First time having my teeth cleaned in years and it was a fantastic visit. Feel squeaky clean! Very clean office. Professional. Time efficient. Will definitely be my home dentist from now on.

The WORST experience ever . Please don’t go here if you have any PAIN they will charge u more than $280 for just an X-ray and refer you to an oral surgeon that won’t accept their own images (x rays) and I quote the actual office that took care of my husband said “ that office is out of date “ Your office needs an upgrade if you can afford to over charge your patients. If you don’t ask they won’t tell . Be very careful here and ask all the right questions before you let them touch you !

I have been a patient of Dr. Sheumaker Jr. DDS since 1995. Since being cared for I only had one dental problem under his care. That problem was solved quickly, since then I have been seeing Diane for cleaning my teeth. She does a great job and I trust her. Would recommend Dr. Sheumaker and his staff.

Very expensive Dr, you better make sure how much you have to pay out of pocket. They will not be honest at front to tell you if they are provider (in network) of your dental insurance, they will tell you they accept your insurance, beware or it will cost you big time

Love Doctor Sheumaker, been going to him since 1999. I will no longer go there due to pricing. Never have I ever paid $200 just for a cleaning.!! I have very good dental insurance that pays for mostly everything in or out of network for the past 15 years. Sadly I will be finding a new dentist.

Just recently moved here and was needing a dentist, so I just basically picked one off the internet in my area. I was very pleased with Dr. Sheumaker and his staff. I especially like the fact that you get the new patient exam and the cleaning on the same visit. This is not the case with a lot of other dentists I called in town.

I had to get a tooth pulled on 8252020. I was very nervous but it was one of the best experiences I have had at a dentist. Dr. Sheumaker had the tooth out in 30 seconds with zero pain. I have had zero pain since getting the tooth pulled. Dr. Sheukaker and the entire office staff were very pleasant and put me at ease. I highly recommend them.

I was a new patient here and had a great first experience. The office staff was friendly, the dental assistant, Cami was awesome and Dr Sheumaker was very informative, gentle and helpful. The office staff also worked with me on a payment plan which was extremely helpful. I will certainly be returning for cleanings and any other future dental needs. I highly recommend them!

Excellent experience at this dental office! I just had a cavity filled in 30 minutes from the time I walked in, until I left. Amazing! The staff is very competent and always friendly. The dentist was on-time for the appointment, fixed my front tooth confidently and with no pain. Exactly what you would expect from a DDS in the biz for over 30 years. He knows his stuff. Never did anyone try to push me to buy unnecessary services like those franchise dental offices (i.e., Coastal). I wont go ANYWHERE else from now on.

Saw Dr Sheumaker for the 1st time on 4-3-2019. Very very happy with the wait time. Also the staff was awesome. Dr Sheumaker took care of a problem tooth right away. I still have to go back and have my teeth cleaned. I have definitely found myself and my family a new dentist. Everything is clean and sterilized. Definitely recommend this place

In addition to their usual thoroughness and professionalism, the staff took extra steps to ensure that the environment of the office and exam room was clean and disinfected according to CDC guidelines. I was completely comfortable that all the extra precautions kept me - and them - as safe as possible.

I was very happy with my first experience at Dr. Sheumakers office. The staff was excellent and showed a great level of care for their patients, taking all the necessary precautions during the COVID19 pandemic. My dental hygienist, Karla, did an excellent and caring job cleaning my teeth. Dr Scheumaker was very thorough in his examination and made me feel comfortable as well. I would recommend his office without hesitation.

Bi-annual check up was excellent as always. Safety was practiced as required. If you are looking for personnel dentistry, not factory dentistry, as there was years ago, this is the place!

Great people!Before coming to Florida every dentist we went to found many cavities in my family of 6. Even when my kids were 7 years old, they wanted to do fillings on each one of them; which I did not believe and never had them done.We have been going to Dr. Sheumaker for 11 years and only found a couple of cavities in all of us in 11 years! We all have healthy teeth.Very professional and trustworthy.

Horrible people Mary the office manager for 30 plus years refuses acknowledge what a correct office visit iis??? This entire visit was a scam. They charge for exams that they don’t do and then say things like you “sat”in the chair and that was an evaluation. I will be in touch with channel 8 news on your side. I’ve never seen a more unclean and unprofessional doctors office. No one in there washes there hands. Not do they speak to you like you are a human. Mary feels like because she has been there for 30 plus years that she is right about everything. She is arrogant and no very customer friendly. Run run run go to another dentist office plenty of them in lakeland Florida.

After making a huge mistake of going to Aspen Dental I found Dr Sheumakers office. At Aspen Dental it felt like a money hungry dental assembly line but here there is so much one on one personal care. Dr Sheumaker and his staff are top of the line. I have definitely found the place I will be going to as long as I live in Lakeland!!
