My friend aka trainer has been taking me there for the last 3 days I got so addicted to working out I dropped my membership at the tanning salon and started up one here bc I can work out and tan afterwards I love it

I recently joined and my only regret is that I didnt join sooner!! Super clean and the staff is beyond friendly. They have tanning beds, water massage beds, showers and state of the art equipment. Zion is my personal trainer and he hooked me up with a 5 day a week routine to help me achieve my fitness goals. I appreciate the time he spent with me today. I highly recommend Planet Fitness in Lake City, FL for all your self care needs!

Good, clean Planet Fitness. Tractor trailer, RV parking next door. You can even stay the night. Several chain restaurants within walking distance. If I I remember correctly theres a Walmart & Lowes within a few blocks, easy in & easy out. Not far off I-75.

There is a tall fat girl with short black hair who works late overnight (10:30 pm or so) and she was extremely rude to me for absolutely no reason. It was so bad it almost made me consider cancelling my membership. Her attitude should be looked into as it was genuinely ridiculous and unacceptable. Most of the other staff I have encountered here are really kind and caring. Thats why I was so shocked to meet such an unsavory individual in the no judging gym.

Pretty new looking Planet Fitness that isnt too viewable from the main road off the exit. Thats the only downfall. The gym itself is extremely clean, laid out well, and doesnt get too busy. Has massage beds, tanning beds, and hydro thereapy beds as well.

No hot water! I recently joined and I workout early, then I have to go to work. So on my second day...NO HOT WATER! I left it running for 5 minutes still no hot water. So I risened as best I could under the freezing water, dried my hair, put on make up and got dressed....still no hot water!I went to the front desk the young girl was bothered by my question as to whether hot water would be available as she drank her hot Coffee. and told me if I have a problem with it to call the manager.I have an office job and I live in the country, so I dont have time to go home to take a shower..I was contacted by the Assistant manager who said they had their maintenance person checked the hot water and it was working. I went back a few days later and the hot water worked.

Love the 30 minute circuit. Especially the stretching bar. Works perfectly for me.Staff is friendly and helpful.

It has a good crew of people.Kenny and the other members are very personable and helpful.

Get place to workout very clean facility with friendly staff members. I wish they would replace the scale in the mens locker room but was told by staff that they are moving away from that...not sure how you are able to measure progress but oh well the scale at publix it is.

Very well laid out floor plan yet. I like that there are a lot of windows to let the natural light in. Reception was very professional and warm.

Friendly staff, super clean, great atmosphere! I go 3 times a week and never have an issue using equipment due to crowding. I love this place!!

I visited as a guest and the staff was informative and friendly. There are several of the same work out machines and equipment so that you dont have to wait a long time to use a specific piece of equipment. There are several lockers, the bathrooms are very clean and there are places to shower and change your clothes. There are TVs and a variety of music playing. There are plenty of cleaning stations to make cleaning equipment easy before and after use. Plenty of hand sanitizing stations. Masks required in the building except for when youre on a machine or actively working out at a station. There are signs to distance yourself from others on every other treadmill, elliptical, etc.

Really good place to work out. Enjoy Mother/Daughter workouts the best! The only complaint would be that the apps to keep track of my progress is not compatible with Droid Z... Not a big deal though.

Its a great place to workout. The machines all work plus there are more then one. So no one has to wait around to use them. Theres even room in the back to do floor excercises. The showers are nice and spacious, and clean. The staff are absolutely the best always kind and courteous.

Hidden from the main road bit well worth it. WiFi, nice showers, water filling station.

I had stopped frequenting my gym as a result of the pandemic. I have been staying isolated, sanitized and exercise at home or on a trail. I tried to freeze my account to no avail and was even past due for my yearly renewal. I had accrued four late fees and I did not wish to renew but was automatically renewed and expected to pay. With the late fees and renewal, it was a hefty hundo on the wallet. Thats where Kenneth, a planet fitness associate succored my predicament! Kenneth was amiable, sincere, and helpful. Kenneth went above and beyond the call by getting all four late fees waived and by canceling my automatic renewal. Kenneth saved me one hundred dollars overall and I am very grateful he works for Planet Fitness! I canceled my membership due to the global circumstances but rest assured I will sign up when things stabilize. His customer service skills outshined many at the lake city establishment and we need more people like Kenneth in the customer service industry. A paragon of what a gym associate should be, Planet Fitness should train people under him and give this man a pay increase! Bravo Kenneth and keep up the good work!

Busy gym, but clean. Staff was nice although the only drinks available was water.

The facility is almost always clean and well organized. It is large enough to accommodate the number of members. It has a very nice variety of equipment.Some of the staff could stand to be a little more attentive at times.

Nice gym as far as equipment goes but for the most part terrible customer service from the staff & it starts with the manager who seems to be somewhat prejudice & filters its way down - whatever you do dont make a complaint as the manager will take it personal & stop talking to you - & yes it has happened to me - childish behavior at best.

