I’m giving it a 4 because we didn’t have to wait too long for my mom’s MRI. However, As for customer service, I give a 2….when waiting at the front counter, I had to flag someone down to help me, even though they were close by, they were on computers, and I could not get them to make eye contact. The office was extremely busy and all the employees seemed very rushed, went through instructions too quickly, which makes it hard to understand with masks on, and so it is not an ideal environment for an elderly person. I think staff needs to be trained in how to deal with the elderly.

Nice employees, good technicians. Just have one item, and its the Location of facility... And parking .Need to put a big Address # on building, hard to see from street, and being inside a Bank was hard to find !! Otherwise I would have given 5 stars .

This place is awesome and so accommodating! The girls up front were super friendly and we’re not only super helpful but cordial. I had an appointment for Tuesday to do a full scan for my stomach region. I was not aware that I was supposed to fast so when I got there, the attending technician would not be able to continue with my scheduled appointment. I was a bit disappointed as it took me almost a whole month to get into the clinic as they were fully book. So I told the girls up front of how long I had to wait for my appointment. The young lady said that she would check their schedule and see what they can do to fit me in their schedule. After a few minutes and checking with their higher ups, they were able to re-schedule me for that Thursday. I was relieved to see that I could finally get my medical condition attended to with their assistance. So come the following Thursday, I was there early enough, checked in and got the medical assistance that I needed. Thank you for the fast thinking of the gal up front, they got me re-scheduled. Got my results and all is well. Thank you to the whole office for a very professional approach in handling my individual situation. Highly recommend this office for their professionalism.

It was all good well it was kind of hard for me to decide to have a male doctor or female and as having a male not president was weird but as for a female it was actually better than what I thought and her having a technique and know what she was doing was more appreciated for the fact it didnt make me feel uncomfortable so that was about the best thing ever so its a lot better than what I experienced so I will give her a hundred percent plus and some for doing a great job and I like the place good welcome people friendly just awesome and I will have to go back there again I would 👌💯🙏

The staff were very rude and unprofessional. One young receptionist kept making mistakes finding my name and kept rejecting me for not having my name and when I helped her to find it she couldnt find my insurance and was very harsh and rude and telling me you have to go home! I persisted that Ive been there before and you do have my insurance on your records. Finally she found it! But didnt apologize for her lack of experience and tone of voice.The x-ray tech was not polite and had a sharp tones when the angle position was not to his liking! He was angry and rude and not professional. This is not the first time I delt with him! Another receptionist was arguing with a client! I never had any experience like this in any imaging centers relating to their behaviors.These staff should go to a mannerism class and learn how to talk with the public professionally in any situations.

I love the fact that this office offers such late appointments. Mine was 815, and I got there at like 725pm. I was able to check in early, and go down the street to kill some time shopping. The front desk staff called me on my phone letting me know the technician was ready for me. Everyone in the office was incredibly nice! And my MRI was quick and easy. My favorite part of the experience was the medical gown. It was so smartly designed that there was no embarrassing view of your backside. I know its silly, but that always stresses me out, but luckily not this time around. Laguna Woods is a bit out of the way for me, but since my experience was a pleasant one, ill probably make my next appointment here.

The lady in grey scrubs doing the main signing in and saying goodbye was one of the nicest/politest/thoughtful persons I have had experience with in a long time. And Im old so when I say long time I really mean it.And Katelyn doing the CT scan was a #1 nurse. Would drive the 45 minutes it took me to get home from there is again if they employ those kind. God Bless them all ! And thank you!

The wait was longer than expected and. There were more people in the office than I was comfortable with. Many of the office staff were not wearing their masks correctly and it was below their nose. The tech was great and got me out of there quickly.

They NEED to make appointments for x-rays. They also need to be more realistic about wait time for x-rays. When I arrived they told me it would be an hour wait. Two hours and 45 minutes later I was FINALLY taken back. I spent LESS than 5 minutes with the technician. There needs to be a better way to handle x-rays.

It took a full 2 hours to get my child’s X-ray completed. The X-ray tech was polite and professional but did not make sure the lead drape was protecting my child because she was expected to hold it over her body with one hand while standing up for a hand X-ray.The front office staff was rude and abrupt with many patients. Several became irate and they argued back and forth repeatedly. Their check in system needs to be improved. We checked in at 11:40 am and were told the tech takes lunch 12-1pm and we’d have to wait there or lose our spot in “line.” So I sat there for 2 hours by the time we were called in. The room filled up with every chair taken and others standing around (many elderly). It makes no sense why we couldn’t leave for that lunch hour if we signed in and keep our spot rather than sharing airspace with all those irritated people. I’ll never go back there again.

