signed documents to the affect that we were responsible for any dollar amount that insurance did not cover. But, I have never had a doctors office demand that I leave a credit card number on file as this office does. These womens response to me was I dont want to get into a political conversation with you (all about politics). I stated that I did not want to have a political conversation with them, I just wanted my daughter to get the care she needed...which she did not. I am totally astonished that a doctor or his office would treat a sick human being so badly. The worst medical experience ever. Perhaps this office should concentrate more on providing quality health care instead of politics and money!!!! WILL NEVER GO BACK, EVER.

I called because my grandpa died and his funeral was the day of my appointment so I needed to cancel. The receptionist on the phone just said ‘okay it’s canceled thanks’ and hung up the phone. I was going to reschedule but now I won’t be.. not worth dealing with the idiotic and rude staff.

This place is both good and bad. The last time I went here the guy seriously over-prescribed a steroid and I had to go to urgent care.
