Therapists are professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable. My experience in referring clients for trauma therapy has been positive and has added another protective layer for clients to heal.
I thought I had finally found a therapist. The first appointment was very clinical and made me feel very uncomfortable. The next appointmentEven though I confirmed it was canceled, And when I called in, they made me feel like it was my fault. But still I made another appointment and that one made me much better. So I scheduled & confirmed & was ready. I waited for 30min, tried calling in, left multiple messages amd got an email to reschedule an hour later. I called for 2 days after that & never got a call back. After a eeek I called again, got an appointment for 2 weeks out. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, we all make mistakes. However, I recieved an E-mail, saying I need to pay a bill , even though after multiple times of asking if they accepted my insurance & being told yes, they turn around & say I owe them money. I am exhausted, my mental health is worse then when I started therapy with them. How can people improve when companys like this are allowed to operate?
Counselor canceled on my wife 2x and then billed us for a missed appointment. They also billed our insurance 2x for 1 appointment, and insurance paid 1 of the claims, obviously. They also billed us for the duplicate appointment. Can’t speak directly on the quality of the sessions, but their billing practices are sub-par. Would not recommend solely on their lack of ability to bill accurately.
Very helpful :)
