I could not be happier with the care level received here. We had to have an urgent visit to the clinic and everything was stellar here. The receptionist is welcoming and helpful, the staff is super professional and friendly. I would not hesitate to come back.

No place else Id want to go for any orthopedic injuries or needs.Ive had the need of and have taken advantage of their expertise since then.They Are fantastic.They also have their own Urgent Care portion of the facility.(Unfortunately, although they may be open late, they are not open 24/7.) I prefer to drive an extra 15-20+ min away to go there vs a closer Urgent Care facility for any and all Ortho needs.

I see Dr. Rogers at orthopedic Associates. He has an amazing bedside manner and he listens to his patients. He is more than willing to try the conservative approach before doing anything invasive. I wouldn’t go anywhere else

Doctor Battista was exceptional. He took the time to explain my different options in detail. In addition, he did not try to sway me into deciding upon a more invasive treatment. Within 24 hours of using the Thumb Restriction Splint, the swelling is now minimal and the pain is nearly nonexistent. Thank you.In addition, every individual that was part of his team was kind, considerate, and knowledgeable.

Follow up today after Urgent Care appt previous week. Waited an extended amount of time to be seen for an early morning appt. Complained... the nurse Sam seemed to have an attitude. While being seen by the doc... some woman just walked into the room. Didnt introduce herself nor did the doc. Dont think I will be following up for my injury here.

This was my second visit here, and they are always kind, and helpful. I saw Dr.Colin Heinle both visits. He is very attentive to your concerns, he is friendly, and listens. He sent me for further evaluation, which I expected. Don’t hesitate to go here!

Dr Hienly was extremely thorough and very professional! The entire staff from walking in the door and on the way out were very kind and professional.

OAL has the most professional providers and support staff. They have several locations making it easy to get a prompt appointment. The facilities are very clean and pleasant.

I would like to know how the Physical Therapy department at OAL has charged my high-deductible insurance over $400 per PT session. The cost for services rendered is absurdly high with no explanation. I have visited competitive PT organizations in Lancaster and my insurance was billed less than half of this price!I was told at the front desk during my very first visit, that I could revert to a cash plan (around $100 per visit) if the costs were too high with my high deductible plan. When the bill came due many months later, the billing department said no such thing was possible, and I was left with over $1000 in out-of-pocket therapy bills with no recourse.In my opinion this is fraud based on market prices for PT.

The attending Dr. Calabrese was thorough in the exas and explanation of fracture. Also, the boot fitting has offered some relief. Will see him again in 2 weeks.

My grandson has a displaced clavicle fracture. The bones are lying on top of each other. Dr. Hyatt does not want to see him until September 17. How is this ever going to heal correctly??? I myself had the same type of injury, it required surgery.

Ive been to OAL several times. Dr. Battista is great. He is straight forward (which I like) and tells you what you need to hear and not what you want to hear. I wouldnt go to anyone else for orthopedic problems.

Dr. Sparks is fantastic I have been dealing with shoulder pain for many years and I have been to this practice before and saw a different Doctor who was great as well I received a shot in December which helped but the pain went to another area of the shoulder. Dr. Sparks listened to my concerns and gave me options between another shot and surgery and explained the good bad and ugly with no sugar coating. I did chose the shot for one last time if this does not work I am very comfortable with Dr. Sparks preforming surgery on my shoulder.

Suffered a elbow injury baseball related and met with Dr. Alexandria Starks. She was very nice and very well responsive with questions I had. She is very concerning and will help you to the fullest. Active listener and very supportive of you.

I love Dr. Rodgers. I had great care for a torn meniscus and frozen shoulder. The cortisone injection in my shoulder was completely pain free. I attribute that to his skill. Everyone from the front desk to check out were extremely helpful and friendly. All of my questions were answered and I didnt feel like a burden or that there was a rush to move on to the next patient.

I went to see Dr. Stabile to have an x ray on my knees. I told her my issues with it. I left with more questions than answers. I was still having issues and she refused to order an MRI. I have to get a second opinion on the same problem. What is the point of going to see a doctor if they are going to be unhelpful?

