Wonderful experience and care. Dr. Teymoorian has been managing my glaucoma for years and when he saw my cataracts getting worse along with my glaucoma and astigmatism he suggested cataract surgery. Just had the first eye done and his surgery yielded fantastic results, clear bright vision without the need for glasses, I needed glasses ever since I was 5. Can hardly wait to get the second eye done. Dr. Teymoorian and the staff made the process really simple and I’m impressed with the results. Definitely recommend him to anyone with vision issues.

Great experience with Dr. Diane Kersten. Dr. Kersten diagnosed and explained my vision problem after extended tests during initial consult visit and explained the procedure that will correct the problem and let me know what to expect. She performed keratectomy on my right eye to remove the scarring tissue to clear my vision, 10 days ago. Right away the next day, my vision had improved tremendously. Excellent Dr. with with expert pair of hands and great bedside manner. I am super happy with the outcome of my procedure and highly recommend Dr. Kersten and Harvard Eye Associates.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes with Dr. Edward Kim, and still have a few lens adjustments to go. He was very patient with my long questions during my visit that helped to reduce my stress.  It was more difficult to pass a message on to Dr. I left messages and emailed to Drs assistant multiple times to refill eye drop but it was no response.  I was lucky to get through Briana Hagen, customer service/front desk, who proactively walked to the Dr. to get my prescription done. Thank you so much, Briana. Hope more staff would act like her to show the warm side of human feeling.5/14/2021 I finished all my eye vision adjustment today. I had a great team of doctors and their assistants for my cataract surgery. Dr. Edward Kim is a skillful, and experienced doctor with sweet and patient care. When I sat on the chair for eye adjustment the first time, my legs were hanging not touching the ground, he noticed and remembered it, he put a box as a footstep for me on my every adjustment procedure to ensure I was comfortable enough to accept the procedure. He has so many patients but he remembered my needs. Dr. Isabell Choi, was in charge of measuring my vision before each adjustment procedure. When she approached me, I felt she was just a young lady of next door, but when I asked her medical questions, she had answered for me and she would relate my concerns to Dr. Edward Kim. It seemed to me they communicated on my case before the procedure, they treated me as a person who has medical needs, not just a patient chart. From living a life with a blurry vision to a clear vision that I can finish my computer work efficiently, I feel I am reborn.

I was visited by Dr Rouhani in Harvard Eyes. I have a chronic eye condition and had consulted more than 10 ophthalmologists before in the past 20 years, but none of them listened to me so attentively and examined my condition so thoroughly.Dr Rouhani did a really great job in our first visit. She explained to me very clearly the condition with my eyes, reviewed with me the alternative options and discussed with me the path forward. While it has passed only one week since I started my treatment, I see visible improvements and I am so happy with my experience. The process for booking an appointment and the registration were also very straight forward and easy. All in all, great experience with HEA and Dr Rouhani. 🙏

The clinic is clean, practices safe distancing, staff are friendly, polite, helpful and professional. Harvard Eye offers optometrist and ophthalmologist visits. There’s a wide variety of eye glasses and sunglasses for everyone. Remember to schedule your bi annual check ups and make an appointment with the opticians and optometrists, too. Accepts most insurance plans. They require a reservation for viewing glasses. Bring in your personal glasses and have them cleaned. My only complaint is that the Ophthalmologist spent very little time and didn’t have the answer to my questions. Nice guy with limited interest in me as a patient and provided me with inaccurate info.

I changed opthamologists because I wasnt happy with mine. Always seemed like he was pushing me to only buy glasses there; he was always very, very late for any appointment (like waiting in a room for an hour?) Dr. Rouhani was absolutely amazing. She performed cataract surgery on both my eyes; my right eye had a problem getting the lens in, but she succeeded. I now only need glasses for reading VERY small print. She was patient, never hurried, answered every question (no matter how dumb it was). I always feel like Im her only patient. The staff is very efficient and also answer questions even when they are busy. Highly, highly recommend Harvard Eye Associates and Dr. Rouhani.

We have been going to Harvard Eye since 2015. Everyone there is very nice & knowledgeable. They are always ready to meet our needs, even in March & April when we had a drive through appointment in the parking garage & now when they are open again being very careful to keep us all safe from the virus. My husband began seeing Dr. Brian Kim when he had bleeding & bruising at the back of his right eye. Dr. Kim was able to heal his eye & return his sight. We both also see Dr. Teymoorian for cataracts & Glaucoma. Dr. Teymoorian has performed cataract surgery on both of us. It is wonderful to be able to see clearly again. Both doctors are easy to talk to, ready to answer any questions we have, & focused on our specific needs. We came to them with concerns about our sight & they clearly handled those concern & returned our sight. These doctors are supported by a staff that is very helpful & shows each person warmth & personal attention. I would highly recommend them.