I have visited this PF a couple of times. I always go late at night after work. I understand the mask thing. But whenever there are a total of five people in the entire gym, 2 employees, one girl flirting with one of the employees, and two people exercising. Instead of letting me in to exercise when I forgot my mask, I was approached rudely saying I couldnt come in without my mask. Well I have seen others come in without masks on other nights but nothing was said to them. I am from out of town working in the area and decided that I will just work out at the hotel and skip tanning. I have only been a member for about a month and wish I never would have joined. I only joined so I could exercise and tan while I travel for work. I would post a pic of where I checked the crowd meter and not a single bar shows up...NO WAY THAT I WOULD HAVE BEEN CLOSER THAN 6 FT TO ANYONE

Plenty of space at this one, Lake City, Florida. I notice the staff doing a lot of sanitizing every time Im there.

The center is clean, broken or worn parts on machines or benches are always replaced. Staff is always greeting with a smile and helpful. Just a great atmosphere to workout in.

I like it.The only issue I have, and to me it’s a big deal and a no-brainer, is that you have 6 benches that are incline adjustable and only 1 that is flat. Like I said, it may be insignificant to some people, but those incline adjustment benches are not cool for doing chest press exercises when you’re trying to utilize them in a flat bench press. The gap is way too big and creates back pain, and it’s not cool and super inexpensive to remedy. Can you get a couple more flat benches please?

Just got of the phone with the General manager dynasty. I’ve never had such poor customer service and such an inconsiderate rude tone from dealing with an issue from management before. I don’t recommend going to the establishment. And hopefully you don’t have any problems because clearly the general manager is not open to help you!!

I got kicked out for lifting 20 pounds.

Was going to rejoin but decided to read the terms and conditions. On the other hand they have a month to month membership option that they didnt have when I joined.

Gym was nice and the people here were so nice. However the gym worker was less than. He was the bare minimum helpful at best. The deep tissue chair creaked and groaned like it was going to break with me on it.

Friendly staff, clean facility, men’s locker room small but set up well, very clean. The locker room past the wet sandal test! Ex. Take a shower and look at the bottom of your sandals after walking to the locker, not hairy or other debris on soles in my mind is good.

Best planet fitness gym

I have nothing bad to say about this place. The staff is always so friendly and accommodating. Always having smiles on their faces. They keep the place VERY clean.Kevin always says hello to me by name. Makes me feel that hes taken the time to know my name so he can greet me on a personal level.I have been a member for over 3 years now and i have been able to shed of 88lbs!There is never any problems of needing to use the LUNK alarm. All members of the gym are respectful of each other. Bathrooms and locker rooms are SPOTLESS! I thoroughly ENJOY coming 3-4 times a weeK. Keep up the great work PF in LC!

In order to take a hot shower in the mens locker room,turn on both the first and second shower to hot. If someone is already showering and gets finished,ask them to leave it on. If your trying to get hot water using only one shower,it wont work. Must be some kind of flaw in the plumbing ? You would think the owner get this repaired ? Everything else is very good,especially the manager and her staff. Very down to earth,nice people at this club.

Read the fine print before you join, they charge you a annual fee two months after you join on a day which is only viewable if you click on something thats not a giving. FYI if you own a join your employees should a least work out some.

This gym helps to maintain my sanity. I feel totally comfortable working out here. I like the 30 minute Express.

Great place to work out. The staff is very friendly with out being intrusive. All the equipment that Ive seen or used is in good working order. Not one machine broken in a gym, quite impressive. For five stars they should redo the showers. There are two changing stalls and three showers. I just go done to the truck stop and grab a shower there.

Always clean, super nice, helpful staff. No one cares what youre doing so thats nice. Busy times vary but even if it is busy, theres enough machines, weights ect to go around! Love the aqua bed! So relaxing after a hard workout. Got my son to join! Good prices too!!

Good to park rig by movie theater :) nice tanning and locker rooms...but....No hot water in showers...Only complaint but its a big one. I see 7 complaints about this going back to last year...And nobody has addressed it?! Thats pretty bad PF.

This gym is great! 24 hours so no excuse for not working out. All the equipment is in great condition and the staff is super friendly. Put in the headphones, and go to work!

Staff is the best part of this establishment. They are very supportive and pleasant at all times.

The enviornment here is really comfortable. Most of the time I feel really insecure at a gym, like everyone is watching, but thats not at all how PF is. I can truly say I feel more comfortable here than anywhere, and more happy working out here than at home.

Awesome environment happy people. My sister is a black card member and Im a guest just to try it out but no one gives either of us a hassle about me going to work out every single night. Ive been to other gyms that guests could only come once or maybe once per month. I will def be getting a black card just to use the hydromassage beds I cant wait. Plenty of space and machines well ventilated and great temp control.

Great place for fitness excercises. Where else can you go for $10 a month, no contract, to exercise 24/7.
