DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! Rude and unprofessional. Horrible experience just trying to set up a ride for a medical procedure. I spoke with Christina the 1st time I called, she took all my info, except forgot to get my email to send my contract. Called back a few days later and spoke with Jenna, Executive Director. When I told her I was calling to provide my email, she said I dont have your info, Ive never talked to you before. I was immediately taken back my her less than kind response. I told her I spoke with someone at her office, and had provided my credit card number, etc. She went on with a list of excuses for not having my paperwork (clearly disorganized, Ill get back to that...). I asked what that had to do with me requesting their service. And her response was You are welcome to call another service, in fact, why dont you do that and hung up on me. I called back and asked Jenna, did you hang up on me? She said Yes, Im sick of people like you who think what they have going on is more important than anyone else. WOW, really!?This woman does not belong in any aspect of health care. Seems she would be more suited to something like a collection agent, you know, someone you would expect to be cold, heartless and rude. Please do not waste your time or money here, and for Gods sake certainly do not trust them to care for your elderly loved ones. Being as they were mean af to a 45yo woman, I cant imagine how abusive they are to their elderly clients.I went to the office the next morning to physically collect my information, as I did not trust their practices. The place was filthy and disorganized, both women looked like they needed a shower. Just plain gross.

Working for FirstLight HomeCare has been a great joy in my life!I love the relationships I have cultivated throughout the years with my clients. I have learned so much from them and I sincerely love what I do, which makes going to work something I look forward to!I have also worked in the office doing scheduling and know firsthand how incredibly warm and caring the management and office staff are. Firstlight has been indispensable in helping us with aging parent issues on several occasions, and most recently in an emergency situation where our mother and caregiver for our father had her own medical issues. They responded immediately and staff was in the home in a very short time.They are professional and run a tight ship, the caregivers genuinely care for their charges and are all self-starters, helping with laundry, light housekeeping and dishes without having to be instructed to do so.Thanks to all at Firstlight for being there for our parents during this trying time.

The compassionate caregivers from FirstLight Home Care made such a difference in the last chapter of my fathers life. He decided to stay at home in Hospice Care. At age 99, he was able to prepare for the next part of his journey made possible with comfort and presence by the rotation of great people over the last month or so. He asked for a couple by name (Evelina and Terri) but for me theyre all angels. Thank you for providing the important level of service to fill in the gaps for our family and Hospice care-giving.

FirstLight HomeCare was a place that when I initially received my CNA license I wanted to give individual treatment and not have the multiple patients like other settings. It turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life. FirstLight has supported me through nursing school and has an office staff that is very supportive and always has your back. Brian and Emily (the owners) we’re always available and truly cared about their workers and their clients by going the extra mile and checking up on a regular basis. Having a company that has the support they give from the owners, makes an awesome company to work for and makes you really feel appreciated.I am coming up on my 4th year of working here and would recommend it to anyone that has a passion for caring for other people. This job has been so rewarding.

First Light has been providing services for my 94-year father and his 93-year old wife since the end of last year and I cannot say enough good things about the service that has been provided. The care and compassion that has been shown by the care providers is outstanding. I especially want to comment on the professionalism of the Agency Manager, Lisa Terra. Ms. Terras understanding of the needs of the elderly, her ability to listen and compassion toward the elderly are heart felt . The transition to homecare providers taking care of loved ones would not go so smoothly if Ms. Terra did not have exceptional administrative skills as well. I cannot recommend First Light enough.

The providers from First Light were extraordinary in their caring and supportive delivery of services for my mother. We could not have picked a better provider. Management was both responsive and quick in dealing with changing needs over time.
