Rachel Garant just walked out of my home visit today without doing anything. She left my home with all of my meds cups and meds on the table without filling them. What occurred was --- I had emailed her days ago regarding two separate issues with no communication. With my disability, emailing is the best method. of communication which I told her during my intake. Rachel did not respond until this late morning and by telephone NOT BY EMAIL which is my disability best method. This was stated emphatically to Rachel during our initial intake. When Rachel came to my home today, July 21st, she came with excuses about her lack of communication and not bringing my medication list. Rachel walked out of home after deflecting and giving excuses for her lack of communication. Rachel also stated hurtful accusations about me while walking out the door. I contacted her direct supervisor, Lana King (after getting no where through their general number and had to contact their PCA receptionist) who backed Rachel up and would not take responsibility for their poor management skills and poor communication. Sadly, Superior Home Care has a high turnover and are always hiring. Lana King also was extremely rude , intolerant, and arrogant to me on the phone and backed up her nurse not taking the time listen to my side. Rachel Garant, a two year nurse who walks out of a clients home without doing her job is completely unethical and unprofessional. Rachel yelled at me, got extremely defensive, lacked taking responsibility for her actions of poor communication. and walked out of my home leaving all of med cups and meds on my table. Please dont use Superior Home Care, Inc. I am a vulnerable adult and now dont have my medications filled and had med cups, meds, and papers all over my kitchen table when Rachel walked out of my home without doing her job.

They employed a person to care for my mother with Alzheimers who was a convicted felon and on the methadone program. Not happy about that at all. The felony conviction of this person was because she stole expensive jewelry and pain meds from a vulnerable adult in her care.
