Wanted to comment on the bill that I received from IU Health Dermatology not the service that I received from my provider. I went into to IU Health to get an annual skin cancer check. 3 moles were removed for a total of $539 each before my insurance. The prices that IU charges insurance is astronomical. I already pay my insurance premiums and my deductibles. The lack of clarity and transparency in the billing process when a person wants to know the actual cost of a procedure is upsetting. Im posting my bill to provide at least a little insight into the unethical billing practices of IU Health to all of the prospective patients.