I got in quickly, but then had to wait for my doctor to fax somethingover, which he did right away, but by then it had gotten crowded and I had to wait two hours to get back in. But still, the friendly staff made it all very bearable despite being there for three hours. The imaging guy was cool, too, even though he was very very busy.

The receptionist was courteous and efficient. I was called for a procedure at exactly my appointment time. The radiologist was nice and knowledgeable. He took time to explain what he was doing, and answered all my questions.This whole experience sticks out (in a good sense) compared to many other medical facilities these days.

It’s quite a busy place and they’re not careful about Covid. People needing x-rays without appointments go to the same place. Because of the crowd, they were moving people through very quickly. They said equipment down and employees missing from other locations so they sent people to this location and shut down the x-ray line even though they sent people from other locations. Lucky for me, I had an appointment and they moved me right in because I said I wasn’t waiting. They were fine for me…

Sorry forgot their names but they know what I am talking about.They phone and did the research to verify my insurance just so I did not have to go back home.They are Awesome. I had an MRI of my shoulder. The staff were very kind & helpful from the time I made the appointment. They made sure I was aware of the copay needed & helped to find the soonest time I could come in. The patient forms were sent electronically so I could fill them out at hope & check in quickly. At the appointment the front desk was sgain very helpful. The technician who took the MRI was also very kind & efficient. I had an appointment very late in the evening to accommodate my work schedule & while the area felt quite safe they made sure I made it to my car safely. A very pleasant experience overall.

I arrived a little after 4:30 PM having no idea what time the Imaging Center closed. The young lady at the front desk said there were several people in front of me and the technician may not have time. However, she did offer to go ask which I was very grateful for. She returned with a positive answer and I was brought back within minutes of filling out my paperwork.All in all, it was a very positive and happy experience.

No empathy or kind hospitality service from any o the female receptionists. They were condescending and rude to everyone, especially the very elderly. I get it that it can be frustrating having to repeat things because of elderly disabilities. Hope these young people understand that one day they too will be in the same situation, maybe worse for some. So a little kindest and respect would be really nice.

Not a great experience. Went during lunch hour for a walk-in X-ray for my 5yr daughter for not knowing that all the X-ray technicians were out to lunch. (No appointments for X-rays) Receptionist said that we can wait until the techs come back (it was 12:15pm at the time) at 1pm. But there were 3 people ahead of us so most likely we would have been seen around 1:15pm. But if we leave she cannot save our spot and would have to wait longer. So we waited and waited and waited. 2pm we were called in, rushed through and 5 minutes later, done. They could be a little considerate and maybe hold our spot as long as we came back before 1pm. Would have been a little easier our anxiety levels. Waiting 2 hours (during Covid times) for a 5 minute procedure, Really?!?

There were two receptionists. One was very nice, but the other was not that friendly and quoted me a wait time if 30-35 minutes, and I waited over an hour. She had left for the day and I asked the other receptionist how much longer it would be and she said she wasn’t sure but there were two people in front of me. I understand that it’s first come first serve so it’s going to be a long wait but I was very sad that she told me 35 minutes, she should not have called it that short of a time .I will not go there again.

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was told to wait would be an hour and a half as they were doing the work of three other clinics that have been closed that day. I actually waited 45 minutes and was in an out of my chest x-ray procedure within 2 to 3 minutes. The technician, Ryan, very friendly very confident, very competent.

Today would be the second time that my Dr sent an imaging order in, and they confirmed the order and my appointment, and then when I arrive Im told that they dont have the equipment to do the test. The first time I had to fast and do a prep so I had to go to the hospital and sit there waiting for several hours to get the test done to avoid having to do the prep again. Today I was lucky as once the technician was able to clarify with my Dr what actually needed to be done he was able to do it. The technician was outstanding. Very professional and helpful. Would appreciate if the schedulers would verify that what they are scheduling is something they can actually do.