This review is for Dr. Jeffrey JacobsThis is my second review and I have since removed my original.4 months after my surgery, three unproductive follow up visits later, my right eye is still less open than my right. I wasted many conversations that went no where because he cant seem to acknowledge my concern. Everyone else I discuss this issue with sees the difference but I found it very disenchanting that he blew me off and told me my expectations were a little higher than the norm well his should be to! As a medical provider. Even as a person! As per the visit yesterday, I felt that Dr. Jacobs was totally gas-lighting me. Took a picture of my eyes and sat right there telling me he didnt see my concern. He then informs me now we know what my concern was truly about, he could address it. He knew my concern at the second follow up and at yesterdays visit, yet, could not acknowledge it. He puts a drop of something in my eye to open it up. Even if it was a muscular thing, which I highly doubt. Admit it..I didnt appreciate the typical blanket statement from him, as well as him telling me I was still microscopically swollen and it was a muscular issue. What it is, is that you have a problem facing facts. What it is, is that maybe he didnt take enough of the eyelid. I am certainly no medical doctor but I know what I see. He then asked to see me in February 2021 further delaying the problem. I know a body has to heal but people need to know what they are getting into here. After my first review of him, he asked me to remove a part about his surgical scheduler Lori. He contacted my personal cell on the weekend, (July 11, 2020) via text and phone call to discuss my review, thus asking me to remove the part about Lori because she was about to get fired and it would be devastating for his practice if she left. First of all... people cannot get fired because of a social media platform. Second of all IF she had done her job and returned a phone call, I wouldnt have left the review about her! Third.. I frankly dont care about their personal business or relationship.. Im sure shes a lovely person and has been really good to him but I did not need to know nor do I care. The surgery part was fine. The scars are fine. But I truly feel that I got half of a service. I didnt want just one eye lift.. I wanted two. I understand everyone is asymmetrical, I understand everyone may have different expectations. What I dont appreciate or understand is why he can look me in my face and tell me he doesnt see it and my exceptions are higher than the norm. Every person that trusts their surgeon or health care provider should have high expectations. Period. And when a patient comes to you with a concern, dont gas light them. I paid for two eye lifts and I received one.

Had cataract surgery in both eyes performed by Dr. Edward Kim. Exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, patient and understanding. Complete explanation of what insurance covered and what other options were available. Waits for office visits were minimal, even when there were quite a few patients present. Front office staff were polite and professional. Pre-operative exams were thorough, operative care was well explained and completed without complication. Dr. Kim provided focused explanation of the procedure as it was happening. Post-operative care was comprehensive and understandable. Vision has returned to 20/20-20/25 in both eyes. Had a very bad experience with Harvard Eye’s Optometrists! Especially, Dr. Levi. He was arrogant when I went back to him to adjust my lenses, blamed Costco - as that is where I got my lenses. He made a minor adjustment and sent me out the door.I had the prescription filled, but it was still not the right prescription for me. Bless Costco’s Optical Department, as they did not charge me again!! I told Costco I would like to see their Optometrist, and we figured out that the Astigmatism prescription from Harvard Eye, was too strong for me! And she made a minor adjustment here and there and they are now PERFECT!!From now on, I will go to Costco for my vision exam and my lenses! They are THE best!!Very disappointed in Harvard Eye! I like Dr. Brian Kim and his staff and will continue to see him as needed. But never again will I have their Optometrists check my vision.

After researching other doctors, I ended up at Harvard Eye by a referral from a friend. I can say my experience with this center was poor to maybe slightly fair. The doctors were knowledgeable but the office staff was very poor. The surgery center was good and the surgery itself went well… but they took no responsibility for the inadequate visual conditions post operation. I experienced broken blood vessels in my eye twice and floating black spots after the surgery. They never explained any of this could happen before the surgery. I had my other eye done several years earlier and never had a problem. They also never took responsibility and charged me for the visits. You will not see the doctor who performed the surgery ever again. The people in the eye glass center are out to make big money and their lack of staffing was a big issue as well. My suggestion is go to a small practice you can trust and get one on one treatment.

The remodel is great. The Laser Center staff is amazing (they share the office with Harvard Eye). The Harvard Eye doctors (mine included and from what I hear from other patients) are good. Most of their techs are good as well. The main problem is that the front office staff of Harvard Eye is absolutely terrible. The folks that sit up there have an attitude, tend to be clueless as to what is going on, who you are, how to bill you...etc. I only come to Harvard Eye because my doctor closed his practice and joined Harvard Eye and I swear by Dr. Levy - Hes one of my favorite people in this world and hes taken care of my eyes and my familys eyes for years. The support staff, however, is terrible. Furthermore, I work in a pharmacy that gets Harvard Eye prescriptions - this place is nearly impossible to get a hold of for refills and when you tell them youve been trying for over a month they get snappy with you (not to mention that the patient is already dissatisfied that theyve waited so long for their refill or new script).anyway, I dont know whats going on over there. The professionals are great but the non-professional staff needs a training in how to retain customers through positive attitudes and relationship building. Its so bad. If you havent come here yet, just dont.

Had pink eye for the first time in my life. Some medical background and knew it was bacterial so told doc that. She ignored that and said its viral and Gabe maxitrol which is ABx and steroids. Well a week later with minimal relief, my eye got worse and weeped green stuff non stop. Had to go to ER who said drops may have only worked slightly, but steroids can make bacteria infections worse.Went to my primary care who said my eye was full of nasties and he flushed out my eye (which Harvard did not) and gave me strong ABx only drops. Worked first day! For the first time in over a week I didnt wake up to a crusted over eye. I understand they are docs and Im sure millions of people diagnose themselves, but every symptom I gave pointed to bacterial and she just said viral. As a patient, you want to at least feel heard and I can say I didnt feel like that. Now I will say that Harvard is still my main eye doc office and I see Dr. Levy who is phenomenal! This experience just caused me to feel less confident when I have certain illnesses.

Prior to the surgery I specifically told the doctor in person and in writing that I wanted to continue to read without glasses. Now I have to wear tri focials. Had the Doctor (Hovarian) reviewed my records/medications as he should have he would not have not used the fancy and expensive multi vision lenses. I am worse off.
