Its unfortunate that I felt compelled to give them one star, but customer service and fair treatment is important to us. My wife and I have been coming here for several years. Weve been happy with the treatment of Doctor Goldman. However, an organization is measured by the complete unit. The uncaring attitude of the front desk and Wendy the office manager revealed itself in a recent event. When things are going fine this attitude isnt revealed. It was very obvious that their only concern was money, even after they admitted to making a mistake. Wendy showed absolutely no concern of keeping us as clients, nor correcting the matter. Dr. Goldman is outstanding, but the staff is not a customer caring group. I would find another place if you desire to be treated with respect by the front desk and office manager. I will not be returning nor would I recommend this group.

It took a couple of days to think what to write until I confronted an unsettling fact: I’ve been with Drs, Goldman for so long that their son is now my doctor too! I used to be their “pediatric” demographic given their location in Laguna woods, but now I’m talking readers. All the doctors are super nice and they listen to your complaints. They’re warm and attentive. Their support staff are super nice as well. I’ll keep going their until young Dr Goldman have kids and I suspect they’ll graduate and be my doctors too. ❤️

Dr. Goldman’s office is well run. Quick and responsive service. Dr. Goldman was meticulous in getting a proper fit and prescription for both a Rigid Gas Permeable Lens and a Sleral contact lens for my special case involving a scar on my cornea. I had an excellent experience and plan to return annually.

I have terrible dry eye but after hearing tha Dr Evan Goldman specializes in treatment I took a chance. Wow what a difference. With his procedure and the daily heat I apply to my eyes my dry eye issue is improving significantly. 6 months later and I did a follow up treatment and will continue my daily routine. Totally improved my vision to where I very seldom have teary eyes where it looks like I am crying.This has been life changing when it comes to driving and being out socially

This was my first visit to Laguna Eye Care. I had a very painful eye infection. The pain was so excruciating, it hurts to make any eye movement or even to blink. I called Laguna Eye Care, and I really appreciate the staff to squeeze me in for an appointment the same day.Dr. Ruth Goldman is one of most caring, understanding, and professional person Ive ever met. She had the time and patience to answer all my questions which made me feel at ease. She even introduced me to her husband Dr. Michael Goldman, and he even had the time to take a look at my eye. I give Laguna eye care at least six of five stars. Ive been coming here for 7 years and have never had anything but an excellent experience. The doctors and staff are friendly and professional. I recently moved out of state and my new lenses were not ready when I left. They went out of their way to give me a loaner pair of glasses while my lenses were being cut to fit my frames and mailing me the new ones. The new lenses have arrived and are perfect. This is the only optometrist that has been able to get my progressive lenses correct. I will truly miss all of them.

My patronage started when I had an eye issue that would not go away after a couple of visits to a different eye medical business and I was desperate to find a solution. He was able to correct my vision to 20/20 with a special lens. I am so happy and love my contacts. Being a dentist, my vision is everything to me and he was able to help me. I can’t imagine going to any other doctor. He is just amazing!!

Dr Michael Goldman was the best eye doctor i have seen in several years. There is no comparison to the comprehensive eye exam and personal advice he gave me vs going to the box eyeglass frame stores in the malls! What a huge difference! I am confident that he gave me the absolutely most thorough eye exam and tweaked my prescription in a way that will make me come back to him for years to come. i will spread the word! Ive been seeing Dr. Michael Goldman since I move to California five years ago. I dont need an ophthalmologist because Dr. Michael is so thorough and checks everything there is to check in your eyes. Also, before I had cataract surgery he fitted my contact lenses and they were just perfect. I thought my contact lenses were fine from my previous optometrist, but he made them even better - in both vision and comfort.

I went to Laguna Eye Care per a recommendation from my wife’s friend. It was time for my annual eye exam. I met with Dr. Ruth Goldman. Her and her staff were very professional, and they explained everything they did. I wound up purchasing new frames from their optical shop, and they came in a little over a week from my visit. I would highly recommend getting your next eye exam from them. They will make you look great!

