Best neurosurgeon ever! Fused 2 bones in my lumbar spine and gave me my life back! His office personnel are so sweet and kind. I recommend him to everyone! Thank you Dr Munshi!!!

Dr. Munshi is great! Fixed my back pain with surgery, but we tired several options prior. He listens and is understanding. He explains everything very well and I highly recommend him to anyone with back issues

This dr did back surgery on my dad almost 5 months ago. My dad was VERY active before surgery. NOW... my dad can’t walk and is confined to his bed as if he is paralyzed!! This dr also did a second surgery and it’s helped NONE!! I would NOT recommend this dr!!! He may be good for some but my dad is basically paralyzed now!!

Dr. Munshi and his staff are amazing ! They are very welcoming and eager to make your visits stress free. Dr. Munshi saved my Daughter in law Amanda and unborn grand child Aubries life 7 years ago. If it had not been for him and his expertise in his field we would have lost both of them. Today I find myself with back issues and would go to no one other than Dr. Munshi because I know personally the type of surgeon he is and mostly the compassion and desire that he has to help his patients. 10 stars Dr. Munshi.

Great doctor

His PA was great and listened, but Dr. Munshi was incredibly dismissive and culturally insensitive. Once he learned that my mother is on pain medication, he was inattentive to the reasons we were there. The point of seeking his help was to alleviate her pain and no longer need pain meds. He walked away from me several times as I tried to talk to him. We waited 30 minutes for 5 minutes with him.

Where do I begin from my first visit with Dr. Munshi I was suffering from something called Trigeminal Neurology. From the time I walked in everyone was so friendly. Dr. Munshi and the staff treated me like I was family. I am very please with all my visits. And I highly recommend Dr. Munshi. I would like to thank you and your staff for taking care of me.

Dr. Munshi and his staff are AMAZING!!! They always go out of their way to help! Dr. Munshi has done several surgeries for me and you can tell he is truly compassionate about his patients and helping them to solve their pain. He is honest about surgery- even when you are in pain he tries not to perform it unless absolutely necessary but still does what he can to help alleviate the pain in the meantime. He is so caring- he can be a little quick in his appointments but he is just so smart he knows what’s the problem as soon as you start to explain so he really doesn’t need more than that! Once you figure that out, you can get used to it and know ‘just go into the appointment ready to say what’s wrong’ and he will be straightforward with you- and problem solved! He WILL help you!!! Sweetest and nicest doctor ever!

A wonderful staff and a great Doctor. Took me in last minute with severe leg pain. MRI and Xrays showed issue and within a few days had surgery and walked out same day without any pain. Thank you Dr Munshi .

Great Doctor and great staff. Had a horrible pain in my left leg to the point almost couldn’t walk. Dr MUNSHI sent me for X-ray and MRI and found a herniated disc. Recommended surgery. Had surgery recovery of 6 weeks , back at work and feel great. Thank You Dr MUNSHI .

Ilyas Munshi, M. D. Preformed corpal tunnel surgery on my left hand and it has never healed correctly and it still bothers me at times. In closing up the incision site he folded too much skin into it and that very evening I had to go to the emergency room to help get relief from the pain and it never healed correctly. I would never go to him again and I will never recommend him to anyone.

My brother had a brain tumor at the base of his brain, Dr. Munshi diagnosed it and did his surgery. He did an excellent job, he was kind and very helpful with questions. He knew exactly what to do.

Out of nowhere I started losing use of the right half of my body. I tried to seek help from the doctors who treat my migraines and tumor but got blown off by my neurologist of 8 years and neursurgeon of two years.My GP sent in a referral to Dr Munshi and I recieved an after hours call the next day to schedule. When I explained my situation hishstaff understood brought me in immediately and got my records and imaging history. Dr. Munshi checked me out without doubting me, explained my surgical and non surgical options. He found a rather intense pinch in my spine and scheduled an ACDF as quickly as insurance and scheduling could process. He let me decide when and what we did without pushing me in any particular direction. I chose surgery and he explained the risks/reward and I asked if doing it ASAP was appropriate. He said yes.I cannot recommend him enough. I now trust him to manage my brain tumor and tell me when and if surgical procedures are/will be appropriate.I was in intense, visually-obvious pain and he understood and helped. Im quite grateful for him and his staff.

Had extreme lower back pain. Had mri to confirm I had a herniated L4, spinal stenosis, and advanced osteoarthritis in lower lumbar. Dr. Munshi schedule surgery as soon as possible. Had a rough night in the hospital but the staff at LGMC was awesome. I was home after one night stay in hospital. Now recovery process is on week 2. No pain except slight pain in muscle tissue where the incisions were. Man it really feels great to have no pain or very minimal pain compared to what I was in. Hope after I make full recovery I have no more pain. Dr. Munshi was very helpful but some of his staff need to learn some manners in the front by the sign in window. Also need to follow up with patients with medical papers for work and leave of absence. Ive been waiting to receive a phone call to say they were ready to be picked up so my short term disability would pay me and they already faxed it. Just a heads up would be nice.

Dr. Munshi preformed 3 infections on my neck after I fell. One was a blood patch to repair the first.I really enjoyed both him and his staff untill my follow up visit.The pain was returning and as I was explaining this to Dr. Munshi, both my husband and myself were shocked when he picked up a magazine and began to toss it in the air as I spoke as if he were bored! When he did turn his attention to me it was to say he had injected me twice and magnanimously preformed a blood patch (as if I screw that up for him myself).Needless to say I left his office and his empty promises to find out what was wrong and never returned again.I would not reccommend this doctor ever.

Received a quick appointment to visit the doctor, was in extreme pain from pinched nerve in back, had my mri confirm my situation with Dr. Munshi. Surgery scheduled, performed and now recouperating with the pain from nerve subsiding. Great to getting back to a normal form of life. Back issues are not fun and I am extremely thankful for getting in Dr. Munshis world of excellence in my personal matter. GREAT JOB!!!!!!!

This was a joke.I went for lower back pain.After a quick 2 min.talk.I was then referred to another doctor,but had to pay for him.Why would i need another dr.?He is supposed to be one?