Every one was very cordial and very efficient. Each person practiced the recommended safety precautions to help prevent the spread of the Chinese Virus called Covid 19.Each X-ray was taken very nicely by the technician and examined by the surgeon. I would like to have been given paper copies and a further explanation as to what to expect in my future.Dr. Chris Cooke did say that my right shoulder X-ray did show arthritis and is causing me pain and limiting motion. He recommended a shot which he administered to my shoulder. The shot began working immediately, and now a day later it still is working. Again, being thoroughly interested in my own, I would like to have had him point out the arthritis seen on the X-ray.Overall my experience was very warm and professional. I would highly recommend Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster, PA to any person needingorthopedic help, and in fact I have encouraged many persons to seek help there. Dr Heinle put my right leg back together September 30, 2014. Thanks to his expertise I am chasing around an almost 3yo grandson and a 6yo granddaughter on a regular basis. He will always be my hero!More recently, he treated me for tennis elbow and 3 days later it seems improved.

Very poor experience. Dr. Batista in particular did not seem very concerned or interested in helping me. They follow a very simple playbook that doesn’t work for everyone. They quickly forced me into the wrong diagnostic path.Very slow to respond and reluctant to return any phone calls.I would strongly suggest getting a second opinion before trusting them.

Dr. Calderone was excellent!! Knowledgable, efficient, and cost-effective advice, explained clearly to a lay person. He reassured me that, following his measures, I could avoid surgery, PT, and even meds. I am taking the steps promptly, and am very grateful for his practical directions.If you have foot & ankle issues, seek Dr. Calderones advice - now!!

Great doctors, great staff, and they are always on time for appointments! What more could you ask for?

My husband hurt his shoulder. It would take two weeks to get into his orthopedic but we were able to go to the urgent care here. We were able to get X-rays immediately to get a first look and get an MRI scheduled so that the doctor can have the results before he gets to see him. All the people working there were super nice and helpful. Best urgent care either of us have ever been to!

From checking in, getting an x-ray to checking out, the staff is kind, friendly and efficient. The Medical Techs are great! They communicate with compassion. The Techs are attentive and proficient. I saw Dr. Griska for my elbow. Dr. Griska is fabulous! I highly recommend him.

Very caring and pleasant. Dr. Tocks, DO is very well manored and they provide Xrays there so they are aware of what is going on regarding your pain. If you would need further test ( MRI etc) them providing Xrays on the spot greatly helps them in your treatment, It’s nice to hear “NO surgery” after you have been through several neck & low back surgeries. I highly recommend anyone who has severe joint, back, hip and neck pain to visit these doctors.

I went in for small discomfort in my wrist. I was seen for two minutes. They strapped a brace to me and shuffled me out without telling me if my insurance covered it or what it would cost me. I dont have much doctors office experience and wasnt sure how things worked or what I needed to ask. I later received a bill for the brace which was $100.00. I found a better one on Amazon for $9.00. This is the equivalent of pulling up to a gas station and having the clerk pump your gas without you asking and then charging you $25 a gallon for it. A good doctor would have said your insurance may not cover this and you may want to look for one online or elsewhere. I feel completely taken advantage of. I called to express this with no avail. I will never return to them. I will be using wellspan facilities moving forward and suggest everyone else do the same.

A very professional kind staff. Dr. Luchetti did surgery on my finger. He is one of the nicest Drs I’ve ever had. His bedside matter is unmatched by anyone else. He’s funny, knowledgeable and kind. If anyone needs pins in your fingers, he’s your guy. But try to avoid it at all costs because it still hurts. 44 hours and mine are removed! 😊

We have used OAL before and were pleased with the service, but today I was very upset! I arrived with my 20 year old son for a follow up appointment two weeks after surgery and even tho I received a text yesterday saying one companion is allowed, I was denied. Although it would have been great as a mom to be able to accompany him and ask all the questions (after all two sets of ears are better than one!), the biggest thing for me was the fact that I rearranged my day, childcare, etc to come with him, but they knew these texts are being sent out to patients. So why not fix it, or call patients?! It happened so often when I sat there waiting, I finally left because I was afraid I would cause another scene. So, please if you must enforce the ridiculous policies, please make sure your patients are well informed!

Love the doctors and the support staff, however, when I declined my weight and height, I was given a hard time. I should only have to decline one time amd should not have to explain why I’m declining.

