My wife loves this place. I think its extremely overpriced. But happy wife equals happy life. Employees are helpful.

It’s always an awful experience here. It doesn’t matter what day of the week it is I’m there. Some of theworkers say hi and the moment I say, “I have a question or need help with something “ they tell me they’ll be right with me and they disappear or they run right passed me before I even have the chance to ask something. I don’t see them the entire time. Previous experience I asked a girl about helping match my color and she asked over her radio for help twice. No one answered her and this was not a busy day. I appreciate her helping me. My recent experience, someone said hi and basically ran right passed me and the next person asked if I needed something, I explained how one thing wasn’t on the shelf and if they had anymore of it. I felt that I was patient because I went through the other aisles in the department of what they were searching for while I saw them running up and down the aisles and then completely disappeared. I waited at least 15 minutes until I decided to leave. I found it quite upsetting because I want to be able to see what I’m buying instead of buying it online but I always find myself shopping online instead of going there to shop. Considering anything I’m looking for is not on the shelf and neither is someone available to help me find what I need.

I have always been an eye liner and lipstick person. However, after going to a spa with my mom and hearing that my skin had major red undertones and no skin barrier I decided to change things. Ulta is amazing. The staff sat down with me and helped me pick the right foundation. I bought some eyeliner that I didnt love, but didnt worry because of their amazing return policy. The Ulta App is phenomenal. Im addicted.

My experience at this Ulta was amazing. From the start I was greeted and Morgan helped us find a item. Lisa helped me find a concealer. And Jade helped me with my ulta credit card rewards ,bringing my $210 to &122, using my rewards. This Ulta team was Purrfect !!!!! THANK YOU ALL......

The person working tried getting me to buy a whole kit of expensive products when I was looking for one simple thing. Then when I said I was all good and picked out the product I wanted they told me if I want my skin to look good I need to be willing to put in more money. I already have a skincare routine with my own products that I get from a dermatologist, I wasn’t interested in buying more and explained that to them, they gave me attitude and rolled their eyes. I work in sales and I understand you want to sell the more expensive products so you can get to your bonuses, but being rude and giving attitude when I politely decline makes me want to never go back to your store. Not to mention they didn’t even explain the products they showed to me or their benefits, but just said they were “great skincare products”. It shows a lack of product knowledge and just caring about our money.

Michael colored my hair today and I absolutely love it! He’s been doing my haircuts which I love too but trusted him to color it and it’s fabulous!!

I love the salon at Ulta. Everyone is awesome especially Madisyn. I absolutely love the way she cuts my hair. She’s great.

One stop shopping for skincare and makeup. They carry all the major brands and some luxury ones as well.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The staff was able to answer my questions and help me find the right color match foundation.

Once I walked through the door, the cashier greeted me and made sure another employee covered the register front area while she helped me. I ordered a foundation online and when it came i absolutely hated it. I brought it in to return and asked for help finding a new one. The employees were so sweet. They happily returned my original foundation, and helped me find & order a new one.They were so patient, honest, & helpful. Would happily stop in again!

I love ulta but I have had the same rude checkout girl now 3 times in a row and is why I’m here posting this review. Please try to be kind to customers. I had a return and she treated me like I was ruining her entire day by being there. It makes me want to not come back and just go to Sephora and get treated with dignity and respect like I usually do.

So I normally love Ulta and this pains me to leave this review however my latest customer service experience with them was awful. I placed an online order and unfortunately since I recently moved it shipped to my old address. I checked the status after I thought it was taking too long and realized that while I did add my new address onto the account I never deleted the old one. Completely my fault. But when I reached out to say hey I never got this order but was charged for it the response was basically sorry about your luck. Do better Ulta

I love Ulta - but the employees? Not so much. It’s only ever extremes - either you’re completely ignored or they ask if you need help every two minutes. I appreciate individual creativity in regards to personal makeup choices - however, if I am going to take someone’s advice on what products I should or should not buy - there needs to be a clear demonstration that employees can actually do makeup tastefully and/or realistically. Express yourself of course — But when you are working in the retail makeup industry - maybe don’t have your nose contour so visible that it looks like two parallels muddy stripes running from your eyes to the tip of your nose. Luckily - we have access to amazing tutorials online, and reviews - and the majority of shoppers know what is good and what isn’t - however, I wouldn’t want to send my mom in there alone - a makeup novice - and trust that the employees would a) acknowledge that she was there (like I said - they ignore you) b) or give her sound and age appropriate makeup advice. Just my two cents. The store is lovely. It is clean - but the staff leaves a lot to be desired.EDIT: Since I’ve written this review - I’ve noticed that the makeup work by staff is much improved ... and some have worn none! I love that! Thanks, Ulta. Moving from 2 to 3 stars.

