I just had an appointment at the doctors office and I usually do have anxiety attacks and I get very very nervous every time I have dental appointment.Fortunately my appointment went so smoothly so it made me so comfortable to deal with the situation.My fear apparently maybe sometimes in the past I had a bad experience with another dentist but as I said , Dr Reitz explained every step we went through one by one and by doing so the fact you know what you are going to go through or what the next step is it makes you very very comfortable and on top of all of that they have a massage chair, it will really distract your brain from any kind of fear or negative thoughts so it’s so helpful that it would help you to deal with your fears or in my case anxiety anywaysII thanked him for making it so easy for me.

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Reitz and his whole staff at Laguna Beach Dental Arts. Everyone there is super friendly and is amazing at their job. Dr. Reitz explains everything step by step as he is doing his work and always explains the treatment options before going forward. My dental situation was a mess before going here and he fixed everything better than i could have hoped for. Cindy at the front desk is one of the nicest people and is always willing to accommodate your schedule. I would highly recommend Laguna Beach Dental Arts for anyone looking for a new dentist.

Dr Reitz is calm and encouraging. He also called me in the early evening to make sure I was doing ok. The whole office does a good job. Anthony cleans my teeth well and Cindy in the front office is always helpful and nice.

When I relocated to Southern CA a few years ago, I had some trouble finding a good dentist. I tried a few but just wasnt happy with them. Then I found Dr Reitz. First of all, hes a very nice guy but more importantly, he knows his stuff. Ive had dental work done by different dentists (just what happens when youve lived in a lot of different places) and the work done by Dr Reitz has been excellent. He repaired a small chip in my tooth and the work has been flawless. I highly recommend this practice for their caring service and excellent work.

I’m a new patient at Laguna Dental Arts and thought I should write a review to tell how great they’ve been.I chipped a front tooth over Labor Day weekend and having just moved to Laguna Beach, I hadn’t looked for a new dentist yet. I needed to get my tooth fixed ASAP, so I did some quick google searches and found Laguna dental arts.I ended up needing a few teeth fixed as I had cracked more that just the obvious broken tooth. Dr. Reitz was really great at explaining the process, giving me options and helping me make the right decision.The procedure went perfectly and the outcome is beyond what I had expected!The entire staff is great and the office is clean and well organized. I would suggest this office to anyone that is not 100% satisfied with their current dentist.This will definitely be our new family dentist.

I am very happy with my level of dental care. Dr Reitz is professional and puts you at ease with his calm competent demeanor. He has a great sense of humor too :) His office runs like clockwork from the moment you are greeted with a courteous smile to the TLC from the hygienist. My dental file is about 2” thick so I’ve had a crazy amount of dental work done. Rest comfortably with Dr Reitz & his talented team. Plus, you get a white water ocean view as an unexpected bonus!

Dr. Reitz is a fantastic dentist! I have seen him from everything from cleanings to a crown, and have only ever received exceptional and pain-free care. Visits are always easy - plenty of parking, spotless office, friendly staff. But what really makes this practice special is the dentist himself. I can tell that Dr. Reitz is passionate about his work and his patients from the effort he has made at every single visit to take his time to be thorough, make me feel comfortable, to be gentle, and to explain what he was doing, and why. He has always clearly explained anything he has found (for example using x-rays), and been honest with multiple treatment options and his personal recommendation and why. Going to the dentist can be nerve wracking, so I really appreciate that I can trust him completely and be at ease when I am sitting in the chair. Highly, highly recommend.

I would like to start off by saying this is by far the best dentist Ive ever had the pleasure seeing. Ive moved around a lot thus Ive been to several dental offices for several reasons from cleanings to fillings and surgeries and I dont say this lightly BY FAR THE BEST. Calling to make an appointment was a breeze, I didnt wait at all, everyone was nice accommodating and professional. This is a very clean and hygienic office. I work in the medical field and can notice when something is off and I found nothing wrong here. I have severe anxiety when seeing a dentist as Im sure many people can attest to but once I was seen by Dr. Reitz I completely felt at ease and my anxiety promptly dissipated. He has a very warm demeanor, very professional and knowledgeable about his profession. I did not feel rushed or pressured. He explains everything in detail and has an amazing bedside manner. I had a million questions and not once did he seem flustered or annoyed. He gave and explained multiple options and gave me the best possible treatment better than I could have ever wished for. I truly wish I could give this place 10 stars as it deserves. If youre looking for a clean professional and knowledgeable dentist with all the professionalism and expertise in the world this is the place for you!!

This review is long overdue. Moving back to the California, I had a difficult time finding a dentist that I trusted and felt comfortable with. I was referred to Dr. Reitz by a friend and am so happy I went despite the far drive from Los Angeles to Laguna Beach.Their office is welcoming and their receptionist Cindy is the best. I immediately felt comfortable walking in on my first visit. I did not wait very long to see Dr. Reitz and was always greeted with warm smiles by all the staff. I had gone to a couple of dentists in Los Angeles, but they did not take the time to explain to me what I needed for my teeth and instead just ended up asking for a lot of money for their services. I was happy to find that Dr. Reitz took my insurance ( Delta Dental).I needed two crowns placed and was dreading being at the dentist for hours.Each visit was very quick, no more than 2 hours. Dr. Reitz took the time to explain to me each X-ray and photo that he took of my teeth, he gave me his honest recommendations on the services I would need and how much it would cost. As he performed the placement of my crown he walked me through everything he was doing so nothing was a surprise. He also made me feel very comfortable during my visit by giving me headphones to play music, turning on the massage option on my chair and offering me a blanket when I was cold. Overall, I am so happy that found Dr. Reitz and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist that is efficient, caring and skilled at what he does.

I went here recently to see Dr. Reitz to replace an old filling. I know this shouldnt really matter for a dentists office but the view is GORGEOUS--you can see the ocean from the chair. Dr. Reitz was very friendly and personable. I was seen exactly on time for my appointment but I really felt like he took his time to explain the procedure to me. The filling itself was quick, but not rushed, and pain free. I cant recommend enough!!

Went back to this dentist after not having been in 2 years. Looks like a few things have changed, seems like a new doctor has taken over this practice. Decided to give him a try since I needed a deep cleaning and one of my crowns was hurting. Dr. Reitz is pleasant, well spoken and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Very professional. Staff was friendly, hygienist was very thorough, and I didnt even have to wait long. Sad to see the previous dentist leave as its hard to find a good dentist, but Im glad to see the practice in good hands. Will be coming back here for my next 2 year checkup. Maybe sooner.