The doctor (Vicki Porrnoff, M.D.) who took my images and the technician who assisted her were warm, patient, clear, professional, knowledgeable, and personable. I would elect to come to this facility over any I have been to in the past—and that includes quite a few sites over the years. I want to know the professional I deal with are sharp, and I want to be treated with respect and consideration. I found both at Wave Imaging. Recommend highly.

Tried to contact Wave Imaging by phone, impossible, and when you finally reach someone they haven’t got a clue. Is the place open on Saturday? They say yes, the sign at front says yes but the young lady who checks you in says NO. The actual place wasn’t bad but whoever came up with the idea that X-rays should be walk-ins should try and get an X-ray. The receptionist was nice, the technician was great. It’s the administrative people that are the problem. My wait was about 45 minutes which considering the way the place is run wasn’t too bad.

I was there before their lunch break. Front desk said it’s better to wait, so you will be in sooner. I had to wait for 2 hours to get my knee x ray. When I was asking the front desk, she was rude and said you can come another day or we can send you somewhere else, after waiting for 2 hours. First she said 20 minutes to an hour.

This facility was excellent! I came in for an MRI with contrast and I had to do an arthrogram of the hip which I was very nervous about! The front staff was friendly and helped promptly, I did not have a long wait time despite them being busy. The technicians and MD were very nice and helped to keep me calm, also they were very good at what they do and the procedure was quick. I wish I could say painless but they do a great job to keep the discomfort minimal and brief. Overall good experience under the circumstances!

My six-year-old son was sent here with Dr.‘s orders for his lungs. Our pediatrician called in saying “stat”, on the doctors note for his lungs. Orders we had said “STAT” all caps. We get there, check in we were told it’s an hour wait. Stat much?! Then after an hour went by and I asked how much longer, we told we were the next ones in. After four more people went in, I asked what was going on and we were told “oh, well they were here before you.” The x-ray technician was super sweet and wonderful I wish I could give him a high rating. There’s zero sense of urgency for a pediatrician calling in a stat order. End of the appointment it took us close to two hours. Wish I just went to the ER

I spoke with a staff member on the phone before I left to see if it was okay that I was running late, at first she said that if its more than fifteen minutes then they will reschedule, My gps said 8:15 so I was on the cusp for my 8 appointment and after talking with her she said we can squeeze you in, thankful, I drive down there only to have a different employee tell me about the 15 minute policy while the girl I spoke with sat right next to him and then lied and said she never said that. They are disorganized and liars I will never recommend anyone go there.

Absolutely unreal. I have waited a month for an appointment for something of increasing urgency. I was told by the receptionist that I could not be admitted to my appointment because I did not have a piece of paper I was apparently suppose to bring (I was never was aware of this). The receptionist was not willing to work with my doctor over the phone to help produce this piece of paper despite my primary care doctors willingness to talk to her. They would not honor the appointment regardless of the fact that all of this could have been taken care of before my scheduled appointment time. I now have to go to the ER to take care of this work since the issue is getting worse and I am out of town for the next week.I am blown away by the pure callousness of this. I will make my doctor well aware of the treatment received by this location and by RadNet in general. I also hope this review serves as a stern warning to anyone else who is considering using their services.To anyone who may read this who works at this location or within the RadNet Network: I hope you realize that your actions can literally mean life and death for people no matter where you are in the customer stream. Inaction of this magnitude can literally kill someone. Please remember this next time you turn someone away for the lack of a single piece of paper.

After reading 3 negative (1-star) reviews on Yelp, I became skeptical of this place. This was my first time to go to WaveImaging. What the reviews complained about was the opposite of what I experienced! The front desk gals were friendly; I was called into my appointment promptly; and a friendly & personable technician did my imaging. If you havent been there, WaveImaging is located inside the Well Fargo Bank building. I dont recall seeing any sign outside indicating that WaveImaging was located there. Maybe there was one, but I didnt see it. I asked an elderly gentleman if there was an imaging place inside. He said yes. I checked in at 9:50am and was out of there before 10:05am. I scheduled my appointment online and received a confirmation text almost immediately. Overall, I had a very positive experience with WaveImaging.