Ive been waiting to post, as Ulta is one of my all-time favorite places to purchase my beauty products. Ive been a faithful customer for years, and decided to run in to purchase some hair dye, as I hadnt had time to find a new stylist yet. While looking, I asked the manager about what he would recommend. He turned me to one of his hair stylists. She told me not to purchase any products, and shed be able to give me exactly what I wanted. I booked an appointment with her for the next date. I came in with already blonde hair, but wanted a more ashy tone and a few more highlights. I left the salon with brunettes hair with orange highlights. I was so incredibly upset and was told she could lighten it up if it didnt wash out in a week. I called exactly 7 days later, and was told she wasnt available. I was given a correction appointment with the manager. The manager apologized and told me that that probably just left my toner in too long, but that she didnt have time to completely fix the mistake but could throw some highlights in. I sat for 2 hours and ended up with hair that was still darker that NY original hair color. $250 later, and all that came out id this was damage to my hair. I will NEVER return to this Ulta salon, and thankfully found a stylist elsewhere to fix their mistake.

My daughter tripped and fell and was crying and bleeding in the store and the cashier nor the associates asked if she was ok. Not one single person flinched just keep going on. That is very bad costumer service and i will never be returning here.

Cool place

I didn’t come into buy anything and Jessica greeted me by saying I had a great complexion and a smiley face. I may have not thanked her for it but later on she helped me with everything I needed with a happy smile. Great customer service at this Ulta compared to others. Jessica made my day and If it were up to me I think she deserves a raise!! Definitely going back to this Ulta for anything I may need.

I absolutely love Ulta Beauty! Ever since it first opened the employees have been nothing but nice and generous! The skin services are amazing. I go regularly to get a 10 minute express facial. The hairdressers are amazing! Korin is my regular stylist and every time she does my hair it’s nothing but good things. She has such a good attitude and Great respect every time I come to see her. Nothing but great things at Ulta!!

I luv this place for beauty products. People are friendly and helpful. The only thing is ,which I told the people that work there, its not there fought.The products I buy ,are primarily named brands .And you cant use a coupon .Its like whats the point of giving them out?

Just had my hair done at the salon by Amber! She was amazing! Consistently saw the staff asking people if they could help them with anything. Laid off when people said they just wanted to browse. By far the best Ulta experience I have ever had. I have been to dozens of different store locations and have had mixed feelings about many experiences. This one is an hour away from where I live but I will be returning on a regular basis. Amber is officially the only stylist allowed to touch my hair! Loved this place!

This is a great place to go to try beauty products before you buy them. They carry a range of products from drug store to department store. I only gave 4 stars because a couple of the workers there were not friendly at all. I definitely recommend this place for all your beauty, skin care, and hair needs.

I don’t go here a lot but when I do, it’s because my girlfriend needs something. loll great selection though. It seems like they have almost anything you’d need. Definitely the regular spot for us to go to. Decent pricing and great customer service from the people that work here. A+ for sure.

I love Ulta, they have so much beauty products to choose from. Plus you can get your hair done & eyebrows. It is a bit pricey ($22) to get your eyebrows done, but its worth it. I go here for all my beauty products & make up.

Extremely clean store. I was asked by several employees if I needed assistance right away which is very impressive. I have been to multiple locations and this is yet the best one for service. Alana the stylist was fantastic.

This location is one of the best! All of the employees are friendly and knowledgeable, always checking to see if you need help. I got my eyebrows done today for the first time at the brow bar and Jada did an amazing job! I will definitely be returning!

The store itself is fine. However Ive seen a recent decline with the employees. No one ever asks if you need assistance and if you do they treat you like you are a complete annoyance or they are busy with conversations with eachother. Its very offputting. I know I am not the only one either. I spoken with multiple people about this particular location, thinking is it me? Did I go on a bad day? Apparently thats just how they operate here. I have gone to other Ulta locations and its never been like this. At other locations they are so nice and helpful. So whats up with that Lancaster? Maybe its something you should really be looking into.

I have only been able to interact with a polite employee once in a blue moon. For the most part, I feel like a burden when asking for help. It isnt a very welcoming environment. Im very disappointed. I love going to Ulta, but I have been avoiding it because this is currently the closest one to me.

I have always had help finding what I need and no one here has been anything but delightful and helpful. ignore the negative reviews, all the employees will GLADLY go above and beyond to help you out!

I went in because Im trying to get into makeup and I wanted to understand everything in person verses listening to people online because I couldnt ask questions and get answers like that. I asked for help and I was told just to browse. I dont know what Im doing and asked where I should start.Edit: The more I come, the worse it gets. I made an account with them to get the rewards and they didnt put my number in correctly. I tried changing it and now Inhave no access to it because the original number they put and my actual number dont work. When I ask for help, they cant answer any of my questions. I dont plan on returning

I got my makeup and hair done there for prom, they did an amazing job!! Madisyn did my makeup and also helped me with finding a good conditioner, she was amazing!! Kourtney did my hair and was quick and also wonderful!! Will go back in future if I need my hair or makeup done!!

