Reuland & Turnbough is a most amazing funeral home. I have been through death in the family before but never actually in charge of the details. After I contacted them it was incredible how everything fell into place, from the care of picking up my husband to the steps in between nothing was missed. The care and reverence that was shown was 5 stars. The gentle nature of everyone surrounding the process was such a comfort. They thought of everything and respected my wishes and even made suggestions I didnt know to ask. Their services are so far above other places and they care, they genuinely care... They are respectful of your financial situation, nothing is pushed. I cannot recommend them enough.

There are not enough great words to describe or relate to you how very pleased we as a family were with your handling of my mothers funeral plans. Kim, (Kim Placentino, Director of Community Relations, Reuland & Turnbough) was our go-to person and she handled every detail perfectly. It was a tough time for my family, losing our mother. And my mother planned every detail with Kim prior to her passing. Kim stuck to that plan every step of the way. She made it very easy on us knowing what we were going through. Reuland & Turnbough Funerals of Lake Forest are truly unique and amazing! I attended the funeral of a close family friend, and it was one of the most memorable I have ever seen.The visitation and reception were held in a charming venue with personal items on display depicting the life and passions of my friend. The funeral home brought in McDonald’s coffee and doughnuts from my friend’s favorite shop, since that was his everyday routine. Because his Italian heritage and gardening were so important to him, Italian music played in the background, creative vegetable bouquets were used as centerpieces. This attention to detail and his life truly honored the life he lived.Eli, Chad, Kim and the staff were outstanding. They were compassionate, kind and catered to the needs of all family and guests. Thank you, Reuland & Turnbough, for providing such amazing care!

If you havent met Chad Reuland, Eli Turnbough or Kim Placentino, at Reuland Turnbough you arent living....hahaWe met Chad, Eli & Kim four years ago and right away they treated us like part of their family. At one of the most vulnerable times of your life, you need people that have patience, people you can rely on, and more importantly people you can trust. They are compassionate, considerate and go above and beyond with all the personal attention to detail.Unfortunately, our family has experienced a lot of sadness in the last several years, I do not know what we would have done without Chad, Eli & Kim. They really made each experience special. Seriously, they got us through all the tough times. Without their support, we would have had such a harder time dealing with all of the logistics.
