This is by far the best urgent care in town! Friendly staff, so caring and might I mention, Fast!!!! Dr Smeck has great bed side manners and very patience. Definitely a 10 star in my book!

Yall are really excellent. Every single person I dealt with from the receptionist to the NP were all friendly, excellent, and caring. In light of the massive amount of stress and work theyve been under during a pandemic, I was so impressed. I want them to know my entire family appreciates them so much and we are so grateful for them.

Waited over an hour in my car last Sunday afternoon…then 15 minutes inside… then an hour being served. I turned off the overhead florescent lights, laid the table out flat and “rested”. They were so busy… it was worth the wait for antibiotics and cough syrup. I’ll go back!! They are honestly one of the best care in town!!

The staff was kind and courteous. I came in with an allergic reaction that covered my face in a burning rash. Everyone was understanding of me holding my mask over my face so that it wasnt irritating my face. The lady at the desk even tried to help me by giving me a different mask. Service was exceptionally quick. Im feeling much better.

I’m visiting from out of state and had need for treatment of a throbbing ear ache/infection. The front intake staff were engaging and helpful. The two clinicians, Molly and the PA Colleen, were absolutely awesome. I truly felt very cared for. Even though the Center was very busy, I never felt rushed along. When you place my visit in context with the normal daily patient needs and then add the Covid Delta Crisis on top of everything, these medical professionals were absolutely outstanding! I like to say that they are literally “Doing the LORD’s Work”, 🙏 and doing it exceptionally well. 👏

I’m from out of town and was looking for a place to be seen! One of the cleanest friendliest places EVER! They treated me like family, and not a patient! I went in for a sinus infection, I was given heavy antibiotics with no instructions on how to take with my current daily medications along with no instructions for the antibiotics. Went back 2 weeks later,( I just started taking the meds a week after prescribed due to pharmacy being out of meds) stating that the antibiotics made me feel funny. After a debate with the NP she changed my antibiotics andtold me to call my Dr to make sure I can mix these antibiotics with my daily medications. Im now dealing with a terrible yeast infection because at no point was I instructed to take Probiotics while taking the antibiotics.

Everyone was top notch. All of the staff were friendly, compassionate, and very helpful and attentive. I couldnt ask for better care.

Thank you for keeping me isolated and safe although you had multiple Covid-19 patients come in to the clinic while I was there.Your radiology staff was excellent as y’all found that my ankle was sprained and not broken. I also appreciate being put in a different part of the facility from the sick people. I believe that you all did an excellent job. The walking boot for my foot/ankle injury is helping me with mobility. I appreciate all of the staff. This was my first visit to your facility. I will return.

Very helpful and nice. My mom was sick with a bad headache and as soon as we went they took her immediately, gave her an IV and did some blood work and even though she wasn’t feeling good from the IV By the time the bag was empty she was feeling way better and her headache was gone. They called me and called my mom twice checking up on her and while in there they were checking on her a lot, very good service!!

Whenever I go to this Urgent Care wait time is minimum. that doesn’t mean there are no patients. Nurses and Techs are knowledgeable and helpful. All the doctors are very good. They actually listen to whatever I say which is what a patient needs. Facility is very clean. They have have X-ray and EKG machines and they draw blood and send to the lab rather than sending patient to the lab. They call back with the result too and refer to specialist if needed. I highly recommend this clinic.

Whew. This place is by no stretch of the imagination a life saver.

Friendly staff. Does not look as though they are taking proper covid-19 precautions. They are leaving everyone in the waiting room with patients that may have covid-19 and are symptomatic. No gloves being used by front desk person. No clear enforcement of mask wearing or social distancing. No clear sanitization of pens or items used by patients upon check in.

We were visiting from out of state for my brothers wedding when my daughter got sick. Lake Charles urgent care saw us quickly, were thorough and all staff were welcoming! Wish we could take this clinic home with us. We appreciate the care and patience you had with us!

The staff does not listen to what you are asking. They insist that you are trying to ask questions that have nothing to do with what you need to know. They tried insisting that my son had different insurance than I. He is and has always been covered under my insurance. The front desk clerk insisted that there was no one there above her for me to speak with in order for me to get the insurance situation straightened out. They charged me 4 times the amount above the amount they are contracted with my insurance plan. They have refused to reimburse me for the amount that they wrongly charged me. The front desk clerk was extremely rude by cutting me off when I was trying to speak, she lied to me multiple times, she spoke down to me in front of her coworkers and other patients.The service here is horrible and again they do not listen when they have wrongly charged me. They apparently have the attitude that they do not need patients, the patients need them and they have made themselves incapable of providing proper care.Also, I brought my young son in and they said he had strep throat and ignored the facts that he had the symptoms of phenomena. They sent my son away with phenomena and didn’t treat him for it.

Best experience ever! I went in super worried about my arm, but the staff were all so, so friendly, reassuring, and professional. The doctor I saw took time to examine me, explained her thoughts behind the plan of action she wanted to take, and answered all of my questions and concerns. Her recommendations had my issues clearing up the same day, and had me feeling much better. I was in and out of their office in under an hour, and on my way to feeling better! The following day they even called to check on me, which for me, is unheard of. They definitely go above and beyond, and I definitely won’t hesitate to use them again. After weeks of not feeling well, believing I was being repeatedly exposed to some crud, and spending all weekend in bed, today I went to Lake Charles Urgent Care on Country Club Rd., and oh my goodness! I am so glad I went to that location. I read reviews for all the Urgent Care facilities from Moss Bluff throughout Lake Charles. This one had the best reviews, so I confidently sought their care. From the first contact to the last interaction, I was treated with kindness & consideration. The treatment by the nurses and Jared, the Nurse Practitioner was exceptional and observant. And this evening I feel so much better! Now that I have found such kind, compassionate care givers, I will not hesitate to seek medical care.

