The Dog Stop does a great job grooming our dog Charlie. Setting an appointment is always smooth and the staff has always been very polite.

Every one is extremely nice and one of our babies was always afraid to be groomed, but Dog Stop was the only place able to groom her!!

I love bringing my puppy here for daycare!! He gets to play with similar pups and enjoys it every time! The staff there is so understanding and friendly. I recently bought him to The Dog Stop this week, but he wasnt as playful as he usually is when he goes, plus I barely saw him on the Pup Cams during the day staying in a corner. I expressed my concern to the assistant, Katie, during pick up. She was so heartwarming with concern that he didnt have a super playful day, that she gave him a free day and a bath to redeem it. Very loving staff and full of care. Super professional, highly recommend this doggy daycare!

Unfortunately, I only had time to bring my Kobe once before I moved however. They were so great with him! The first time was free and after they gave him a report card which I thought was adorable. Everyone I interacted with seemed knowledgeable and patient with him which made me comfortable leaving him. This is an amazing facility!

I brought my yorkie Pringle in for grooming and I didnt think they would be able to because the place I brought him before could only ever just bathe him. He hates the whole grooming process, but the dog spot had him looking so handsome. Thank you. We will be back.

My dogs first day and I’m very impressed! People are nice place is kept clean and my puppy came home happy! Also I looked several times on the pup cam and people were in and out mopping , playing , and checking on the dogs. I recommend this place thanks for taking care of Izzy. Can not brag enough about this space. The owner is incredibly invested in each dog who comes through their door. I love picking up my tired and socialized pup at the end of daycare. AND you can have your dog food DELIVERED TO YOUR FRONT DOOR! Love it!!

I Love, Love the Dog Stop! I send my boxer girl-Cali (not a puppy anymore) there for day care, for bathing and nail clipping, and also boarding. Super fantastic staff and they love the dog and she loves them! They are helpful and answer any questions I have. She loves play time and I’m sure the staff does as well. I recommend this daycare to every dog parent I meet in Lafayette. They truly care about your pets and I feel so safe dropping my dog off there every time. My Tela girl is always well taken care of. I’ve seen pics of her and seen her in video and she always appears to be so happy. This last time she was a little nervous going in and they were very sweet but direct about her anxiety when I called to check on her. She loves her daycare and I won’t bring her anywhere else for boarding. Not too many facilities are as welcoming and patient with her breed and I am so grateful for them. I would give this business 10 stars if I could. Price is also amazing. I always pay less than I expect.

Discovered this place a few months back when looking to board my dog and absolutely love them! My pup is very timid and nervous and they are so sweet and patient with her and kept me updated throughout her stay. I also recommend them for their grooming services as well!

Both of our dogs have varying social fears, one being fear aggressive and I was always scared to put them in daycare/boarding. My trainer had recommended the Dog Stop for my fear aggressive dog, to help him socialize; and even though I was so nervous about them not understanding that he just took time to warm up, I enrolled him. Within 2 weeks he was loving it!!! Eventually I brought my other dog who has terrible anxiety and she too loves it!! They are amazing and I would highly recommend them to every dog owner!

So, Ive only ever bought items and food here. Havent done any of there extra services, but my family uses them. From what I have experienced and what my family has told me, they deserve 5 stars.

Since Im at work all day, I bring my dog there at least 2 days a week for socializing and exercise. She absolutely loves it! Its reasonably priced and everyone is extremely nice and knowledgeable. The facility is in great shape with plenty of room for the dogs to run. Also great for boarding.

Great place to care for your furry friends for the day or overnight. Also, they groom your pets, on request for a fee. I feel extremely comfortable leaving my big boy there when needed. The staff is excellent!

My favorite place for grooming. Easy to get an appointment.. even same day. Prices are fair. Very clean kennel area. The groomers do excellent work on our schnauzers.Havent used the kennel for overnight, but Ive taken a tour of the pens and play areas, and Im satisfied with what they have in the event we need to use them for a short term stay.

They were wonderful!!! My pup was treated like family, and she looked so good when I picked her up. It was like her own little spa day, and everyone there sincerely cared. So with that being said this is a review of The Dog Stop from a person with a hyper critical viewpoint.The entire staff, from day one of me bringing my dog Capone in for daycare, has been nothing but kind and professional. From the level of customer service they provide it is very easy to see that from ownership down these people love what they do. If you are looking for day care services then i highly recommend The Dog Stop. I hate that we are moving out if state and leaving them. Thanks for taking such good care of me and my boy!

The dog stop is such an awesome place for my pup! He absolutely loves going for daycare/boarding! The place is always clean (and coming from a hospital background I really appreciate that), the staff is always pleasant and friendly, and the groomers always do a great job on my pups haircut! Not to mention they carry my dogs food, so saves me one less stop on my way home! Strongly recommend!!

