It’s a great little spot to go to it’s usually not crowded which is a plus for me and I’m sure for others check it out

Just another corporation showing their true colors to make every dollar they can! They have a feature on the app to upgrade easily, so easy my 11 month old did it when she had my phone. When I call to fix it they make you come in to do it no way on the app or over the phone. Anything to make it harder to get an extra dollar!!!

The staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The equipment is in excellent condition. The hydromassage chairs are really, really nice.

I went into the gym to sign up for the black card being 17 yrs old and the employee told me I could sign up on the app. Never told me I had to be 18 for the black card. The next morning after i signed up i was gonna go with a guest and they tell me I can’t because i’m not 18 and I need to be downgraded to the other plan. I cancelled the membership because i only wanted the black card to be able to bring a guest and go to any PF gym. Then they don’t want to issue me a refund after they said they only give refunds for mistakes, which technically in my case this was their mistake because their employees misinformed me when i signed up. Don’t recommend.

Place was super clean! Not too crowded for the Monday I went. Staff is super friendly.

Andrew that works at night is such a good worker! Always in a great mood, always cleaning or working on smthng. I visit a few other local PFs and I can say without a doubt Ronkonkoma, at night, is the most well maintained of any others.My only request would be if staff could start lining up machines, maybe a1-2x per day.Any normal machine being off isnt bad, as the seat will automatically align your body. But, the bench presses being crooked is an issue, as u dont notice until u start benching and can screw up your shoulder. I will include a pic to try to show why its such an issue.

A gem of a gym. Brand-spanking new; it had opened just weeks before the COVID shutdown. Great staff. Polite and helpful. Now that it is reopened, you can see just how hard the staff works to keep things clean and convenient. All new Matrix equipment. Every other cardio machine shut down for social-fitnessing.The crowd meter in the app is a great tool to help gauge when to go. Plenty of sanitizing stations scattered throughout the gym so you can clean/sanitize your machine/equipment BEFORE and AFTER each session. So glad to return to an in-gym workout routine. Wash your hands, wear your mask and be nice.

What can I say Im 55 years old I have never been in a gym in my life I lost 80lbs and was determined to keep going , when i walked in feeling very anxious and full of anxiety Stephanie the assistant manager walked right up to me and welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like i was part of a family ..She was so Thorough and friendly and encouraging ..Everytime i go in there she takes the time tO Talk to me and make me feel GREAT..THANK YOU STEPHANIE YOU ARE AMAZING ..

5/5 for Andrew thats usually working overnight- hes always in a great mood, greeting everyone, being friendly even while dealing with people (like me) complaining about the (non-existent) hot water in the showers. Solid guy, solid worker, definitely an asset to the company.Otherwise the gym itself is 1 of the nicer PFs Ive been to.So 5/5 for Andrew & 4/5 for the gym until they fix the hot water 😎

Mostly Awesome place. 24 hour weekends would earn my 5th star. But overall its a Clean gym, with friendly staff, & safe equipment.

Good experience but didn’t have all required equipment that a gym should have I wanted to build & work on chest but having a support bench lifting isn’t it for me. This gym is for someone who wants to get a quick pump in a hit the road.

The ronkonkoma club is always very cleanI have to say the front desk asst manager Stephanie is the best she is always so friendly so helpful it a pleasure to see her and talk to her she signed me up and my friends and akways goes out of her way to help us and her smiles are the best Also want to say HeAther the manager is also great and very friendly and helpful

Staffs are awesome and very friendly. Theyre willing to communicate with me through writing or gesture since I am Deaf. That place is very neat.

Been a member here for a few weeks and overall I’m enjoying it.My biggest complaint is that the mask mandate doesn’t seem to be enforced well. There are always a handful of other customers with their noses out for the entire workout. I often have to move my spot or avoid entire areas because someone is doing a cardio workout with their nose out.It makes me not want to come.

The staff is excellent. They are friendly and professional. The gym is clean . The equipment gets the job done . The tanning machines are the best I have used . I like a gym I can show up at 0300 hrs if I want to.

