Micheal hoober was unexpectedly insulting to me after hardly listening to what I had to say and inturupting me before I was even finished speaking. I never experienced such a conceited insensitive therapist, during a time where people are struggling and need support he tore me down and was unsympathetic.

I had been seeing Mr. Hoober for some timeHe is absolutely wonderful! He is sincere and truly caring, not to much hilarious and just great to talk to. Hes an old school punk with a 100% heart of gold. He simply always just understands and will help you no matter what. I cant say enough good things about him.

As a former/graduated client, Michael is an exceptional counselor. His defining strengths are warmth, authenticity, and connection, explained by his persona and scholarship/training from Penn. Because our present local and global worlds are too often disconnected/contentious, Michaels practice can easily be described as relevant, socially conscious, and timeless.The two limitations (as there are with all paradigms and practices) worth mentioning are specialization and availability. I would not employ as sole counsel if I required long term increased assistance. I would also not employ if I sought counsel on a specific diagnosis or treatment (with the intent of strong adherence). As he is/may be knowledgeable, his practice is relational/structural, holistic, and big picture.

Hoober is wholeheartedly invested in helping his clients. His approach in working with clients is both authentic & realistic. A combination thats hard to find in Lancaster. Highly, highly recommend.
