Waited over 2 hours for nothing. The blond dental assistant is super rude. This is the last time I go there. last time I was there. They make you look stupid. As if you have no idea what work you need done. They like to take about patience like they can’t hear. The fillings that I got less than 8 months ago gave fallen out. They’re guaranteed a minimum of 8 years, didn’t even last a year. Don’t go here!

Bayou Braces has such a professional customer service within its office. Each staff member treated us more like family instead of a patient which was FABULOUS. Everything was explained in detail step by step with a concern to make sure we were comfortable. My Fiancé Happy and I are both new patients of Bayou Braces but feels more like we’ve been here for a while now. Happy Faces, Bright Smiles and Positive Attitudes. They do good work but the customer service isn’t good. When you call a location it goes to a different office not to the location you called. Then they give you the run a round. And your on hold for 30 minutes at a time. Their communication skills need work.

Dr. Davis and her assistant Ashley are amazing! I never felt so comfortable to be in a dentist office. They make sure your okay through the whole procedure. We laughed, we joked, and the procedure went perfect. Definitely a place I’m coming to for any dental work!

This facility will tell you they accept your insurance and once you get there, they will inform you that they do not. I thought it was just a misunderstanding when it happened to my daughter-in-law but they dis it to me as well. I do not recommend them even if they do take your I insurance.

I would highly recommend this place. It is very clean the staff is very friendly and professional. I have dental anxiety and they explained everything to me thoroughly.The dr was very nice and attentive.

Bayou braces is a complete joke. If I could give negative stars then I would most definitely do so. For three weeks my kids appointments have been cancelled. We are driving from a hour away and my daughter is a freshman at gambling so she is even further so that tells just how important their appointments are to us. Each week the doctor, (the one doctor might I add) that they have on staff has had an emergency. Yes I understand things happen but thats the reason why a place that have so many patients should have more then one doctor on staff to accommodate these type of problems. How can a place that has three locations and that service numerous amount of patients only have one single person on staff that does the type of work thats most important in a dentist office. It makes absolutely no sense at all. NONE!!!!!....

I had an appointment for a consultation at 9:30am. I sat in the waiting lobby watching people that were scheduled for 10:40am appointments get called back before I did! When I approached the receptionist at the front desk with my concerns, she assured me I was “next.” So I sat and watched three more people that had been waiting no longer than 10 minutes get called back before I did! I walked out at 11. I waited for an HOUR and A HALF!! Will definitely be taking my business elsewhere and sharing my experience with others!! Very disappointed.

HORRIBLE!!! Do not go here !!Every Appointment i had they told me i Owed a balance. They MONEY HUNGRY. If you need your appointment switched they give you an appointment 3 months later. I would not Recommend to ANYONE!

I would not recommend this place. I had braces here and I must say it was almost a complete joke. The staff are not well trained , I feel like its a money scheme.let me jst say “you get what you pay for”. Treatment isnt in full effect until ur total balance is paid off, after that everything is rushed into about 3 months. I do not recommend to anyone.My niece has had her braces for 4 years with this company, once the balance was paid off, I was told she would have to go another year and a half, $150 each month. She is only seen in the office once every 3 months. HORRIBLE! Her teeth have made NO REAL PROGRESS over the past 4 years. Save your money and stay away from this place. Only reason I gave one star is because I could not give zero.

I stay out of town so before arrival I confirmed services the prior day. I was told the wrong info and didn’t get services done that day so now I have to make another trip. Also, I’ve been trying to get insurance information the past couple of months. They’ve stated to return my call for billing information. Nobody did so but when they want payment they’ll call you. Terrible service and my daughter “just” received her braces in the prior visit. Wish I had known this earlier. Hopefully the service gets better!!!

Normally I would visit the Baton Rouge location which is awesome with service and office practice. I scheduled at the Lafayette office a month ago and I am extremely concerned. My teeth or not only shifting but it feels like one or two or loose. Even when I bite down it seems very uneven. I have tried calling the BR office the last couple of weeks.I left over three messages. I always get a third party answering service that has to transfer me.I have not received any call backs. I am trying to handle this directly with Bayou Braces versus The BBB.... I hope this message gets the attention of an office member at the “Lafayette” location or “Baton Rouge”.

STAY AWAY FROM A HEADACHE !!!They over book and seem to have way more patients than they could handle if you have to reschedule it’ll be months out then your teeth is basically shifting back to how they were which is aggravating because you’ll have your braces in forever ,& they have way to many locations to where each location is open on certain days and could make it very hard to fit people schedules if they need to make it on a certain day. They’re just doing way to much and making it a inconvenience. I wish I knew this before even starting with them.

I love this place they are so kind and helpful they let you choose your own down payment and monthly payments that helps fit your budget and that’s great of them my coordinator is so nice I never had any problems I love the whole team don’t hesitate to go here make your move!!❤️

The Staff Is Always Nice &’ Friendly. They Answer All My Questions &’ Concerns. I’m Glad I Chose Bayou Braces For My Ortho Needs.

From start to finish of my treatment, their time management was horrible. And I don’t say that to say I arrived at my appointment and waited 5-15 mins, it was always way over a 30 minute wait. A couple of times before I waited at least an hour before being seen. Waiting room is always crowded due to them trying to see entirely too many patients at once. Also, too many different opinions on your treatment. In one visit one orthodontist said one thing then another came around with a different opinion. Paid $800 extra for a “warranty for a lifetime retainer if I lost mine” but then at the end of treatment they tell you there’s an additional $75 fee to be seen after they take your braces off. Had my permanent retainer put in wrong therefore they had to shave it off (which was painful) and I had to reschedule after being there for 2 hours. On top of everything, my teeth still have glue on them. I’d have to pay them $75 to be seen by them since my braces are now off for them to fix their mistake. I really wish I would have gone with a completely different office. Do yourself a favor and save the disappointment by going anywhere but here.