Dr. Sherman was great. He quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem with my feet and presented treatment options; however, the appointment was rushed. I felt as if I had no opportunity to ask questions. At the 8-week follow-up appointment, I definitely intend to ask more questions. It would have been helpful to see a plastic replica of a foot (with the Dr. pointing out the exact location of my midtarsal arthritis) as opposed to just viewing the diagnosis on x-rays.

Was greeted for temp check and questions concerning covid exposure. Very polite and directed where to go for my Dr appt. At check in desk, was greeted professionally and signed papers that had to be signed and sat for a few minutes . Was greeted friendly and had x-rays taken and in a few minutes went into exam room. Dr came in and did his examination and treated me, then said if I have anymore problems just call him.

I waited longer than expected in the lobby, but it was worth the wait. I receive friendly and knowledgeable assessment and treatment. I had several months of finger(s) pain and movement restriction. After the visit, I’ve gained about 80% use of my fingers movement and the pain is almost gone just a few days later. I’m impressed and happy to have visited with Dr. Griska and I highly recommend him.

Very very happy with services we have received. I was in a serious motorcycle accident August 2018 no fault of my own. I started with Dr Carroll for the first surgery then had a couple more surgeries and Dr Stabel also did two surgeries, now my 18 old son was in a car accident with a couple broken bones, and his level of care has been excellent, just like mine with a third Doctor to treat us. The team that supports the physicians are all very professional, thoughtful, and kind. Very busy practice regardless of what office you visit and each time you are treated well with little wait time. I accompanied my son for follow up but could not go with him due to Covid and Governors mandate not the practice itself. But again I was offered by the employee at the desk a phone call to hear what the doctor is stating. Even the billing department was very helpful and just simply nice to speak with concerning billing of the insurance. I will be forever thankful for the quality repair to my shoulder, hands, wrists, and hip. Without them I would not have the use of my right arm. Thank you LOA!

All staff were very friendly and professional. Dr. Hyatt was thorough, did not rush through the appointment and answered all of our questions. This was our first visit to this office and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Place is clean and spacious. I did no waiting to check in. Was seen by X-Ray tec very soon after check in, and didnt wait long for the doctor to see me. I was in and out with no issues. I’m not someone who typically leaves reviews but I have consistently received such amazing care at OAL that I would be remiss to not share my experiences with this group and with Dr. Paul Carroll.Ill begin with the ease of scheduling where I was /am offered multiple appointment times at multiple locations for my convenience. The staff has been incredibly pleasant on every occasion including those times that I needed to reschedule.Check-in is always quick and I have never felt like just the next person in line.I have also had interactions with staff at the urgent care clinic where every person I encountered was super kind and care was delivered in an informed prompt fashion.Now to Dr. Carroll-how do you say enough about a doctor who takes the time to actually hear you?! If you want a doctor that takes his time to do just that, one who will explain your injury and who will develop a care plan specifically for you, making sure you are a participant not only an observer, Dr. Carroll is the doctor for you. He is knowledgeable and professional but just as importantly kind and genuine and I guarantee you will laugh more than once!I have watched staff interactions on my multiple visits both in the North Point Plaza and Spooky Nook locations and they treat each other with kindness and respect. The positive vibe in the air is definitely felt and appreciated.We all know that feeling when you leave a doctors office and you felt that you were a number or the visit was a waste of time. You will never feel that way at OAL. Their care of each individual is clear.Id like to add one thing, a thank you. During the quarantine, when it was difficult to get testing appointments, I needed an MRI and OAL made their equipment available so my neurologist could get quick results. If at all possible, for an injury that is relevant to this place, avoid the emergency room or urgent care and go directly here! They treated my son wonderfully, and fast. We were in and out in no time and were so grateful to find out about them though a friend who also had a great experience here with her toddlers broken leg.

I was very impressed with Dr. Gish. As he had not seen me previously it was obvious that he had gone over my medical history very carefully and had had researched back several years. He made some excellent and helpful suggestions because of that understanding.

We arrived for scheduled appt we were led to our room, male nurse was at computer did not acknowlege us at all nor were we told that he was dialing for interpreter, he did not say one word to us other then routine question. No eye contact for one second.. awful experience.

I was diagnosed with Trigger Thumb. I was given a steroid injection and the thumb is much improved in two days. The wait for the appointment was about 20 minutes. The doctor was informative and described courses for treatment of the condition.I am well satisfied.