This was my first visit. I was very happy with Dr. Ruth Goldman, and the staff. I had to wait a little bit, but that gave me time to look at frames for new glasses, and I liked the choices, and was assisted and put my frames aside. When I was called back, my history was done verbally w/assistant, nice touch! All machines that were used for eye tests were disinfected, and we kept masks on. Then I met Dr. Ruth, and she was very nice, reviewed my tests, and checked my eyes, and talked about my concerns. Then I ordered my new glasses, very easy, and very nice office. I think appointments got a little behind, as there were several people waiting when I left. But I did like the office and the doctors, and felt they did a good job of keeping everyone safe.

Ive been going to Dr. Goldman for over 15 years and everytime I visit theres a new piece of equipment or some kind of new technology. Dr. Michael will always give you an honest evaluation and the best care.

Ive been coming to see Dr. Goldman for more than 15 years with always satisfaction, and trust. This is validated with the effort to drive 60 miles one way to get there from San Diego. I love Doctors Ruth and Michael Goldman.They seem to really care about your whole being including your eyesite and healthy eyes. I have been going to them for at least 15 years when they used to be in the Laguna Hills Mall. They are great a little expensive with their glasses and eye exam but it is well worth it. They are very thorough.

I was in and out of here in a jiffy with top notch care. I had a little screw come loose on a pair of sunglasses 🕶 I’ve had Costco repair a different pair before and they go through a whole deal, draw a number, wait around, shop, finally pick up eventually. Here at laguna eye care the receptionist literally stopped what she was doing Just to quickly repair them. Thank you for the speedy and courteous service 🤍

I appreciate the doctor and his services. However, I arrived ten minutes early for my annual appointment d/t my work schedule. Nevertheless, I sat waiting for over 35 minutes before the staff were ready to begin my preliminary tests. If I have to wait that long in the future, I will simply leave and cancel any future appointments for eye care. I always come on time for any appointments, and I expect to be seen within a reasonable 10 to 15 minutes. Thats what I do for my customers as well. Thanks for asking my opinion.

This was my first visit to Dr. Goldmans office and I was thoroughly impressed. From the first call to inquire about their office to scheduling my appointment I was treated kindly by friendly and professional people. My visit was also a great experience with Dr. Goldman greeting me with a handshake and smile. He was extremely thorough with my exam and explained everything. The optomitrist, Lori, was very patient and spent over an hour helping me pick out my first pair of glasses. I left feeling happy and will gladly return for future visits.

Everyone at the office was exceptionally friendly. From the receptionist, which by the way was extremely busy, however she never lost her friendliness and politeness whether dealing with customers in person or on the phone. To the person administering all the test to the Dr. I had Dr. Ruth Goldman and she was so professional but at the same time so warm and comfortable to talk to. Ive been having my eyes checked here for the last 6 years. The whole staff is wonderful and the business is run like a well oiled machine. Exams take less than 30 minutes.

9 year customer, was very pleased at every visit. Yesterday we looked at images of the inside of my eye from 9 years ago and now, quite an experience to understand whats going on as I age. Dr Goldman has an amazing memory of things weve talked about over the years and clearly cares about helping me with my eyesight and overall health. This office does so much more than provide me with the eye ware I need each year. Everyone shows they care by what they do and how they treat you. Always up to date technology to get the most out of my visit to help me with my overall health. Highly recommend not just going to get some glasses/contacts etc, but to have them on your team to manage your health over many years.

Excellent place to get contacts lens exam and fitting. They will let me try several different brands contacts lens for free for 3 full weeks, maybe partly because I needed a more special multifocal contact lens. Price is reasonable for the service you get and they will do some price match too. Very nice doctor as well.

The most comprehensive eye exam I have ever had. State of the art equipment was used to test my eyes. Some tests that I had never had before. Dr Michael Goldman took the time to explain the tests and their results so I would understand everything. Ive only been for one visit but the experience was very positive. I had high expectations (from reading other reviews) - and I was not disappointed. By far the best optometrist I have been to, and I tried a few. Very friendly people and they really take care of your eyes. State of the art equipment, accurate exams. Dr. Goldman is very easy to work with and really cares. I wont go anywhere else.
