*0 star review*If i could give 0 stars i would. The staff there is very unprofessional and rude! Everytime i come here it’s a unpleasant visit. I’ve had doctors changed 3 times and i only would come every so often. Mrs.Semple (i believe that’s how you spell her name) was the best, but she no longer works there and i don’t blame her. DONT COME HERE. They don’t care. I’m definitely looking to go elsewhere. Don’t even think about calling, you’d be placed on a 20 minute hold then some. Took me about a hour just to talk to someone. I don’t recommend! I would report if i knew how about my experiences.

I can’t comment on any other doctor here, except Dr. Manrique. This woman’s bed side manner is unbelievable. She makes you feel comfortable, almost like visiting a friend. I recommend her 1000 times over!

I cannot say enough about the care I received during my pregnancy and post pregnancy at Springs Women’s Health! I absolutely loved Doctor Semple and all of the staff.

Very disappointed. I had made an appointment a month prior and confirmed the appointment before going. When signing in to appointment, I was given paperwork to fill out and everything seemed fine. While filling out my forms, I heard someone with the same first name be called back. Then I was called to the window to be told that they had mistakenly given my appointment away to another women with the same first name and birthday. They explained that someone had booked her appt AFTER mine and changed mine to her last name. Was told that I had to wait 3 more weeks for next first available appointment. Was told by the receptionist that they we’re sorry but they would not be able to see me for my 12:00 appointment and they could not fit me in for at least 3 more weeks! I had taken the day off work and am very disappointed with the way this was handled. It wasn’t the end of the day where there was no time and it wasn’t my mistake. I understand that mistakes happen but I should have been seen regardless... and if not that day at least not 3 weeks later. Disappointing and will not be rescheduling.

While a patient at MUSC women’s health-Lancaster, formerly Springs Women’s Health, I was under the care of Dr. Koehler. This was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with an OBGYN. Although, I must admit that the front desk staff was always polite. I was seeing Dr. Koehler for prenatal care and thought that it’d be a great experience since MUSC had acquired their office, and I’ve been a patient of MUSC since the early 2000s. That however was not the case. My appointments were always less than 6min, and a urinalysis was only taken twice while under his care. Which I was told that he only requests a urinalysis if something is wrong, which didn’t make any sense to me. The first urine sample was taken in February which was to confirm my pregnancy and the last was a 24/hour urine test completed in March (which no results were disclosed to me). My blood pressure was constantly elevated, however the doctor showed no concern and commented that “it was normal for the blood pressure to rise during pregnancy.” Which I found that to be untrue, and that the blood pressure normally drops during pregnancy. It was discovered by a recent hospital visit that my protein levels were extremely elevated and that I was at risk for developing pre-eclampsia/toxemia. This prompted me to switch doctors immediately, and I’m glad that I did as this doctor shows more concern and has great bedside manners.

Refused to see me because I was one minute late out of the time frame for my appointment. Didnt seem to care about the situation at all either. Will definitely take my business elsewhere.

The front desk ladies are kind and also the nurse. But Dr. Semple showed no sympathy about anything. My first time meeting her, I explained that I was having terrible sickness and couldn’t keep anything down. It was so bad that I couldn’t even keep the prenatals down. At this time I had already lost 15pounds. She laughed and told me that’s normal and I didn’t have to take until I was able. Even though the nurses had told me she should be able to give me something to settle my stomach and different prenatals. So here it is another 2weeks have went by I’m losing more weight now missing work and when I call her to fill out my FMLA papers for it won’t cause me to loose my job she say she has no documents of it after I specifically told her. So I make an appointment and she has the nerve to ask me did I go to the hospital as if I haven’t told her and she told me it’s normal. Then look at me and say oh you’ve been loosing weight, which lets me know she didn’t look at any of that when I came to her in the first place. Then supposedly she was sending over vitamins and something for my stomach. Never sent the vitamins. And what put the icing on the cake is when I got into a car accident on September 26th. At first I was only having back problems but as a couple days past I started have stomach pains. So, I call to make an appointment for October 2nd she was booked up which caused her to see me October 3rd. I get there n there telling her my concerns she looks at me crazy and asked me did I call my family doctor and or physical therapy doctor. Knowing my family doctor can’t do or give me anything due to me being pregnant. Also never once looked concerned or checked anything with the baby but the heart beat. Never told me I had nothing to worry about. I feel knowing I’m this my first pregnancy she could at least make my worries a little less or show she cares and have a heart just a little.

Both Dr. Manrique and her assisting nurse Stephanie made my time pregnancy go as smooth as possible. Even delivering with her was great as she was very motivating, entergetic and with the time spent with her throughout my pregnancy I became comfortable with her and that plays a important part in the process. Her nurse is also very caring and makes sure your up to date with things and does a great job keeping in touch when needed. Even now that Ive had my baby Manrique still expresses her concerns and things she may notice out of the ordinary. I definitely would recommend her to anyone looking for a great obgyn in the Lancaster area.

I had a very wonderful, caring, and relaxed experience with Dr. Manrique. She was understanding of everything she answered my questions if I had any. My pregnancy was very well under her care. She had chosen the best care for me. Anyone looking for a great gynecologist and obstetrician Dr. Manrique is the best one out of lancaster county. I would recommend her to anyone women who had a bad experience with other doctors. She very compassionate with her patients. Every time you come in for your appointment her nurses and assistants are always in a great mood and willing to help. Dr. Manrique is always happy and a joy to be around. I trust her 100%.