I went today to Bayou Braces for a free consultation. They were quick, did an x-ray, a simple exam and broke down pricing options for me. The way they structure their plans it’s so easy to afford braces! They also offered me a matching down payment if I made a social media post and a google review. I’m just being honest! I don’t regret going at all!😁

Bayou Braces is not customer friendly. There are so many people and they over book. If you need to change an appointment, you will have to wait a minimum of another month to get in. They make no concessions if a bracket comes off or anything. It’s such a hassle! My other 2 kids willNOT go here. We dread walking through the doors of that place.

We had dental work done today on my daughter. Everything was excellent.

My child has had his braces in for 24 months. Horrible service. The first year they only saw him every 3 months the first year. When started complaining they suddenly started scheduling every month. When I asked why he is not being scheduled on a monthly visit she told me if I pay more towards the balance they will see him more often. The problem is that I follow payment schedule contract I signed. Im never late on my payment. They are only concerned payments.There is always so many people there at one time. I think they stretch everyone treatment plans for at leat 32-36 months to gain as much money as possible. I see little progress with my childs teeth. They do not know what they are doing. They are only concern with collecting my money. Please go some where else if you can. I have lost out on a lot money I know most likely child have see someone correct what they did wrong. I dont usually write reviews please take my advise if you want avoid the headache.

The staff is great and patient with my daughter,who has anxiety at dentist. They very gentle and explain everything to her.7months now and my child is going in the back by herself because she feels comfortable enough. Also no more gaps on top teeth! Love this place.

Pay the down payment that is higher this office is a joke only care about payment and do be late on one payment or they will not do nothing to you until paid. I mean not a week past due date you will be treated like you owe the world. Office manager and dental assistant even crazier I have video of them getting out of mind because payment was late throwing dental tools in tray and it is funny to watch please go to the professionals where it is classy and you have room to sit while you wait and also where it is clean.

I was charge a no show fee. When I try calling for 2 days and there no answer then answering machine only you have time to say your name and number then cuts off and try calling back no answer. No one called me back. There a charge to BAYOU BRACES for NO ANSWER and NO RETURN CALL FEE!!!!!!!!!

I had a awesome experience at Bayou Braces. My 17 year old went to get braces and we were treated very well by the Dr. and his staff. Things were explained to use step by step that would take place. I would recommend Bayou Braces to anyone wanting to get braces.

(Lafayette Location) I’ve never encountered a more ghetto, unprofessional, disorganized place in my life. All of my appointments have been canceled so far and not only was I not notified about the cancellations, but they have yet to be rescheduled. I understand we’re in the middle of a pandemic but I’m a nurse and had I had the courtesy of being notified about the cancellations, I wouldn’t have taken off work, wasting PTO, and I would’ve been able to treat patients. To add insult to injury, the lady “Elizabeth” who answers lacks empathy and common costumer service skills especially for new paying customers.

Bayou braces is AWESOME, Ms. Skyler was the best, she made us feel right at home and the Dr. Bro just made it that much better. Its a fun and friendly environment and I wouldnt recommend anywhere else when thinking about braces. Thanks for everything

It took two days to hear back from a representative, only to be told they could not fix my permanent retainer because I did not get it installed with them. My retainer is 10 years old , and I cannot get it fixed at the original location because I had it done in high school in another state. This is definitely something they could have asked about or informed me of during my initial phone call before wasting my time.

This place has been terrible since day one. The office staff is very rude on the phone and in person. The people who work in the back never seem to know what to do! Every time I have gone I have seen a different orthodontist who suggests a different manner of treatment. Being that there are so many offices but one crew they only visit certain offices on certain days of the week, which makes scheduling SO much harder. I have been seen on a 4-6 week basis and one time I hadn’t gone in over 8 weeks due to struggles with their schedule. What should have been a two year treatment (which is what they told me the first day I went) has turned into almost 4 years of treatment and still flawed teeth. I have many scars in my mouth due to things they have done and lack of attention. Then today when I became upset today when they scheduled me 6 weeks out today (when they were supposed to schedule me in two weeks but there weren’t any availability until the date they scheduled me) the tech blamed me and said it’s “because of my tight schedule” when they had no availability. If you’re looking for an orthodontist, look somewhere else!

Horribel will not recommend to anyone. Took off of work drove an hour. Was called to the back eith no greeting, was asked the name of my dentist, she called without my consent that she could contact them requesting a dental clearance that was not done because no one gave instructions prior to appointment. Do not and will never recommend. Give only one star because it wouldnt allow me to leave a review with one.

My experience is usually good but my last visit an unfamiliar face changed my wires and she bent my wire at the top back on right side up instead of towards my teeth and the wire been cutting my jaw ever since. I do use wax but its an inconvenience to keep applying wax at the back of my mouth. Really upset about that.

Every time you go it’s a different dentist redoing your treatment plan...they say one thing and do another and prolongs your treatment plan bc they are doing unnecessary things. I guess the saying is true ...you get what you pay for

So after I get the braces off, they are saying I need cosmetic work which I was told that it would be included in the price at the beginning of treatment.
