Best dentist ever! I have anxiety about dentists to the point that I have avoided going in the past (big mistake!). An excellent endodontist recommended Dr. Slater to me, and I am so glad! This whole office is wonderful! All the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Slater is patient and understanding and very gentle. He takes the time to talk about things I ask about to make sure Im comfortable. Im so happy that I finally found a dentist that I can trust. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Giving this office 5 start NO DOUBT! I walked in crying with excruciating pain and left content, satisficed and relaxed. The staff is extremely attentive and the dental assistant Diana took the BEST care of me alongside Dr. Slater. Their rates are relatively economic compared to the other offices I called in the same area. I was booked within the week and was seen fairly quickly. I will be returning to continue services with them for sure! Thanks again!

My allergies were extreme today causing me issues when having a crown redone. Dr. Slater, Crystal,and everyone there were so kind and patient with me. Not sure if it took longer than usual but I am blessed to have this team work on me. I highly recommend them if you need any dental work done.

I went years without going to the dentist after I got out of the military, (8 years I believe it was). So when I decided to see a dentist to get my teeth checked up on due to some issues I was having, my wife recommended to go to Highland Dental. After two deep cleanings my mouth feels so much better than what it did, all of the staff I have met there along with Dr. Slater have been awesome, their patient care is top notch, and I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a good dentist and great staff.

Always happy with Dr. Slater and his staff. The hygienist is great also and knowledgeable. Dr. Slater did a awesome crown for me 3 years ago and I am still pleased with his work, no issues at all. He has good “bedside manner”, respectful and fast! I’ve been a patient at Highland Park Dental for many many years. Being a creature of habit like many of us, when told my former dentist was retiring, I was a bit apprehensive. There was no reason to have been. Dr Slater and his staff are very caring. Questions are encouraged. The quality and results of procedures are excellent. I have had a few things that to me were scary, like a bone graft and implant. Everything has gone very well with no problems. Dr Slater has a very calming manner. He explains all options when a procedure is needed and I’ve never felt pressured. I highly recommend Highland Park Dental/ Dr Slater.

After moving to Lakeland, it took me a longer time than I would like to admit to get myself to go to the dentist. Dr. Slater was recommended by a friend, so I made an appointment. The office staff were great. From Pamela Marie at the front desk to my hygienist, Debbie, they were all very personable. It was also nice that when I was with Dr. Slater he was not rushing to get to another patient. Dr. Slater and Debbie both did an excellent job explaining to me my oral health and what I was doing well and what I needed to focus on.
