Today I pulled out two of my top wisdom teeth and the surgeon was very rough. He was talking crazy to me….I was done by 10:30 am they didn’t send my meds until 12:00pm. The medicine was worn off by then I felt the pain. Highly wouldn’t recommend.

Don’t put yourself or your kids through an experience here. My 16 month old and I waited well over an hour for them to take him from me screaming and bring him back 5 minutes later still screaming. I wasn’t allowed in the back with him. I pray he is not now traumatized to go to the dentist. I will NEVER go to this place again. It’s honestly not the staff. It’s the structure of how things are done. Just because an office accepts Medicaid should not allow them to treat children like cattle. 30+ people in the waiting room. Probably all had that 1 o’clock appointment.

Oh man.. where do I start? Ive had every experience happen to my kids and I here. Signed my daughter in for her appointment and after waiting for 2 1/2 hours, I was told that we had to come back on a different day because there was a different dentist who refused to do the procedure needed.I am currently waiting to HEAR BACK FROM THEM so that my son can have dental work done.He has a broken tooth and a chipped tooth and I worry daily about him when he complains about the pain.I took him to his doctor and had him fax them everything needed yet it has been months now and when I call them Im told to WAIT TO HEAR BACK FROM THEM!There has to be a better system! Help!

This dentist office is terrible. There customer service is horrible and rude. Their not up to date and don’t notify when anything changes. The staff need to go back to school, because they can’t even numb you without feeling pain, they rush, and can’t even do a simple cleaning compared to OMEGA or any other dentistry😩

Today I brought my daughter to Taylor Dental. I was very spectic about it from the reviews I have read. Well our experience was different from the reviews. Her appointment was at 1pm. We were in Consultation Room for 1:20. Then my daughter went to the back while I sat in lobby. After she was done I was allowed to go back in Consultation Room for lady to explain the procedure that needed to be done. We were out of the building at 2 pm Very nice, friendly staff. My daughters next visit for oral surgery is August 24. Praying that visit will be as pleasant as today. Thanks Taylor Dental Lafayette. 9/18/2021. My daughter & I went to Taylor Dental in Lafayette, LA on yesterday. She’s needing all her teeth pulled. They were able to pull all her top ones out which was 13 total. I’m so glad I did not listen to the reviews because so far we are very pleased. The staff there is awesome & they try working with you. They do have certain rules as all places to due to COVID. On a scale of 1-5 I give Taylor Dental a 5+. Thanks Ms Ruby for all you have done for us !!!

This place is horrible. they make you sit and wait for long periods of time while the hygienist just walk around doing nothing. they are rude and not sincere to anyone. there was a little girl on the side of me crying scared to death and they just watched her. its really sad to see and this place should be SHUT DOWN!!!

4/5 StarsI was very hesitant about this place considering the horrible reviews, however its the only facility that takes our insurance and my toddler needed to be seen. To my delight, everyone there was very friendly. The wait time was a bit long and I wasnt able to go in with her but they were very kind to her and I could see her through the window.2/5 Stars nowEdited 3 months later to say that Im disappointed in their communication. Im still waiting for my toddler to get several fillings done. They said they schedule once a month because of covid. Im tired of calling them for information. I quickly got her pre op appt done and spent money on that to ensure that her teeth would be fixed soon. At this rate her adult teeth will be in by the time theyre ready to schedule....

If I could give this place a zero I would. Ill give them a 1 even though they dont deserve it. Almost every single time Ive came here its been a terrible experience. From terrible pain and them messing up my teeth to unprofessionalism, Ive experienced it all. What finally made me done with them was today I went in for an appointment at 11am waited till 12:10pm and still wasnt called. I went ask what was going on and she asked if I signed in. I told her yes and she told me she didnt sign me in. That I would have to come back because they are closed for lunch. I would never reccomend this place to any one!

I usually do not write a review but I have to try to save any parent that I possibly can from this heartache. STAY AWAY from this place. I took my kids here because of location and price. My kids went for a CLEANING and was told we needed additional work bc my 5 and 9 year old has cavities. We went back for the appointment and they were not willing to let me go back with my 5 year old. They wanted me to wait in he lobby while they did work on my 5 year old....NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! I left and scheduled an appointment with a pediatric dentist. Went for the kids appointment only to find out my oldest did not have any cavities and needed a cleaning. She had just had just had a cleaning...so I thought, at Taylor Dental less than a month ago. Looking at her mouth it looked liked she had not had a cleaning this year!!!! Meaning I paid Taylor Dental and they did not clean her teeth!!! Of course with no parents allowed back there...there is no way to tell what was done. I am now looking at $1000 of dental work for my littles. Save yourself the time, energy, and money and go somewhere else. Do not let the new paint and name change fool you the quality of this place is less than 1 star.

The dentist that works on my kids are great ..with that being said the lady and young man that work the front desk are horrible they know nothing of what it is to be polite or professional.You come here and they dont even say hello most of the time and when you ask a question they give you a short answer with attitude .This is who you want to represent your company ?

This is the worst place you can bring anyone to! The staff there is rude, inconsiderate and unprofessional. They will lie to cover up their mistake and blame the patient. What kind of business does that. The music choice is so inappropriate for a place you bring kids. What kind of place of business plays “Jodeic- Freaking you” at a dentist office. The guy receptionist there is super rude, unprofessional and needs an attitude check just straight up embarrassing. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!! The only reason they have one star is because I’m unable to write a review without a rating!

