Can’t say enough about how AMAZING the ladies at Wig Allure are! Such a great and positive experience. Like most of their customers, I had lost the majority of my hair due to illness and it was the most emotional part of what I went through with my disease. Leading up to the appointment I was felling stressed, scared, and feeling down. The moment I got there they made me feel so welcome! They brought me to my own room and sat me in a styling chair where you try on wigs. They made the whole experience so much fun! I felt like I was playing dress up with my girlfriends. AND the quality of the wigs and other hair pieces were so life like. Every wig I tried on looked so real and beautiful! I sent a picture of myself wearing the wig I picked out to a few friends and not one of them knew it was a wig! I love this place so much that I travel from a different state to just see these wonderful ladies and their amazing products.

4/10/20I had purchased from another seller right as the virus was becoming prominent. A terrible thing indeed unfortunately as a result I was rushed. I walked out with a beautiful piece but without real confidence in application which in turn made me sad. I am experiencing thinning hair loss known as scarring alopecia so this is all very new to me. With no confidence and frustration my beautiful new topper has been sitting in the closet. So I decided to read some reviews and I came across Wig Allure. I knew as everything else it was going to be closed but I went on the website and I left a message. It must have been midnight and I got a reply back in 20 minutes! Nancy would call me the next day. Which she did!!! She guided me to set up a video chat. Meeting her via video chat was great. She was very patient with me even though I had much distraction in the background. I highly recommend if you need any assistance to get in touch with Nancy at Wig Allure. Honestly I still need more confidence and practice as with everything in life! BUT,If you need questions answered or need to be shown something (wig related!) Nancys doing video appointments so give it a go. Shes kind and Shes great. Thank you Nancy! 💕

My mom recently was at Wig Allure to purchase a new topper for her hair as her hair continues to recede and required a larger piece. Nancy was very nice and was prepared with a piece that matched my moms color exactly. It looks very natural and my mom is very happy.

I meant to write this sooner! My friend and I have purchased several wigs from Wig Allure, and we are both very happy with the fabulous wigs, and the wonderful, professional staff, too. There is a great selection here. It is easy to get to, with lots of free parking right outside. Yes, there are cheaper wigs online, but do not be fooled. When you purchase online, you cannot judge the fit, nor the quality.......both are very important if you want to look good in your wigs. There are always some wigs on sale, too. I am about to go there again this week to have one wig cleaned and set, plus buy a new one, too. This is a super fun place to visit, so do check it out soon!! You wont be disappointed.I wanted to write a second review here, to reflect my second purchase, but I have been unable to do so! Odd...Anyway, so here is an addendum to my first great review: I bought a second wig for myself, a long blonde one, and it is SO gorgeous, so real-looking and feeling, that I get many compliments. I really look fabulous in this one as well as my brunette wig. You cant go wrong here - check out this store now. I am not a chemo patient - I wear wigs for sheer FUN!! And, it is so much fun, too!!

Best place for wigs, hair cuts, cutting your own wigs to fit you better. They are wonderful people. Bob and Kathryn are awesome. They look at your face and when they pick a wig and put it on you....you say ..omg.. thats me when I had hair. They know what will match your face and skin tone. Im always here with my wigs. Awesome, if I could give more stars I would.

I would recommend these guys to EVERYONE they worked with me over and over until I was happy and understood how to use my wig. Each time I came in they let me know I could come as many times as I needed.

Best place to buy wigs on Long Island. I have been coming here for 3 years since I lost my hair. All the staff is great and super attentive. Just stop in you will not be disappointed :)

Met with Danielle today and she was absolutely amazing. Made me feel perfectly at ease, helped us find a great wig within our budget that matched my previous wig which was damaged and also showed me a few additional styles to get some different ideas. Will definitely be returning when money is less of an issue for additional products.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Wig Allure. The staff and owner made all of my insecurities melt away. They are so accommodating and work around your schedule, not around theirs. I have been going for a few years now and whenever you walk into the store it is like you are visiting family. Their pieces are high quality just like their service. I highly recommend them!

My wife and I stopped in to find a wig since she is about to undergo chemo treatments. When we asked if they took her insurance, we were told no and dismissed. Now we have the money to pay for any item selected and fitted but to treat a potential customer like something stuck to the bottom of your shoe is no way to act. My wife went to our car with tears in her eyes due to there behavior. There are other places with better help, environment, and overall class. I hope this place never makes another dollar

Went to pick up my wig and as I was leaving the store decided to check on it. Without ever calling me they took it upon themselves to give me a different wig entirely thinking I would not notice. Thank goodness I did not leave that shop. Very bad business practice entirely unacceptable

I been coming to wig allure forever and theyre the best place specializing in natural hair loss. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for beautiful wigs. Nancy is an awesome hair stylist.

In response to why I gave a one star rating:I was recommended to Wig Allure through my hospital in preparation for chemotherapy, I made an appointment to be fitted for a wig. The stylist was very friendly and welcoming. When I told her I was interested in a human hair wig, she asked what my insurance was and told me that my insurance covered x amount. She wrote that amount on a claim form that I would later send for reimbursment. In trying on wigs, I was very uncertain about how they looked. It was a new experience and I did not love any that I tried on, but I was assured that the one I thought was the closest to my own hair, could be highlighted to look like my natural lighter color. I told her that I was concerned that the hair was much thicker and there was so much more of it than my own fine hair. She assured me that after it was highlighted, the bulk would be removed and it would be framed to my face to look more natural. When I went back to pick up the wig, it was actually DARKER and more unnatural than before. The same stylist used thinning shears to cut the bulk out. It was not looking any better and I asked her to leave it as it was. I was upset knowing that now it was altered, I would be stuck with it and wouldnt have insurance to cover a new one. She put the $1500 wig in an old box with a mismatching lid. She was nice as could be, but with something that expensive I expected more care with how it was handled. I made an appointment to meet with the owner, and when I called on the day of our appointment to say I was held up at a doctors office and running a little late, I was told that the owner wasnt in that day because she had a family emergency. I understand that things come up, but I dont live close to the store and I would have appreciated a call rescheduling the appointment. The stylist who I talked to was very professional and told me that she didnt want me to have a bad experience and that she would take care of the color. I went back and the color was much better, but when I took it home I was not comfortable enough with it to wear it in public. I ended up purchasing a couple of wigs online that look completely natural and give me the confidence to go out without focussing on my hair. What made the whole experience even worse, is that the insurance did NOT cover the amount I was told, but only half that amount, so I was responsible for paying out of pocket for something I wouldnt even use and sits in a box in my closest. I called the owner to say that while I understood it was ultimately my responsibility to have checked the coverage, I felt misled being given a figure by her employee that was incorrect. I never give one star rating, but I was very upset with this experience during a very difficult time in my life.

I was recommended to Wig Allure from a friend who has been very happy with them. Due to a medical situation I am going to lose my hair and needed a wig. I walked in to the store and met Cathyrn and she was so nice and caring and only wanted to find me the best Wig possible. I was there for hours and tried on several wigs many times and she had a smile the whole time. This medical situation has made me very emotional and Cathyrn saw how hard this was for me to do. She was so patient and attentive to me and helped me pick two beautiful Wigs and made sure I understood how to care for them. They even customize,cut and redo the Wigs if needed. I also want to say the entire staff was so nice and accomodating as well. I would recommend Wigs Allure to anyone who needs a Wig for any reason based on my experience. Thank you Cathryn and Wigs Allure staff for helping making a very difficult time for me so pleasant.
