Friendliest place I’ve ever gotten anything done. They are so nice and welcoming, I love coming in! I live almost an hour away but they make it well worth the drive.

Ive been going to alone for around 10 years now. Angie has been doing my hair and always does a fantastic job with cut and color. The front desk staff Especially Emily and Mandy are always lovely and welcoming. These girls are like family. My mom also came to Elan. When she passed away they offered me love and support. I have never experienced this with another salon Or any business in general.

Judy is an amazing esthetician! It was the best facial service I’ve ever experienced. I love love the addition of aromatherapy and massage with my facial service. It was stress relief and my skin feels and looks so hydrated, glowing and healthy. It is the best way to pamper yourself every now and then! Highly recommend!

I have been going here for the past 10 years and I am still in love with my hair each time. I see Angie every 4 months for my hair and eyebrow waxing. I do not trust anyone else in this world to do my eyebrows or hair color other than her! The experience is 10/10. I feel so luxurious when I leave!

They are always so helpful here. Friendly service, classy place. Not the expensive for how decadent it feels. They always seem to find a way to get you in when you need. I recommend highly!

Have been going to Elan for years to get hair cut and styled. Was going to my nieces wedding and asked 8 weeks before the wedding showed then the picture and asked if they could do that way. I wanted my hair up like I had form my sons wedding. Was told yes just don’t cut it before which I followed what they said. The day of the wedding after 2 hours and 2 different stylists it looked nothing like I asked. Was charged full price which was not cheap. Came home and was asked by my family was it done!!!! My daughter in law had to try to fix it so I looked ok for all the family pictures. I called the salon and cancelled my hair cut appointment and was told the manger would call me because the knew how upset I was. Never got the call and have not been back since then which was September. If they were honest to me and said they could not do it I would of found another place. This is an expensive salon and I did not expect to be treated this way. It ruined my day and should have been a happy day not cry about the way my hair turned out. Very disappointed with what happened. Also I was going to ask them to do make up done but after that could not wait to get out of there!!!!! Don’t go there if you need your hair put up for a special occasion !! If I could rate this it would be zero!!

The experience was great! I had Jess and she did a full head of of highlights and a trim. I chose Elan Hair & Spa since they use Aveda products which I try to stick with. I haven’t had my hair done in about a year and Jess did a great job blending into the blonde on my ends. I definitely will be going back😊

I cant account for any of the negative reviews of this salon, because I saw Amanda, and she was GREAT! Im currently living with the best cut Ive had in years. Amanda instantly put me at ease. I wasnt watching her cut and being nervous because I was afraid she didnt get what I wanted. We had about a 5 minute consult, she got it and went to work. I also loved that this salon did not pressure me to reschedule. They certainly offered it, but did not push it on me. I hate it when salons do this. If a customer is really happy with the work, theyll be back, and in this case, I will be!

I have been a client at Elan for over 12 years. I have always been extremely happy with all of the services I receive in both the salon and the spa. The staff are all so friendly and go out of their way to accommodate their customers which is appreciated. I often get compliments on my cut and color by Angie. I cannot recommend Elan enough!

Very happy went in today for a facial with Judy for the first time, she was well oriented and made me feel like a Queen. She understood my concerns and recommended the right product. Even though I went In for A facial I ended up receiving a Scalp Massage, A Neck And Shoulder Message, A Arm Massage And A Leg Massage. I really love my experience I highly recommended.

I am glad to see that at least some people get what they pay for here. I definitely did not. My hair was ruined for 3+ months after color and cut. I do not recommend going here unless you have super fine, super thin hair. It seems that they do not know what to do with thick, wavy, ethnic or biracial hair.

I always enjoy and look forward to my hair appointments at Elan. I am greeted by friendly, smiling and professional staff each visit. I have been seeing Rachel there for at least several years now. I keep coming back to herbecause she always does a great job on my hair! She takes the time to listen and really wants me to leave happy and feel like I am getting what I am paying for. But hair aside, no matter what kind of mood I walk in there with, I always leave feeling uplifted and beautiful inside and out. Also, the atmosphere is clean and calming and I love the Aveda products that are used. (Especially the smell!!) Thanks Rachel and Elan!

Consistently good experience over ~2 years. I get a great haircut from Emily and friendly service at the front desk. I would recommend going here over Plum if you want an Aveda salon.

I have been coming here for over a year after not being able to find any place else in lancaster that actually gave me the color i asked for .Thats when i met caitlin not only did she give me what i want she exceeded my expectations. Everyone there is great and salon is full of talented stylists!! Caitlins my fav !!!!

I used to like Elan, a lot. On my last visit I was in, hair washed, trimmed, dried and back in my car in 30 minutes. My hair looked horrible. I have wavy, thick, medium length greying hair which requires product to keep from frizzing, particularly if its dried with a hair dryer. I was asked when I sat if I wanted the head massage, apparently Liz didnt care to do it, not a big deal. After washing she proceeded to tell me that she doesnt like long grey hair. Gee, apparently she doesnt want my business. Aside from being blatantly rude, when she finished I looked awful. I could have had her add product, I did pay for an hour of time, but with her attitude I felt leaving was best. This should have been a simple trim, my ends looked worse than when I walked in, wavy hair is apparently not something she knows how to deal with. Unfortunate experience.

I want to Elán to do something very drastic with my hair, going from very light blonde to a deep chocolate color. The ladies at the front desk were very sweet, and made me feel comfortable as soon as I arrived. My stylist, Emily, was absolutely wonderful! We went over different options with my hair color and the cut afterwards. She and another stylist, Angie, helped me feel comfortable with the new cut I was getting since I was pretty nervous, having recently received a cut I was extremely unhappy with. I now have chocolate brown hair with lots of dimension that feels healthier than I couldve imagined. Thank you Emily, Angie, and the welcoming staff at Elán for being so patient and caring, and making me feel so comfortable through the experience!Pam