I went here yesterday with my insurance and they said that my cavity from a filling falling out, could not be filled. I had to go to Dr. Davis in Opelousas and get a regular filling and pay out of pocket. These people are not legit. Dont waste your time either.

No manager at this location. Who is in charge? The worst service ever.

My son had an scheduled appointment, & confirmation, Upon arrival almost an hour early, missing his first two classes, interrupting his perfect attendance, only to be told, the appointment was never scheduled. I was so aggravated, I pulled up my call log and timer, in hopes it would bring some resolve. The receptionist was extremely rude. I informed her, the patients keeps her employed. She informed me, that I could go elsewhere; and she was damn skippy. Rather Private pay or Medical insurance, The Patients keeps this place open, Professionalism is a requirement especially when, I’m paying my money for service. They are so unorganized & rude, I wouldn’t pay for their services with Cracker Jack box prizes.

So I live out of town with four children. We was 10 minutes late and they refused to see my children. Dentist are a dime a dozen around here. Dont need to drive 25 miles to waste gas and time. This place is rude. And got me sit for 1 hour before telling me my children wont be seen.

DO NOT TRUST THEM! THEY WILL MESS UP YOUR TEETH!I had a crown come off completely, needed it reattached ASAP: was on a liquid diet to prevent damaging the tooth further. First time they told me the wrong time over the phone to come in, and they refused to see me or even give me care directions or start the paperwork. Came back the next day, they eventually saw me (I wasnt scheduled, so I wont mention wait time) and they wouldnt do anything without pre-approval from my insurance (2 weeks minimum, likely more). When I asked what to do until then, I was literally told Just be careful and hope it doesnt crack. EXACT WORDS. That should have been my cue to leave, but I wanted it handled so I wouldnt miss my exam later the same day so I just paid out of pocket. During the procedure, the dentist asked if I had a gap before; Im pretty sure I didnt, but I do recall some difficulty in getting a good fit when I got the crown, so it was possible there was a small one. But they didnt leave a small gap: they threw on the first crown they grabbed. It is so short that I cant even make contact with it and my top teeth. I mean, yeah it wont get worse, but it looks bad and is useless for chewing. I also heard a kid screaming bloody murder while I was in the back; I dont know the situation, but for a dentistry that specializes in children that seems like a red flag too. I will NEVER come back here- Id rather pay DOUBLE out of pocket at a private practice and get it done RIGHT than deal with these people who just want their check.

Not recommend...VERY unorganized!!! Many times for appointments that were scheduled either the doctor wasnt there...or they had one doctor and I wasnt able to be seen...🤦🏾 All without notice even calling before a walk-In ...

This place needs to work better on there character. Nobody wants to be around people who seem to have a nasty attitude or not care. There are a few All-Stars that work here. I would definitely recommend Dr BERARD, Mindy, Rejean, and the manager to make you feel comfortable and valued.

If I could give Taylor Dental 0 stars I would.This place is a JOKE.I was in a lot of pain and the “dentist” told me that my tooth needed to be pulled out immediately...even though he was in such a rush because of overscheduling that he barely even looked inside of my mouth.I was told by the “doctor” to come back in 10 days after a course of antibiotics to get it pulled ,But the front desk scheduled my appointment for 6 MONTHS LATER.When I called to tell them about this,they informed me that they made a mistake but there was nothing they could do,& that I would have to wait at least a month to come back.I went to get a second opinion from an ACTUAL dentist who informed me that I was lucky I had cancelled my next Taylor appointment,because my tooth was perfectly fine and could definitely be saved with a root canal.Thank God that the staff at Taylor Dental is incompetent, or else i would be walking around toothless for no reason.

Our wait time was very little. The staff was friendly and they comforted my kids through their procedures. All together they had a great dental experience. Thanks So Much Dr. Berard, Kea, And Tina!

I did not have a appt.. walked in with a dental emergency and staff allowed me to get in. Dr Berard and Rejean Irving assessed situation and addressed right away. Very impressed how Quick, fast, and professional they were.

Horrible customer service wait time extremely long and does not give courtesy calls to patients.

My daughter went there in march of this year and was told she needed oral surgery. they scheduled her an appointment. her appointment was scheduled for may 14th and when i called today to check the time i was told that her appointment was never put into the system and now she would have to wait till august of this year and even that isnt guaranteed. they didnt once apologize for their mess up they tried patronizing me and then had the nerve to have an attitude with me. this place is very unprofessional and its sad they feel its ok to do this to children. Angele was horrible !!!! Name calling, and accusing me of “medical fraud”. Seriously, all I needed was a new rx for something that is still BOTHERING ME from my last visit to TAYLOR DENTISTRY ! Under two conditions she told me i couldn’t be seen (they don’t take walk ins, and I wasn’t on the schedule) even though I had an emergency scheduled appointment. She then told me if I paid they would let me see the dentist. This place is a joke.

Appointments cancelled with a few hours notice. Unprofessional attitudes..Update. The last 4 appointments have been cancelled. Ridiculous!

Extremely disappointing. Will not be returning.
