Terrible company to order from. I’ve been a customer since 2004 and the quality of the pieces and customer service have been going downhill ever since. My most recent order was placed in February 2021 and I was just told the pieces won’t be arriving until the end of November. Used to have an 8-week wait time. As others have written in their reviews, the company is still blaming Covid for these delivery issues. The poly layer on my last piece was made incorrectly and is not strong enough. As a result, there have been numerous tears in the cap. And of course, I can’t get these issues fixed until the new pieces arrive. My emails aren’t returned for days at a time, which puzzles me since these reps are supposedly working from home. I have also contacted the CEO in the past, with no response. I thought he would be interested to know that one of my pieces actually had green yarn sewn into it. Guess not. They don’t care about the clients or the quality. I wish i could find a reliable company to work with but am stuck in this unending frustration for now 😔

Long review...I have been a customer of Hair Direct for many years. A lot of those years customer service was great. Not so much anymore. For the last year and a half, getting my hair has been a nightmare. I am on the plan where almost 200.00 a month comes out of my account monthly. I am supposed to get new hair every 4 months. However I have been getting them more like 8 months. The last order came in with half of the hair density it should have. HD said they have been using new production companies all out of the country, and due to COVID-19, is the cause for shipment delays and issues with the orders. Please keep in mind the hair is supposed to go through HD quality before being shipped to the customer. So the factory and HD failed and sent out product that is useless. Now they are saying the correction is going to take as long as it would if a new customer placed a new order. They say they cant contact the production company due to time difference. HD is taking no responsibility to correct this at all. The last conversation I had with them over a week ago, they were to send me an email with previous conversations, and the CEO was to give me a call. I havent received either. This is unacceptable. Keep in mind the money is still coming out of my account every month. They have you over a barrel because you need hair.

I’m still waiting for several hair pieces from Hair Direct, two of the pieces, I ordered from them last November! It’s now August of the following year and still nothing. Also, they’ve charged me for subsequent orders and still not delivered! I now I have six pieces outstanding with them, but get nothing but excuses. Each time I call them, I am on a long wait and then I’m told that the delays are due to the Covid/supply chain blah blah blah and that orders are delayed, but in their way(yeah right!) … The Covid situation started over a year and a half ago, and they are is still blaming delays, or their inability to adapt and meet their customers needs, on the Covid /supply chain situation. It might be time for them to consider changing there supply chain. Ya think? In the meantime I’ve shopped online and I’ve gotten other pieces elsewhere while I wait for Hair Direct to deliver- not. Like Lordhair, Bekinghair, Superhairpieces. Com and Amazon all delivered adequate pieces to me, while I wait for Hair Direct. Based on my experience, and all of the negative reviews they’ve gotten recently, it is obvious, that although HairDirect may have been a reliable source at one time, their failure to adequately keep up with the changing times, is quickly making them a company of the past. Unless you want to be on their growing list of the dissatisfied customers, I’d suggest you look elsewhere for your hair pieces.

I ordered a hair piece in october, paid the deposit, then nothing!!! If you try to call them they are about as quick at answering there phone as they are shipping orders.

HD is a small company trying to provide a quality product for customers that really need a high quality hair system. This is no easy task. I admit that I have had varying results over the past few years -- getting a few good systems and others that I have needed to be remade. BUT, HD has always honored their guarantee and they have remade the systems at no cost to me and always come through.This COVID situation has literally put a stop to products moving from the factories to the US. No hair company is having success in getting human hair systems to customers. HD is not the only one!The customer service representatives at HD have been nothing less than compassionate and understanding in delivering information that the systems are once again delayed or being re-routed to a new factory. They have a tough job telling people who depend on their systems that they wont be arriving as scheduled.I believe in this company -- I believe that they will provide quality hair systems as soon as they possibly can.They provide helpful tips and excellent products to make your system last as long as possible and they stand by their products!

Do not waste your time or money on this company. I am a disabled vet that needs to cover scars on my scalp. They do not care about you as a customer only as a financial contributor to their employees. I cancelled my contract with them today. Michelle was more than happy to tell me to go look for somebody else to do my hair. Thanks for all your Kacy of support.

A couple years a the systems were nice and good quality. But then they must have changed factories or something. One of the employees told me they were getting a lot more complaints and on the new website. Well the systems never got any better for over $570 you can get the same or better quality for $100.

The hair systems here are really bad. That being said, they have good prices on hair products, been a customer of the products ONLY for about 10 years. They recently updated their website, Ive tried to place an order 3 times in the last month and keep getting error messages. They are aware of the issues...Im done...will find some place else.

Awful experience and customer service with zero knowledge.paid double the value of the item for a shipping company and broker for no reason and no informationafter ordered my items they charge me tons of money for shipping and after several days UPS again asked for extra charge to clear my package from border and no one mentioned this extra cost anywhere and when i ask the company they said they dont have any idea about it and they are not even willing to refund my money back.I literally paying 200% money for shipping than my value of items. and the company didnt help at all to help me in this mess they made

Their hair system quality is bad, I paid $ 550. ( yes they are cheaper than hair club for man but not that cheap ) after wear three week, the hair just keep fall off until the lace is exposed. I callled them, the way they handle it make me feel so much worse, please look somewhere else for good hair system. This is not a good company.

Ive been with the company for almost 5 years... after dealing with new image hair clinic and their outrageous prices... i came here and get better hair... for seriously more than half the prices...ive been late...on several payments...they are always understanding and dont charge outrageous late fees like other places... and the hair is beautiful!

Do not go for a job with this place! It reads work for a company that cares about their staff well funny, Im a single mom, I quit a job that I had just recieved a raise with. I told this to the man who hired me, he said he couldnt give me that much but worked with me and then told me I could work into getting an actual job as a person that would help with the hair (because I have my Cosmetology License) he also knew my situation.. I had my five children still at home.. my one son that came back home with his fiancée and son so I could help them...so with all this being said.. 1st day I signed papers, met the staff was shown around and worked 2nd day we had a Christmas party and then worked a little 3rd he came in and told me to get my stuff and I needed to leave.. and he wasnt very nice. I asked him what I have done. He said he didnt need to give me any reasons.. I was devastated!!! And to top it off it was FIVE days before Christmas!!! So if thats caring about your staff... thats great..

Definitely instead of improving they are regressing in every way, I felt comfortable with the company but something definitely changed, unfortunately for the worse, I had never had one hair lasted so little and I had never had to wait so long for another.I will definitely have to look for somewhere else