My dog and I were escaping from the Hurricane in Houston. Cooper (my dog) needed more food for our stay in Lafayette. So, we stopped here. The facility is very clean and well stocked with premium dog food. I must say the staff is not only incredibly helpful, they are also very kind!! Cooper was a little nervous when we walked in and the sweet gentleman working at the front, gave him a little peanut butter treat to calm his nerves. They made us feel so welcome!

The Dog Stop on Pinhook is absolutely the best place to bring your energetic or even not so energetic pups. All of the staff there treat each dog with extreme care and take priority in knowing every dogs special needs and habits. The Dog Stop even offers awesome benefits like retail rewards where money spent on items like dog food can add up to free days of daycare and boarding. My dogs love playing and hanging out with the staff at the Dog Stop.

Love this place! Its big, clean, and the staff is very helpful. I really like the referral and rewards programs. You can get a free day of daycare after buying a few bags of dog food. Would highly recommend.

I just stopped in to look at their dog food prices. Theyre cheaper that the big stores.We chatted a bit and I ended up leaving my dog, a yellow lab, there for grooming and the shedding treatment. My dog was clean, soft, and smelled great. All that thick under-fur was gone. What a relief! I have never taken my dog to a groomer before. For the price, it was more than worth it.

My dog LOVES the Dog Stop! As soon as we pull up to the doors she runs up and sits, waiting to be let in. She even has a new BFF in her play group. I love the pictures the staff sends me, especially the POOL!!! Plus I can get all my food, treats, SAINT GEAR, etc all in one place.

My corgi loves going to the Dog Stop. They treat him so well especially if you have them do a return home bath. Then he can play all day and come home smelling great.

The dog stop is always professional, and you cannot beat their boarding rates. I no longer live in Lafayette, but when my wife and I come in town for a weekend we bring our dog from New Orleans to Lafayette to board him at the dog stop instead of boarding him locally.

Horrible service, and lazy staff. Brought my dog to get his nails trimmed. Not.only.did they not trim his nails but they didnt tell me that they didnt do it. I brought him back, so they could correct their mistake, and again they told me they trimmed them, but didnt. I also took my dog there to be washed. They told me they washed him, but he still smelled when I picked him up. I dont know how these people stay in business.

My dog skooter LOVES the dog stop, I get to watch the live pup cams all day and watch my little guy play. theres always someone in there with them making sure all goes well. He even loves the staff. We love TDS!!

Absolutely terrible! Come here of you want to over pay for a cut you did not want. I brought my dog here for a grooming with strict instructions not to cut her facial/head and tail hair. I went to pick her up and she was scalped. Granted they left the hair on her tail alone but her head hair had been cut down as short as it possibly could. Her whiskers on one side was also nicked short. Her nails were cut but still extremely sharp where she scratched me when I picked her up. I brought this to attention when checking out and the guy just kept saying there was nothing he could do and charged me full price for a full grooming. He then stated shed be cooler in the summer without her head hair. Thats not for them to decide and take upon themselves. If that were the case, I would not have left any instructions. She didnt even come with a bandana as stated. When asked he said theyd all gotten wet the night before. Then give me a wet one or a discount for not receiving the entire package. On top of that, they had her listed as a male dog and had trouble finding her. Absolutely ridiculous! Find somewere better to take your pet. Itll be cheaper and theyll pay attention enough to know the sex of your pet.

We recently brought our dog there for 4 daysWhen he came home he had serious burns on his testicles. I was told he had access in and out but they also gave him a bath and said they didnt notice the evident swelling and discoloration. He is now on steroids and antibiotics and we have to have him fixed as result.

Have very mixed feelings about this place. I got a private trainer to come to my house and observe my dog and tell me what i needed to do to train him to potty outside (not on pee pad like originally trained) and some other techniques to keep him active without doing physical activity. I was so please and thankful. She was amazing!!!!! So i brought him to get groomed and had a very different experience. I got him de-shedded and he came home still shedding, almost even worse than before. When i got him de-shedded at Spoiled on Johnston it was $10 cheaper and he didn’t shed for two weeks so sticking to Spoiled even though it is significantly further from my house. But great private trainer at The Dog Stop!!

We absolutely LOVE it here at the TDS! Our dog Beau was a stray and nervous with new dogs and people when we got him. Now he has other dog friends and cant wait to get to TDS to see all his friends. (I should note that TDS will play with your dog separately if they dont feel comfortable around other dogs - pretty much the deciding factor when we were choosing places. Not all dogs can play with other dogs, but they still may need daycare!) He especially loves the people that work at TDS;he pulls me to get inside and then wiggles away with the employees. :) I trust TDS with my dog; they know him very well and I know they will take good care of them. If you are considering a daycare for your pet, I DEFINITELY recommend this place!

My furr-baby Kash absolutely loves TDS! They have excellent staff members watching my baby around the clock to make sure he is safe, fed, hydrated, loved, and always waggin his tail from having such a fun time! TDS is super convenient due to its location first off, but while my baby plays all day I can get him groomed, nails trimmed, or even a nice brush and blow out! I can also buy all my pet necessities such as food, treats, and toys in the retail store upfront for amazing prices! The Dog Stop has it all folks!