X-ray process and turn around time on results is fine. Terrible organization of schedules. My son and I got turned away because of their lunch hours even though I called in advance to check their lunch hours. They also turned away an older couple before me that had a hard time with mobility(shameful). People are inconvenienced and there is not a proper consideration for other peoples schedule, convenience, how long it took them to get there, how hard it was to get there or how it affects others. A mother and her daughter got turned away after me. Yet, it is a walk-in office.🤷 Bad system. They need to fix this and do normal lunch hours or appointments only during that time since their technicians take turns taking lunches. We went at 11:40 and they said that we could not get an x-ray until 1:30. Just a warning!

It was extremely busy when I walked in, and she went out of her way to make phone calls to get me an appointment. She remained calm and collective while patients were being very rude to her. Staff nice, clean. check in was more difficult because they didnt have record of my insurance approval, asked if I brought it or Id have to reschedule. I would have brought it, but all my other providers have computer access to it. they called my referring doctor and got it. But I wasnt happy about drinking 32 oz of water and told I might have to reschedule.

They run a very efficient office. There was a lot of people but my appointment was on time, no waiting. Impressive considering how doctors’ offices are always so far behind. Henry took me into my MRI. I’m very claustrophobic so when I initially went in to the MRI machine, it was not good and I started having an anxiety attack so I asked to be pulled out. Henry was very friendly and very patient with me. He tried to see if a towel over my eyes would help…. Nope . I appreciated that he actually seemed to care. I did better When I get pushed in the second time but I was glad that Henry let me take my time. He checked on me after 10 minutes then again at the 15 minute mark. I made it through the 20 minute ordeal. Friendly staff.

7.15.21- They never called, never left a message. Dont be fooled by their review follow up. They dont follow up with bad reviews.The front office is a laughingstock. If your Dr sends you here for any imaging, run away. They have no logistical experience and cannot forecast any patients. Its a waste of time. If youre older, dont waste any remaining time at a dump like thisYou have my contact information in your system, if you really care, why dont you call? Id love to explain how terrible your site is. Or you can ask your horrific staff.

I had an MRI today. I was nervous because of a previous bad experience. Henry was patient, he stopped to check on me. When I needed to stop to cough it was fine. I wore an eye mask to not see the tube as I walked in the room. Worked like a charm. Too ear plugs and a nice tech for the win.

The entire staff, from front office to the techs who perform the procedure, are unkind and curt. The front office staff (particularly a young woman with long black hair) are rude and lack any human decency. I sat waiting for 45 minutes past my appointment time and watched as multiple individuals came in to request an X-ray and have the dark haired woman tell them (no greeting or any other pleasantries) there are several other people ahead of them and the wait would be long. Many people came in with walkers or wheelchairs and her lack of compassion and kindness was astonishing.I was brought back for my MRI 45 minutes late, and the tech did not introduce himself, apologize or even acknowledge that I had been waiting for 45 minutes. He set me up on the MRI table, did not give me any heads up that he was starting the procedure, did not tell me how long each segment would be or check in at all to make sure I was doing ok during the MRI. When the procedure was over, he simply pushed back the table to release me. I was left on my own to find my way back to the changing room and ultimately the exit.

It took 45 minutes on hold to talk to someone in order to schedule my appointment, which wasn’t until more than a month later. Apparently I got a bunch of instructions over the phone, which I told the person on the phone to send to me in an email to confirm the appointment because I was in a car an unable to take down any notes. Nothing was sent via email telling me about needing to be there an hour early (why not just set my appointment time an hour earlier if that’s when you want me there?) or giving me the correct location address. I went to the location that was on the paperwork my doctor gave me and was told I had to go another location they had which was across the street. Why are they in multiple offices? Everything about how they run their operation seems completely disorganized.

Booked an appt. awhile back… had to wait 3 weeks. But checked in prior to appointment time. Waiting room was so full, thought I would be waiting forever. I was there to get an MRI. Once I got back, everything went smoothly and the technician was very kind and professional. However, I was told to show up to a 12:20 appointment at 12:00, even with me filling out the paperwork online ahead of time. I heard the receptionist say that the technicians were on lunch until 12:30. If that’s the case, why was my appointment scheduled at 12:20? I wasn’t taken back until 12:38. That was my only issue.

