I have worked for Helping Hands for seven years. My job here has been very rewarding and I have had the pleasure of meeting several clients. I would also like to acknowledge my RN director, Marla Gold, she is always available to answer any questions or concerns. Further, we provide home health care services through RNS, LPNS, and CNAS. We also provide 24/7 care if necessary and if you need to go in person to the office you will be greeted by a friendly and caring staff. I highly recommend helping hands for any home health care services.

Had a caregiver helping my 88 year old mother, after about 3 months of her helping mom 2-3 days a week, I get a call saying the caregiver requested to get out of helping mom, mom loved her as did I , but helping hands left mom with nobody and now I can’t do anything because I have to stay home now! Thanks a lot.. loosers

My 92 yr old neighbor has no local relatives, she fell broke her hip and pelvic bones. She spent 5 days in hospital. Due to covid 19 the rehabs were not taking new patients. I got a call from hospital to say she had signed herself out and was going home. This was Thanksgiving Week end. I needed help fast. Lucky to find Helping Hands and Marla. She took over immediately and called her people to start 24 hr. care. Thank you Marla and all your girls who are great.

We were in a tight spot when my dad had a stroke and fell and needed to be hospitalized dand my mother with memory issues needed someone to stay with her overnight.. I was driving to Florida from PA and called Helping Hands. Marla was so sweet and helped me out by getting Jeannette to stay with my mom, until I could get there the next day. We had Helping Hands Senior services for two weeks following my spine surgery. My rating and recommendation are of the highest possible both from a care and a professional perspective. The staff, from the office personnel to the caregivers, were outstanding in every way. They were punctual, prepared and willing to perform their duties as requested and/or needed. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give them a 20!!

Our Helping Hand caregiver, on her third night with our mom, saved her life. She is a CNA with good experience and instincts. When things went awry, she recognized the serious issue and took immediate action. She called us in the middle of the night and then stayed with us until help arrived, keeping everyone calm and even moving furniture for a clear stretcher path. As we rushed to the hospital, she stayed and put things back together so Moms return will be to a comfortable, clean, orderly place. All of this goes so far beyond what we expected and we are so grateful. When Mom is ready to come home, Helping Hand is the first place we will call. We look forward to seeing this amazing caregiver again and also to meeting others who will be needed in addition. We trust Helping Hand to send us highly capable, kind caregivers.

I absolutely loved their concept of having an online family portal that keeps us updated with information about upcoming schedules, medicines, invoices, and what not! I just cannot thank Helping Hand for making things simpler for me.

Cared for my grandmother after a back injury, absolutely loved her helper.

Helping hand nursing services really cares for their patients. They hire care givers who show love, patience, and kindness to the patients. They make their patients safety the number one priority. The patients are well cared for with or without family member around, so its hard not to like the company .

She could of offered things to do instead of playing on her phone. Office manager needs to have different attitude....

I used Helping Hand Nursing Services when my 95 yr old mother had a fall in her apartment and suffered a fractured shoulder and fractured pelvis on both sides of her hips. Because of her age she was unable to have surgery so she tried to recover through rehab. We used Helping Hand Services even while she was in rehab and in the hospital just so we could have 24/7 visual on her. We had 4 girls that worked 12 hour shifts. The supervisors at the Company made sure the helpers were a good personality fit for my mom and could handle the level of care she needed. We never felt uneasy about leaving Mom with them at any point. Mom called them her angels. I can honestly say they cared for her above and beyond the call of duty because of their caring hearts. It wasnt just a job to them...they really connected with my Mom and loved on her.My mom passed away in the palliative care unit at LRMC on Jan. 30th and one of the caregivers was there with me at her side. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a caregiver for their loved one.

Dealing with the scheduling clerk, Dane, is a real treat - a real piece of work. Obstinate, argumentative, unreasonable; generally just a miserable and unhappy person, and it comes through when you try to deal with him. Proceed with caution at your own risk.
