Incompetent front staff. I was a patient here for 3 years until my change in employment. I called to ensure my new insurance would be accepted and was told it was. After waiting 4 months for my rescheduled appointment I show up to find out they dont accept my new insurance.

The dentists and hygienists are great. The problem with Metro Dental Care is the billing system: statements arent usually sent and we need to figure out what were being charged for with our insurance. If we fail to figure out by ourselves Metro Dental Care will send a letter letting you know you owe them some value, which they wont accurately disclose. Calling them is useless as well: they dont bother checking your account nor providing accurate statements and will limit to repeat what their policies are. Long story short I ended up paying significantly more than I should just to get rid of them.

I brought my children in to fix cavities. The doctor suggested sealants. My plan covers sealants at 100% Their estimate showed it was covered at 100%. I trusted her when she said it was a sealant. They referred to the procedure as sealants multiple times. After my insurance processed the claim, I had a charge of $117 x 4–$468 for a non covered D1352 Preventive Dental Restoration. My other child who also got sealants—they billed my insurance for actual sealants, D1351, and it was covered at 100%. I called them and they claimed D1352 was a type of sealant and the dentist told me the brand name, therefore I agreed to the procedure despite the fact they told me it was a sealant, as if they expect their patients to know dental products by name and as if I should’ve known the product they called “sealant” that was used on my daughter was different from the so called “sealant” used on my son at the same appointment. In addition, they charged me $375 that was due at the appointment claiming my insurance only pays 80% of white fillings despite me showing them plan docs saying it’s covered 100%. It’s sick that they force patients to abide by their estimates but they themselves don’t have to. I had to pay them $375 based on their estimate but they suffer no consequences for telling me that D1352 was covered at 100% when really it was not covered at all. I learned too late but they knew very well that there is only one billable code for a sealant which is D1351 and any other code they, despite them trying to say it’s a sealant, will absolutely not be billed as a sealant. It seems like a very convenient scam that they had me pay for something that was covered at 100% that they should be refunding me but now get to keep for the non covered service they scammed me into.

I may be biased because this is where I used to work as a dentist, but I trust Dr. Tran, Dr. Denton, and all the hygienists for the care of my own teeth and my children’s teeth. You get great care here. Keep up the good work, crew!

Yes, I loved the office staff and the dentist, but the last visit was for a cleaning only, I go religiously every 6 months, I declined the ex rays since I dont have dental insurance anymore I am a senior, I did not have it in my budget for that visit. They (the hygienist, the visiting dentist) made such a big deal of me declining ex rays (they told me they were going to have to DISCHARGE ME) I have never been back and will choose to spend my money when, where and how somewhere else!! I have always had dental insurance but now as a senior I cant get it because of the waiting periods for what I need done. They were rude and embarrassed me terribly.

I always receive quality and attentive care at metro dental. The staff is courteous and I never have to worry about an appointment.

Ive been going there for a couple years now, and things have been great to this point. I havent dealt with any dental issues, so that helps, but with that said, I really appreciate my hygienist, Tonya, whos always been very kind and professional.

Dr. Denton is the best. She is caring and highly skilled.

I just switched back to this location from another MDC office and Im so glad I did. The staff is fantastic, Sara is amazing and Dr Denton was wonderful! If I could give 6 stars I would!!

READ THIS BEFIRE SEEING A DENTIST AT LAKEVILLE METRO DENTAL !!!!DO NOT EVER WALK INTO METRO DENTAL AND EXPECT TO BE CARED FOR !!!STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !!!!!I CANNOT BELIEVE THE NEGLECT OF A PATIENT AND METRIO DENTAL SEEMS TO BE OK WITH THIS !!!!!MY SON HAD POPPED A cavity that they put in no more than six months ago and it popped out.He went in there with a lot of pain only to find out that they said he needed a root canal done. They sent him home Wednesday with this pain and a prescription of bike it in. Only to find as the days passed because they would not fix him until the weekend Saturday the pain was so excruciating that not even the Viking and helped!What dental office or any dental hygienist or Denist would allow their patient to walk out with such pressure built up in their tooth and waiting for Wednesday Thursday Friday and a Saturday appointment for days until they can get it fixed. ?That is nothing but pure negligent neglect to a patient at the service to them for them only to go through pain !!!!If youre expecting to get help when you need help with your teeth molders doesnt matter read all these reviews and youll find out just how bad they are

First let me say that Heidi is the best hygienist I have ever visited. The staff is very friendly and the location is clean but the dentist are awful. I had been missing a molar on the very back of my upper teeth and finally decided I should go get it taken care of. I had been missing this tooth for a couple of years, but got tired of the sensitivity. After my first visit they decided I needed a bridge which I knew was coming. During my visit the dentist dripped acylic acid down my cheek. Things happen, I know, but there was no effort for my comfort. He used a cotton swap and wiped it off and said it would be ok. I later had large ulcers outside my mouth due to his negligence. I went again to have the bridge done and the day after the bridge I had severe pain on the tooth in front of the bridge. I still cant chew on it and that was done four months ago. The pain is extreme. I visited again and they said nothing was wrong and recommended I visit an endodontic specialist. After my visit with her, she said the root was fine that she couldnt do anything for me. I went back to Metro Dental care and they said it was still fine, but the could file the tooth down somewhat and hope that the pain would go away. After several visits and consultations and maxing out my dental insurance - in addition to paying $4500 out of pocket! - I still have pain and wish I had never even tried to have the bridge put on. I had no issues before I visited the dentist and have wasted so much time and money and incurred much pain along the way. Save your $$ and visit another dentist for advice and any procedures you may need.

I have been going here for years and I have had crown work before. Suddenly their prices have gotten outrageous and they didnt inform me of how much it would cost. I have a $1,500 bill now for one crown after I paid $400 already and I have full insurance. They charge insurance half, but the patient full cost. I am extremely disappointed and they are rude about it.

I recommend Dr. Louie 100%. I had some issues with dental work done when I was a kid and wasn’t getting the treatment I needed until I met with Dr Louie. She was so kind and supportive throughout my appointment and explained things very throughly and what needed to be done. I needed 3 fillings, upon doing those 3 fillings, the appearance of them was a red flag to her. She rechecked my other teeth and found two more that needed to be done. Both appointments and follow ups were flawless. I recommended my family to see her. She is meticulous and professional, yet my visit was very personal. I will be returning for my hygiene and follow up care. Thank you Dr. Louie, and Brenda!!
