I went to my first visit yesterday and I was very impressed with how professional and kind everyone was. Dr. Homerstad was very informative, answered all my questions, and was very friendly and knowledgeable. I look forward to working with their office in the future.

Hands down the absolute BEST dentist office ever! Stephanie at the front desk is so welcoming, financially informative, and explains everything in great detail! The dental assistants and dental hygienists are amazing at what they do as well! You will truly feel comfortable and feel at home here! Outstanding team.Was quoted a price for a crown at another local dentist which seemed high.. So I scheduled an appointment with Dr Homerstad for a second opinion. The tooth needed a crown but Lake Jackson Modern Dentistry quoted me a price that was more affordable. They said they could start right then, no need to schedule for another day.This place will have my business.Quality work at a fair price, all I can ask for and all that I expect. You get it here.

I have been going to Modern Dentistry for years. Today I went in for not one but two crowns and had the an awesome experience. Dr. Jung and Jackie answered all my questions and had sure I was at ease before my procedure. Thank you ladies for my best experience yet!!!

Was called the day of an appointment, that I waited 3 weeks for, that my insurance wasnt accepted. They are in my provider list. Tammy(manager) was rude and would not explain why, other than they accept other Humana plans but not one that was paired with a federal program. I dont care that you worked there for 6 1/2 years. Talking over someone is rude. A grievance will be filed. Get off the provider list.

My family and I have been going to this office over 2 years. The staff has been welcoming every time and always so friendly. Today, Ashley worked on my teeth and made my experience great! I was really nervous and she helped me with making the right decision and working with me when my anxiety was high.

I’ve been coming to Modern Dentistry for about 3 years now for my dental and orthodontist visits and I love it. Always professional and I’m in and out quickly. Stephanie at the front desk is always so polite and Tricia has always been a joy as well. Highly recommend!

This place is awesome 🤩 we have been coming here for about 4 years now. My kids love it they are thorough and gentle especially Jackie who is a wonderful dental assistant that really makes the process run smoothly when we bring our kids in for a visit.

This WAS a good place. Management doesn’t return call on urgent issues. As the end of my braces come to light, this office has gotten worse and worse. If you like your doctors office or your orthodontist or your dental office to return your phone calls I would not suggest this place.

Today I Got all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled out and i must say i was sooo very nervous amd scared BUT this dentist office is by far the most kindest, sweetest and caring people! I felt so much better after everything was done and i am so glad i came here. Thank yall!

Dr. Khan is amazing. A good, professional cleaning, and a cavity filled, all very quickly. I do not like shots (like most folk), and her bedside manner was quite comforting. She was also very informative: she answered my questions and walked me through every step of the procedure. My mother is terrified of dentists, and I recommended her to see Dr. Khan since she cares for every patient with such warmth and finesse

Had my daughters teeth extracted and dentures. Paid a pretty penny up front and four payments after each month, decided to go ahead and pay it off early but they forgot to cancel the automatic withdrawal. Needles ro say its been over 3 weeks phone call after phone call and they still have not returned my money. We are not talking a small amount. Unreal!!!

Where do I start? Monday my tooth broke, so I called this place. I made an appointment for wednesday at 8 a.m. I arrive at 7:30 as prompted by whoever i talked to. Once going to the desk I found out I was nowhere in the system. Ok cool. I made an emergency appointment to go ahead and be seen. The desk manager comes in and she told me and i quote you must have talked to the call center , and they sent us a email for us to put you in the system for an appointment. Mind you im not to the best part. So i sit till 8:30. I get to the back to get xrays. The tech was awsome! She did the xrays fast and got me in my seat in the back. Dr. Jang came in to see me and viewed my teeth xrays and the whole nine yards. We are not talking financing for two teeth(fill and crown). We get that done and now im waiting for the numbing stuff and to get started here its 10 a.m. Dr. Jang comes in gives me the shot and tells me now its time for you to get numb ill be right back. A hour goes by with me sitting in this chair. She starts working and i feel it once she gets about 30 in. Here we go another shot and leaves again. Jang comes back and starts the drilling and such. Awsome so we do this for about an hour to an hour and a half. Dr. Jang leaves and says someone will come in and do the scans for the crown and filling( getting an in-house crown). Alright Awsome! So I sit there for another hour before anyone came in. Then the dentist comes in and takes the pictures and says Im going to have to do it myself. Okay thats cool too. Okay so theres another 30. She tells me it takes about 45 minutes to make the filling and crown( cutting and baking it). I step out and vape cause by this time im frustrated of how long ive been here. I Go back in and watch some videos time flys by.Then the tech comes in and asks if im still numb. No im not so guess what another shot! This times instead of waiting till im numb she leans me back and blows the air on my newly drilled gums and tooth. Instant reaction of shutting my mouth. It felt like i chomped down on a piece of glass. She asked oh your not numb?(im sitting here like seriously lady?) I told her No. She starts working but easy cool lets get this shizz done. I get numb so shes getting down to business, and im starting to feel everything again bout 20 minutes in. Guess what ANOTHER shot. (Yes 4 ,no never has this happened before but im never there more then 2 hrs for dental work) at this point I tell her to get it over with im not pissed and wanna get out of here between being hurt and poked so many times. So she does the molding cementing and the whole 9. Thats okay im fighting through the pain. Okay so now shes making sure i can floss it. She puts the floss on my toot and pulls so hard she hurt me to where i jumped and shut my mouth. My gum was so sore from how hard she pulled the floss theough there i knew there was blood. After i said something the second time she was easy. Okay awsome. Finally its time to ho and im trying to get the hell out of here by this time.Im so disappointed in this place. Ive never had a bad experiance with a dentist till today. The only reason they got 2 stars is because the desk lady and tech were awsome. I felt forgot about in the back even though i was an emergency apt. I spent my whole day here to be hurt, poked, and roughed around. I will never go back here. They lost my business.