Employees got attitude. I opened a bottle of perfume & the box started beeping . One of the female employee came with attitude & grabbed it from me without answering my question about perfume. Disappointment, overpriced on ALL professional haircare items, and all the items that can be purchased at CVS or Target are also overpriced. They do have a large selection of professional haircare tools and products if you need them asap, but, ask your own personal stylist to order you a blow dryer, curling iron or flat iron specifically for your needs and they will not price gouge you! And seek the advice of your personal stylist on what hair care to be using also, no matter where you purchase it, because it will all be a waste of money if you buy the wrong thing for your hair type or needs. That said, we were in the store for almost an hour and not one person asked me or my 23 year old daughter if they could assist us, leaving us open to possibly purchase all the WRONG things for our needs!!! We will both continue to be loyal Sephora fans!!!

I absolutely Love Ulta and their staff’s customer service is always on point!! I have gotten my hair done there on several occasions by the stylist Corrine or Korin who I recently read the most alarming review about! She is such an amazing hair dresser, always upbeat and courteous and listens to what I want, she did such a fabulous job on my hair! Cut, Color & style! No complaints whatsoever! I was so concerned by this review I read that I had to see if this was true! So I googled the person, to see if I could see a picture of the damage to her hair! Because I was worried that I may need to find a new hair dresser! But I found a FB profile with the same name, and it shows that her & her husband dyed her hair on July 28th! Maybe that is cause of the damage to her hair.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Morgan was my favorite. She relaxed me with an Express facial.

I went in looking for a product that is Ulta specific, walked around for several minutes and past several employees but was not approached. I ended up going to the check out counter and stood there for a moment or two before the two employees present stopped talking to each other and asked me if I needed help. I asked if they had the product I needed, (the new Juvias Place foundation) and was told that it wasnt carried at that specific location, and that was that. I walked around for a few more minutes to look for some other things, which I could not find, and was never approached by an employee, so I left without purchasing anything. Its unfortunate when a customer comes to spend money on things they absolutely intend to buy, but are made to feel unwelcome. Went to Sephora instead, much better experience there.

Lots of items. Seems like every time I go theres lots of staff but cant seem to find anyone when I need help getting an item. They dont have any carts so if you have a baby its impossible to shop unless your baby still lets you wear them.

How rude....... I walked in was not greeted. Walked by multiple workers more than once and not a single one asked if I needed help. They had no problem continuing their personal conversation.. I did need help fyi.. thanks for asking. I had intentions to make a rather large purchase. I was excited to come here after receiving the same service at sephora just because I am not wearing Makeup doesnt mean you should ignore me..... they are just as rude here.... walked right out. And to the shoeless worker...... stocking shelves, seriously?

Kim is both very professional and caramatic. I highly reccomend her for all makeup and hair sevices! Her knowledge about cosmetics is remarkable, ask her about any product she can give you a brief review/dupe for it, match your color etc . Kim not only does stunning make up but also does amazing hair color , cuts, and updos book with her for all occasions or even just a self love day! You will not be disappointed!

I give Ulta beauty hair salon one star because Korin or Corin (it maybe spelled with a k or C) did something awful to my hair that I discussed at length with an employee and the manager. Korin did it maliciously and she shouldnt be doing hair at all skills is one thing and taking out your frustrations, anger, and or envy on someone is another I dont know the girl and she doesnt know me either its dangerous to keep her doing peoples hair. My advice is if you do your hair in Ulta hair salon in Lancaster where Korin is currently working dont do your hair with her.

Staff was a bit on the stalker side and definitely over priced, but still fun to shop for beauty products. Sephora is much better though and not far away

I have to say I dont know why the Associates here are rude and nasty! They are just bullies I have heard them talk bad about customers and employees alike. let me tell you dont shop there with kids because you will get treated even worst. Worst part is that this is the only ulta in Lancaster I dread going in this store. They need to rehire new employees that put customers first and really want to welcome and help customers. They are snobby and nasty and dont bother asking for help.

Hey my fiancé went today with her cousin and her daughter had an awful experience. When they walked in, they were not greeted and there were 3 employees present at the entrance. As they were walking around the store, my fiancé and her family overheard a employee making fun of someones hair who was not present. In addition, there were 4 employees who were holding conversations without asking my fiancé and her family if they needed assistance. They would have left immediately but hesitated because of the rain. My fiancé and her cousin looked at one another and said never again. They prefer Sephora because of the welcoming environment.
