Highly engaging and knowleadgeable trainer whose enthusiasm and wisdom shines even virtually. The CBT for Anxiety course offered by Act-Cess USA, Inc. was filled practical tools and skills that could be immediately implemented in session. The training utilized various media and pedagogical approaches including video, slideshows, diagrams, handouts, and group discussions which made it interesting and accessible to people of various learning styles. There is a reason Mayte is booked through the end of 2021!

Way before Covid came around, I went to a training of Maytes, and it was just amazing. So when I saw her name for a two part series in January, I was definitely signing up. The January training was no different. It was great. In fact, I was sharing with the rest of my department about the course. The Vicarious Trauma and Self Care training was so informative and fun. It really made me realize how important self care is and I left the training with several ways to take care for myself first . Mayte explained everything so well and really got everyone to engage with each other. I would love to attend another training if possible!

Great environment to intern at! At Serise Inc, I was encouraged to work independently and be self directed. Doing the research assistance work I did helped me sharpen my research skills, be more discernible about useful or not as useful sources, and deliver consistent, high quality work on deadlines. This is a great place to intern at if you’re independent and self-directed in your work, as well as receptive to constructive and detailed feedback. I was always well taken care of when I needed guidance on the work and got excellent, straightforward feedback that helped me improve the work.