They have a core group of people that work the front desk. They’re all really nice and helpful, and they’re constantly rotating cleaning shifts. I’ll be there for under 2 hours and see at least 2 employees cleaning different sections during my workout. Highly recommend this spot but not to too many people, one of the things that makes this location a gem is not a lot of people seem to know about it!

Very unprofessional. Few years ago I was denied even having a conversation about a membership. Talk about being judgement free lol. Sorry I’m big…. Doesn’t mean I’m a hard headed gym bro. But what do you expect from a company run by a bunch of knobs.

Very clean. Staff is courteous. Alot of cardio machines.

Its a super clean place. Every other machine is closed for social distancing. Just wish the hot water in the showers lasted more than 60 seconds before staying ice cold Forever! Nobody likes a cold shower in the winter after a good workout lol.

Clean and bright. Friendly staff. Tons of cardio equipment and ample strength training equipment as well.

BEWARE: a friend of mine was robbed at this gym. Someone cut the lock off his locker and stole his personal belongings.

Very clean and covid conscious. I went to the centereach planet fitness for years and actually transferred JUST because this gym is so much cleaner. Everyone wears a mask which makes it safe for everyone.

They are nice and its clean there. Hate the masks tho. It makes me feel like Im being water boarded when my mask on gets sweaty. But that isnt Thier fault.

Super clean and really conscientious about Covid protocols. Staff is friendly and helpful and make you feel comfortable if you are new.

I love this place is new n beautiful with so much equipment. I’ve been training with the lovely Dana, I have to say that she is awesome, sweet, charming n very respectful.. what ever class you sign up with her she’s willing to teach you and demonstrate your workouts with lots of patience, she’s never rushing n she’s always making conversations with you n making sure you’re feeling okay, I only know her for two days n I feel like I’ve known her for ever. Thank you so much Dana for your time n your patience. Not only is She awesome but I will have to say the entire staff at this location are very nice and friendly too. They always greed you n every time you have any questions they will stop doing whatever to assist you no matter what is your situation. They are always working hard n making sure the gym is nice n clean.. thank you Planet Fitness for providing the community with a great gym n for having an awesome staff!!!!! Bathrooms need to be refreshed every morning.

Its a lot smaller than most. New machines is a plus ,the benches for smith machines are better. Ab machine choice could be better.Floor space is too used up for treadmills.

I love coming to this location. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and everything is always stocked and cleaned.

I love coming to ronkonkoma planet fitness. First of all the staff is the greatest. Always friendly and helpful. Always a greeting hello and a goodbye when you leave. The manager is a true professional. Two employees that stand out to me are bri and jace. I feel so welcomed by them. When you go to a gym you need encouragement and a friendly attitude by the staff this gym supplies that. They are diligent with their cleaning and making sure makes are worn due to covid. I have a personal reason as to why I come to the gym and have told bri and jace. They took the time to listen to me and that really touched my heart. I am only one of many that come here but I think every member is treated like they are the only one! Also the place is so spotless! I cant say enough of the staff- exceptional!!!

Its always extremely clean, i never have to wait for machines, the staff ALWAYS greets you when you come in, Michael will always come up to you and root you on for that 1 extra rep. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Love the location love the staff & we love the new equipment. Nothing broken. Everything works. Love the infrared booth! We couldn’t wait to leave Centereach! Felt that some staff not friendly & not helpful! We don’t get that at Ronkonkoma or Stonybrook! The staff at Ronkonkoma are awesome & location is our fave!!Css as not wait for them to open again!

Clean, close to home which makes this gym super convenient!! New equipment, friendly staff!! Definitely ten steps above the Centereach location - at least here the manager isnt yelling at members! If your currently going to centereach I suggest changing to this location. Much better all the way around!!

Kind of small compared to other planet fitnesses. Friendly staff. Hard to find everything because it feels so clumped together.

Went to join today with my wife and we were very disappointed the footprint is so small, my living room is bigger then the main equipment area what a shame we walked out.
