When my mom ended up here after a stay at Antelope Valley Hospital, my family and I were very nervous because of the bad reviews. We could not have been more relieved to discover that this is in fact a wonderful facility with very caring staff. They all really went above and beyond our expectations, especially Denise who would return my messages even at 8 or 9pm still at work. Like any hospital or care facility, you need to be an advocate for your loved one and help make the job easier for the people caring for them.

I had the opportunity to bring my father to this facility when he grew ill, they were amazing, their nursing staff was awesome and their admissions director was amazing. At first I was hesitant because of their 1 star rating but in the end they proved me wrong. It was such an added plus that AV hospital is literally in their parking lot so when my father had complications I rested well knowing they were so close to the hospital. I recommend this facility with as much regard as possible, also the rehab team here is second to none, very kind and hard working.

This is only my 2nd time visiting my father here n as far as I can c I really like it.

When you call this facility it’s always just ringing.when someone does answer they put you on hold....no one ever follow up with a return phone.. they are very pleasant once you get a actual voice... My husband got a bad infection that he did not have upon arrival ... I’m pretty sure they don’t wound care well. He had a G TUBE for feeding that somehow got infected.. . I’m really afraid for him in there because you can’t visit due to Covid.. they rarely follow up with the FaceTime calls.. so you just have to go by what they tell you whenever you CAN GET ANY INFO. Caution Danger my mom needed rehab and while she was there she got one of the worst bed sores I have ever seen. Her foot had an ulcer that was so bad she needed a skin graft. Her heel was cracked red swollen. She laid in bed for three months and can not walk . She had no physical therapy at all. When medicare ran out and kaiser they sent her home knowing she would be home bound