I was told to come in early day of MRI appointment to do the xrays doctor also ordered arrived 9:20 was able to sign in @9:40 sat down and it was 45 mins before the called me to get paperwork and ID med card, sat down and watched as others came in after me for xrays and were taken back…. It was 11:55 before I was finally called back to do xrays the room was not clean at all and machine was not working correctly tech had to reset it and still had a issue so I stood on a stool so I was in position for foot xray. After xrays I was told to go back out in waiting area and it was 12:55 ( 12:00 appointment time) before they took me back for MRI finished that and although I confirmed when signing in and also on way out of MRI I needed a CD it was not done so 45 mins later when I went in to inquire time frame they finally said they would burn one…. I left facility after 2:30 PM so basically a all day think, I will never use this company again EVER

I just had a walk in x-ray at the Laguna Woods location and had a great experience. The receptionist went above and beyond to get me in, despite my doctor’s inability to get my order faxed to them. She tried a number of options and then offered to talk to my doctor directly to get the order. She was super nice, efficient and clearly knows what she’s doing. Everything went very smoothly here to get a CT scan and injection. It was quite busy however Magdalia at the front desk went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and get things processed as quickly as possible. She was awesome. The first time I had an appointment I showed up at the appointed time and was told “I had called to cancel my appointment” which I had not done. They rescheduled me for a couple of weeks later. My appointment was for an arterial Doppler and ankle brachial an d also bilateral feet X-rays. The arterial Doppler was done, the ankle brachial study was not done due to the fact that machine was broken. I then had to wait over an hour and fifteen minutes for the feet xrays

In the bathroom there was dried feces on the toilet, trash on the floor and WATER DRAINING FROM A PIPE IN THE CEILING. It was more like a truck stop bathroom. The carpets were filthy dirty. In the changing room the hamper of old coverups was overflowing, there was trash and someone else’s coverup on the seat and an old earplug on the floor.Again, staff were kind. I was told they are trying to fix the water leak in the bathroom. Again, a small pipe was exposed and draining water. Not sure why they didn’t just keep that bathroom locked.

Absolutely horrible experience, incompetent staff, couldnt even do my wife IV Contrast, poked her and stabbed her at 7 spots for 40 minutes. Her hands were covered with bruises the next few days. Had the audacity to tell her to come another day, and that the scan will be fine even without the IV contrast , unbelievable. Scheduled another scan, was promised the result will be ready the same day, 4 days later still waiting. No one answers their phone, you can be on hold for over 2 hours, no one will pick up.Their supervisor keeps lying to me, printed old scans, trying to convince me those are the latest scans, changing the story after that that the new scans will be ready in one hour, lying to me again. This place is an absolute disgrace for the medical profession..

The younger receptionist was extremely unprofessional. The office was not prepared for my scheduled visit as they should have been. The receptionist claimed that I should have had the photos of the ultrasound on hand. When I made the appointment, I specifically asked for special instructions or if I needed to bring anything. One thing I was not asked to do is bring any pictures of previous ultrasound photos with me. So she was pushing hard for me to reschedule on the spot instead of doing her job and getting a hold of the required info. Reschedule and lose a whole day that I took off of work, fuel to drive here and valuable time. With a little persistence they were able to find what they needed in a couple of minutes. It gets better.I was later explained that they were not needed in the 1st place as they always retake their ultrasounds when the patient arrives. Really bad attitude and poor service. I left one extra start because the rest of the staff was polite and professional. Train your front line proper customer service. The last thing a patient wants is to be stressed out for no reason minutes before having a...stressful procedure done.

Everybody at this location are very welcoming and nice. The staffs at the front office are very courteous and helpful. The technicians are very knowledgeable and very patience. They took time to explain the procedures. The doctor is nice and made you feel very comfortable.I highly recommend this facility.

Walk-in for an X-ray, walk out not too long afterwards. The wait was brief, and the staff was super friendly. Ive driven past this building thousands of times since the 70s, so it was neat to finally go inside of it.

The CT processing is fast and comfortable. The technician is friendly and professionally. The only negative thing is the telephone appointment system is poor. Every time I call need hold long time even half hour. It needs to be improved!

Very nice staff. Wait was too long. The only real problem with that is that we were not told we were waiting for techs lunch. We could have gone to another place and gotten right in, which we would have done if we knew the reason the wait was so long was because they werent taking anyone due to lunchtime.

My experience at WaveImaging was consistent with safe professional care. Signs clearly indicated social distancing, everyone wore masks and staff was conscientious about following cdc guidelines. The technician conveyed a professional approach while at the same time allowed me to relax to insure an accurate reading in a timely manner.