I was there fir a knee problem and Dr Cook treated me I wasn’t expecting a needle in my knee but he was so nice and it helped I will go there for any orthopedic doctor. Thank you Dr Cook

Daughter was seen at the urgent care dr there (who was patient and kind) said broken thumb, seen a diff dr today (who rushed us out the door) waited for 45mins to be seen and then 3 people rushed into the room we were in told us no break, if not better in a couple weeks to come back, gave splint, was seen for less then 5mins, dr didnt even look at xrays until I started asking questions, dr seemed irritated that i had questions.. No body at check-out counter, left us feeling lost and hopeless. This is 2nd horrible experience my family has had at this location.

Thank you for caring about my injury, Dr. Starks.You and your staff took care of me with such care and professionally.We had gone to Lancaster Orthopedics of Lancaster and was refused treatment at their Urgent Care office.So, we went to the ER at LGH on Duke Street and when we arrived and was seen by the triage nurse at the ER department she asked why I didnt go the Urgent Care at one of the Orthopedic groups, I told her we did and was refused to be seen.Dr.Starkes was at the hospital and came by to see my hand which I had no movement of my index finger on my left hand thinking I cut my tendon in my hand.Dr. Starks told me I had Mersa infection in my hand and I need to start an aggressive antibiotic to control the Mersa infection.I had a follow up this week Dr. Starks and her team and Im happy to say my hand is healing and I have found a Great Doctor in Dr. Starks.Thank you againCarl Espenshade

They have taken very good care of me for several years. Starting with trigger finger twice and carpal tunnel later. Now I have osteoarthritis in my hip and am being treated for that without surgery. The doctors and staff are outstanding.

Ive had arthritis in my knees for years. Usually I can get though my day as a letter carrier with just a little pain, but one day the pain progressed as the day went on. By the time I finished my route I could barely walk and when I got home I struggled up the stairs, grabbed some ice packs and headed straight to bed. My knee was swollen to melon size.When I woke up the next morning I still couldnt walk so I called Urgent Care at OAL Lancaster. The receptionist said I could just walk in whenever I was ready, so my wife stuffed me in the car and dropped me off at the front door (Covid-19 rules & regulations, ya know).Check-in was effortless with a rather pleasant lady behind the plexiglass, and I took a seat in the reception area. I was called back in a matter of minutes to an exam room. After a few questions I was taken to x-ray - the x-ray tech was top-notch. Then I met my doctor, Katelyn Mellinger, PA-C. She was super nice and very knowledgeable. She showed me my x-rays and explained the reason for my pain. She came up with an action plan and did her job flawlessly and without pain - my favorite part. Check-out was just as nice with a very delightful lady who took care of me and sent me on my way with instructions and follow-up appointments. All these folks together made a nerve wracking experience a rather pleasant one. Highly recommended.

Dealing with the Doctor was easy. Getting to schedule a simple surgery was a fiasco. Felt like a busy airport where pilots are at the mercy of traffic controllers. Calling the surgery center to get answers is worse than calling the IRS office during tax season. My surgery was never schedule and no explanation or apologies were given. I was, and still am, speechless.

1st the PA tells me my son fractured his elbow so puts him in a hard sling and we were told to come back in 10 days, we go back and see a Dr and he says he has no idea why I was told that and to take it off and he is fine.They also charge you to fill out disability papers after they do surgery. Ridiculous we are paying for the surgery now paying for you to fill out a form for my job saying you did that my dear is scandalous it should be included in the surgery price. Now this is also after one of their foot specialists tells us she doesnt need surgery and has a hard cast put on her and than we get a call saying the other Dr wants to see her and he recommends surgery. Oh and her first visit in the urgent care the PA told her it was not fractured and saw nothing wrong but decided to send her for an MRI after he xrayed her other foot and saw what he says was line in her hurt foot so possibly fractured

Fast friendly service

Took my 5 month old daughter there to have her “crooked toe” looked at. I called to make an appointment and verify that they have a pediatric doctor. They confirmed that they had a doctor, Dr. Brenneman, that specialized in pediatric. When we went to the appointment, Dr. Brenneman came in and simply looked at the toe and then said, “yeah we don’t really do pediatrics here but I will refer you elsewhere”. A week later, I got a $600 bill.