I have had such good experiences with this urgent care. The staff is always friendly and helpful which is extra nice when you or your child arent feeling well. I saw NP Pike Pickett this week and he was great; attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, very pleased with my visit and on the mend thanks to antibiotics prescribed.

I sprained my foot a month ago. I turned the wrong way & immediately knew I hurt myself again. This urgent care is GREAT!! The nurse that took my vitals was awesome & made me laugh (some of the best medicine ever). The nurse that took my x-ray was great & nice. Kristen H. was the physician I saw & she was excellent & very nice for me being so hardheaded during my visit. The sweet women at the front desk were awesome as well (there were 2 women at the front desk). They all made me feel like I was important to them. I wish I would have gotten all of their names. Great group of people.

I went to the hospital and got x rays and was told I was fine and would be heeled in a week. I was feeling worse in that week and went to urgent care and they immediately seen it was bad. They did x rays immediately and found the break. The level of kindness and compassion all the employees I dealt with was something I don’t feel anymore when going to a doctor. This place is amazing

Great care! Never felt rushed even though it was the end of business hours.

This facility completely misdiagnosed my Broken hand. After x-rays, they put me in a wrist splint even though I made it clear, there was no wrist pain at all. After seeing a specialist on my own, it was revealed my hand had 2 breaks, 3 fractures and a torn ligament, but no wrist problems. The useless wrist splint is costing me because insurance wont pay and urgent care cant remove the charge. Will not

My husband drove me here when I was having severe pains in my stomach. I could barely walk and my pain was between 8-10. The girl at the front desk was rude when I explained to her that I think my appendix may be the issue. My husband asked several times if we could please see a doctor to see if it was indeed my appendix so that we could figure out where to go for help. Nope, sat there for over an hour. By the time they finally took me back I was crying and couldnt really walk. Finally saw a doctor and was told to go to the emergency room. It was definitely appendicitis and was taken out immediately. Lake area hospital was my life savior they helped me the second I came hobbling in. I didnt know that it was in fact my appendix or I would have NEVER gone to Urgent care. Not everyone there was rude or anything just the girl at the front desk, she probably didnt even tell the doctor there was potentially someone with appendicitis :/

They are open on the weekends and till later in the evenings, thus saving a long & costly visit to the ER. The location was convenient, with plenty of parking, & easy access. The staff was friendly & efficient, and the facility is clean and nicely decorated.Diagnosis and treatment were accurate, she listened to what the problems were without rushing onto the next patient. I was very pleased with the entire experience. We will return there should the need arise.

Misdiagnosed a pregnant patient’s symptoms and tried to give me Zofran despite me refusing it and saying that she was misdiagnosing my symptoms.The Nurse Prac. barely looked at my chart before coming in to talk to me, so I had to repeat most of what I had already written down or told someone else. I am 22 weeks pregnant. She misdiagnosed my symptoms as morning sickness (I know she misdiagnosed me because I went to my OB the next day and he said it was totally misdiagnosed). She ordered a prescription of Zofran that I told her ahead of time that I did not want and would not take because of my medical history (multiple miscarriages in the past year) and the fact that it was not FDA approved for pregnant women. She was insistent that I take it that night anyways without my OBs consent. Even after I explained my previous pregnancy complications and that I refused to take it, she still ordered it for me to my pharmacy instead of simply writing a paper prescription that I could throw away if my doctor said no. Her attitude was frankly unprofessional. Like she had a smile and told me things nicely, but she wasnt listening to what I and my husband were saying. She felt like she knew best and was trying to rush us out the door as quickly as possible (considering we left at about 8:10). She was more preoccupied with leaving on time than correctly diagnosing a patient that was adamantly expressing that they had morning sickness in their first trimester and that these were definitely not the same symptoms as morning sickness. I was very angry and upset when I left because the treatment she tried to give me was completely wrong.After visiting my OB today, he quickly realized that I was dehydrated (for a couple different reasons), I was having a reaction to something sugary I had eaten earlier in the day, and that I wasnt eating enough protein in general. My sickness had absolutely nothing to do with morning sickness (as I had explained to her) and my doctor was very grateful that I didnt take the Zofran that they had tried to give me during my visit. He said that in the future, if I have something like this come up, go in to early labor and at the very least, they could give me an IV for fluids.

I was seen quickly by a friendly staff who was there to make sure I understood what needed to be done. I definitely would recommend this clinic to anyone who wants quick, professional service!

I was visiting my family in Lake Charles and during my stay I got sick. Based on google reviews I decided to go to this place. I paid my coinsurance and during check out I told the billing person to give me a call if there is any balance that I owe so I can pay while I’m traveling. I haven’t heard anything from them no mail, no email no phone calls. 9 months later I’m receiving a phone call from collections that I owe $35. I called back to the clinic and asked them why I wasn’t contacted about the balance, they told me they mailed the statement twice which was never received. I asked them why they didn’t call me as I requested during the check out they didn’t have anything to say. So, 2 years later I still receive advertising emails from them and the question that I still have... why did anyone contact me via email or phone call about the balance? Please remove my email from your list. If I ever go back to Lake Charles, this place is the last place I will go to!!!
