They whole entire place is so unfriendly, and also they push you in & out fast like there always in a hurry. My doctor Mario , I ask him over 1/2 dozen of questions and same answer every time (I don’t know). He made me worse after the surgery. If I had to do it all over , I would of never had the surgery or went to Indy

This was my first visit to Dr. Gorup. I’ve had other back surgeries elsewhere. I was unclear about his diagnosis, he sat facing the computer so I could not hear him at times. He commented that I’m an old pro at this due to having so many back surgeries which is very true, however I am not an old pro with coccyx injuries. When I left I felt unsure of the diagnosis. He seems like a very good surgeon but takes time getting to know.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Dr. Gorup has really helped my pain. I recommend him to anyone with spinal issues.

I had intense upper back pain for about a month. I couldn’t get anyone to help me until I saw Dr. Brkaric. He took X-rays at my first visit and ordered an MRI. I feel like I’m finally getting the help I needed.

Dr. Gorup is always to the point and on time. I have never waited longer than five minutes to be called back. I used their on-line appointment scheduling system and it worked great. As a surgeon, he was terrific. He has a quiet demeanor that is reassuring to a patient who is nervous. I highly recommend him.

Went to get help for second opinion drove a good ways after reading online how nice of a place it was. I went there got 5mins of his time didnt go over nothing about what was on my MRIS and the extensive problems I have been having so left the same way I came no answers. Very sad they claim they can help but took no time with me.

Dr. Gorup was so helpful with information. He never pushed me to have surgery. I have had to have two spine surgeries. I feel better then I have in years. He took great care of me after surgery. Wouldn’t go to anyone else. He changed the quality of my life.

He takes the time to listen to my concerns, and treats me with respect. I also cant say enough about his staff. They are always friendly, supportive and professional. My husband Bruce was having chronic pain down his right leg and had numbness in his toes for about a year and a half. The past six months he was miserable and started seeing a chiropractor. After several adjustments and X-rays, it was decided that he needed further evaluation. Bruce saw Dr. Gorup and physical therapy was first recommended, then two spinal injections which helped, however the pain continued and with an MRI it was determined that he had two herniated discs. Dr. Gorup did surgery to relieve the pressure from the nerves which was causing the pain. Immediately after surgery, the pain was completely gone. My husband is recovering extremely well and healing nicely. Dr. Gorup was wonderful throughout the entire experience. Very professional and kind! We highly recommend him! Thank you Dr. Gorup!

Ive been dealing with severe neck &arm pain for nearly 10 months. With my history of neck &back surgery &already being fused at 1 level in my neck I immediately saw my pain Dr. I had some injections &a neck MRI. The last 3 months of 2016 my Insurance wouldnt approve anything. I started on disability this March &was referred to a spine surgeon &waited 6+wks for the appt. I was getting the run around &my pain was becoming unmanageable. Everywhere my Drs were now referring me to were scheduling 3-5 months out &most of them were not in my Ins network meaning a surgery was gonna cost me a much higher deductible + 40% of total cost.I scheduled my appt w/ Indiana Spine Center online Weds @7pm &they had available appts for Fri of the same wk. Do I not only got in to see Dr Gorup in 2 days, but they also accepted my Insurance in-network. I was impressed with the caring staff & clean facility. Dr Gorup listened to me about my issues &concerns. He was quite thorough in viewing my records, films, reports, & with my physical exam. He took the time to answer my questions &concerns as well as explaining the procedure that I need. He was very up front and honest about managing my expectations for after the surgery. Overall Im very pleased &cannot wait til my surgery next month. Ill update this with my results.