Hands down the best dental practice in the area. All my procedures have been 100% pain free, the doctors are well trained and professional. My entire family is very pleased with the practice. They offer in house financing as well.I highly recommend.

Receptionist/ finance manager was wonderful she apologized for the wait ,letting me know how much longer the wait would be. Dentist, X-ray and dental hygienist were informative and patient. I believe we have found our in network dental clinic! Loved the up to date equipment!

Most horrible experience I have ever had going to the dentist. They did not even do a full exam on all my teeth. Only looked at the one given me the pain. And I was told by everyone there they had financing options. Which can be a good thing but it seemed Finance was the only thing they were worried about. I left feeling like they didnt have my best interest in mind. Only how much money they can make and of course they had finance options. And I am sure when a patient tells you they have sensitivity to cold you dont then freeze a cotton strip and then but it on there teeth. Never ever in my almost 44 years have I had a dentist do this to me. Made no since whatsoever.

Dr. Pulled out my wisdom very easily and was painless, it was my first visit and will be coming back with the family

Had to get a porcelain filling on my lunch break and was able to finish in a decent amount of time. Usually I have a hard time getting numb on my left side but Dr. Homerstad was able to get my tooth numb the first time with little pain. (Which is good because I hate needles)

Worst place to get work done Kahn was horrible had 6 crowns done they guaranteed 5 years,,,well getting the 3rd crown redoall 3 had broken,,im the process of a lawsuit!!!!!

This place wanted to charge over 100 dollars for nitrous during a procedure. When I explained to them I had never paid this amount before in the past at other dental practices they were quick to respond that was the average price in this area. After 2 hours of being there and x-rays being done the cleaning of my teeth still have not even started. During those two hours all that was explained was the amount of money the treatment plan, they suggested for me would cost. I declined their plan and explained to them I felt as if I was at a car dealership and they were pressuring me into making purchases that were not really warranted.Upon my departure the financial advisor, explained to me that since nothing had been done there would be no charge. There was no charge but they did in fact bill my insurance company.I did find a new dentist who does use nitrous and the charge is 36 dollars not 100 plus dollars. The dentist does present himself very professional, and the practice is and equipment is new and very high tech.I would not recommend this practice to anyone. The front desk is loud and unprofessional. It was as if they were at a high school lunch table and had never worked in a medical setting before.

This staff is fantastic! Dr. Homerstad and his team are caring and gentle. THey let me know all my dental needs and insurance coverage before they started treatment. My payment plan was easy to understand with a low monthly cost. I recommend this team to EVERYONE ten times over!

*****WARNING********Do not go to this office!!! The front desk is rude and I am being charged for things that were NOT COMPLETED!!! And my crown fell off within two months!!!

Back in 2015 they had fixed a chip on my tooth which was on the side of my tooth so the day before yesterday I noticed there was a tiny piece missing from the filling which Im guessing it chipped off it wasnt very noticeable but I decided to call them because I didnt want it to get worse and maybe it had some kind of warranty so when I spoke to them they told me to come in it was at no charge so I went in and they tell me its $114 to get it fixed didnt want to argue so I said fine I dont want the chip to get worse she had me sign papers she told me i didnt have to sign for anaesthesia because it shouldnt hurt because its a small procedure. So the lady that was putting the filling In my tooth somehow decided to drill a square off my tooth not even in the area it was originally at which hurt while doing it then when she put the filling asked me if it was ok so I look at it and it was hideous she even accidentally scraped part of my other front tooth which i cant proove because they didnt take a picture of that tooth before procedure. So i told her I might need anaesthesia because it hurt so she questioned me if it hurt the whole time or just a couple of seconds i told her a couple of seconds so she said if i can handle it with out anasthesia I said ok so she re did it and it hurt so bad I wanted to cry I felt tortured I just wanted this whole thing over and done with so when she fished I still wasnt satisfied and all i told her after i finished it was ok with an upset face she told me if I wasnt happy for me to come back so when I got home i looked in the mirror inside my car since there was better lighting and it was very obvious so I called the office and let them know I wanted it fixed but with the different dentist so I went back and the other dentist fixed it. I told him much better then before. I left the office Im still very upset because I can still see where the area of the filling is, but what can I do I dont want to go back to them and get my tooth ruined even more that what it already is.A tooth is not like hair if someone cuts a piece it grows back teeth dont its perminant!

I regret coming to this place. The Orthodontist is in the office ONLY twice a month prior to that it was only once a month and for how many patients? Therefore if you need to cancel and reschedule an appointment it will be a month and a half to two months before you can get back in. That is insane!! There is no flexibility. If my son does not get in this Friday to get his his adjustment then he will have to wear the same bands and wire now for 10 - 12 weeks! The max I thought was 6 weeks. That is insane and whats even crazier is they are still charging me. Also Tammy is the worst person to deal with. I have gone round and round with her and absolutely no help. I had to call my insurance to figure everything out. What is Tammys job again. This is just a horrible place. Never again for any of my family members.

Dr. Kahn has a calm, confident and supportive approach to helping the patient make difficult decisions on dental care. You can feel her genuine care and compassion!

They cured my anxiety and this is the only place I will go to. The staff is awesome and the Dr is amazing.

I would not recommend this place at all twice now Ive had to sit over 30 minutes to wait on to get my teeth Cleaned. Unless You dont have a life I would not recommend this place at all.
