I had Knee Surgery a few months back and I wanted to wait and see how my knee felt before writing a review. I can say that Im 100% satisfied. The procedure was quick. They had it approved with my insurance ahead of time and the staff was great. And most importantly my knee no longer locks and feels really good.

Pleasant, professional staff from making appointment until end of appointment. Dr Cooney explained alternatives available in an easy to understand manner. I feel confident in my decision and look forward to getting my knees done and having movement without pain again.

Dr Cooney did a great job of listening to our concerns. Sometimes you feel rushed at the doctor’s office, as if they are in a hurry to move on to the next patient. My son and I felt that Dr Cooney truly cared about our concerns, addressing each of them as if we were talking with a family friend.I feel confident that my son’s orthopedic issues will be resolved in a competent and caring fashion!

Dr. Cooney and all of the nurses are really great. They are knowledgeable and helpful. The only thing I have to complain about is the wait! I have been there 5 or 6 times now and every time I wait for 45 min- 1 hour PAST my appt time. It is really inconvenient, especially when I had to take off work/adjust my schedule to make it work.

Dr. Cooney and his staff as well are both courteous and proffessional everytime I have visited their office. I had a full hip replacement surgery last February and I feel like a million bucks. As a matter of fact, I was at a concert put on by John Hickenlooper at Redrocks ampitheatre 2 weeks ago and I was dancing in the isle like Fred Astaire. The hip felt great. I have seen Dr. Cooney once before for tennis elbow and I recovered quickly and now have had some knee issues, he was straight forward with a plan of treatment and has a great bedside manner - answered all questions I had and made sure I was comfortable and understood what the plan for treatment was - thank you!

Dr. Cooney reattached my torn bicep to my forearm in 2012 and I had a fast and complete recovery. Eight years later, I tore my other bicep and had him repair it as well. Again, the surgery was successful, and I was back to living my life in full after a normal recovery period.Both experiences exceeded my expectations as Dr. Cooney and staff held my best interests at heart. Dr Cooney did a fabulous job with my hip replacement. Everything went well and I’m more than happy to have done the hip replacement. I may need my other hip replaced in the future and if that is the case, I will be back with Dr Cooney to have him do that one.

Dr Cooney and his surgical team performed extensive shoulder surgery on me with very positive results. I’m in PT now and my therapist is very encouraged with my progress due to the successful surgical repair by Dr Cooney.

Dr. Cooney did a great job on my bicep surgery. Didnt push me at all into surgery totally my decision and very glad I had it done.

I went to see Dr Cooney last Friday as My body is rejecting my knee replacements & I’m in excruciating pain & can only bend it maybe 10 degrees. He said I am a very difficult case.Dr Cooney isn’t able to help me but he cares enough even with his very busy schedule to take the timeto contact a Dr. he knows, at the Mayo Clinic who specializes in difficult cases like mine, whom he is reaching out too, to see if he is able to help me.I can’t Thank him enough nor for not judging me.I will most definitely encourage all my family & friends who are having any Orthopaedic or Spine difficulties to go & see Dr. Cooney or anyone elsein this Practice.

Very professional and organized. Doctor had good attitude. Seemed very knowledgeable. I gave it 4 stars because I used web site to request appointment over the weekend, they said someone would contact me the next business day. This never happened, I waited a couple of days to give them an opportunity. I then called and everything went very smoothly afterwards. This was just first appointment though will guve update after the MRI and follow up.

Mom had hip examined. Dr Cooney could not have been better. Logical, sensible options were presented in a kind, professional way.

He was kind, attentive, and gentle. All huge pluses when finding a doctor for what ales you. He came up with great options for me for treatment, and a game plan that worked for me. I highly recommend Dr. Cooney, and have all the faith that he knows what he is doing!

Dr Cooney is alway professional efficient and caring. I have crummy knees, he fixed my right one with an total knee replacement and is now working to fix the problem with my left. Whatever the final decision is for my left knee I’m confident it will feel better.

I had both meniscus’s tear and my acl completely damaged. I was very nervous after I had the mri done and found out the extent of the damage. I made an appointment with Dr. cooney who I was referred to by my primary care physician. I thought I was gonna have a million questions for him because I have never seriously injured my self and the thought of surgery was terrifying to say the least. When I met Dr. Conney he was very confident and explained everything I had questions about before I even asked. His staff and himself helped me get approved for the surgery and was able to schedule the surgery within two days of the appointment. When I left the appointment I was confident that I was in the right place and that I had the right doctor. When the surgery date came I wasn’t nervous at all about it. I had a very good experience with the staff they were friendly and very helpful. Now surgery isn’t fun for anyone, there was a lot of pain and a lot of colorful language used when I came to, I profusely apologized to the staff for my behavior. They assured me it was ok and they were very professional. They were able to get the pain under control and get me on my way. I was contacted by the nurse that helped me the very next day to make sure I was doing okay. I was impressed with the whole experience. Like I said surgery isn’t fun for anyone, it’s unpleasant there is pain and recovery and it takes time to heal with that being said, I feel very fortunate I was put in contact with Dr. Cooney and his staff

It was a great experience Dr Cooney helped heal my fractured themur. Instead if surgery he ordered a brace . I wore it for about 4weeks and I can not walk a lot better

Very good personality and professional gets to the root of the problem Then suggests solutions to fix the problems that will be the best to get you back to where you need to get .Staff is helpful and very easy to work with.
