Dr Leo and staff is the most caring and professional dental office you will ever find, they have taken every precaution possible during covid to insure safety, I highly recommend this office to anyone who might be new to Lafayette or surrounding area

I loved the previous dentist, Dr. Friedman, and his successor is just as good. So many dentists are what I call Ka-ching, Ka-ching dentists who try to find every possible problem even if its something that doesnt really need to be fixed.Dr. Leo is definitely not like that. I had to have a crown replaced which involves an estimate of several different steps, each step with a cost. When he replaced the crown he told me that one of the steps they thought they would have to do, the core build-up, turned out to be unnecessary in my case reducing the cost of the crown by almost $300.I would have had no way of knowing whether he did or didnt do that step and had agreed to the original estimate. I know that things must be tight for him having to deal with 1 1/2 years of Covid rules, regulations. restrictions and loss of business and I am so impressed by his honesty.He is also a very good dentist. Knowledgeable, nice, very understanding and patient.

Dr. Leo and Lola are fantastic!!!! They got me an appointment right away as I was experiencing some tooth pain, did an extraction in no time. The extraction was painless and I have had no troubles. I have visited Lafayette Dental Excellence for routine care, and have been very satisfied. Last night, one of my crowns came out. I left a voice message at the office at 7:30pm. The office opened at 9am this morning, and I received a call at 9:02! They made an appointment for me at noon and the crown was repaired and reinstalled by 12:30. Amazingly good service!

What a wonderful team! I really appreciate the friendly, experienced front office staff that is consistently helpful and welcoming. Dr Leo and the hygienists always provide excellent care and are fun to chat with. The office uses state of the art technology and is very clean and new. I am so glad I found this dental practice!

Its hard to find a dentist office that is so well-functioning and easy-going. I have had only positive experiences, never any pressure sales (e.g. teeth whitening, fluoride treatments, etc.) and they are always very honest about what is time-critical and what can be pushed back. For me going to the dentist is such an anxiety filled heart pulsing situation that until absolutely necessary I will avoid at all cost. With that being said, this place added on to my already volatile emotions. It was very cold the minute I walked through there doors. The staff treated like a nuisance intruding into their time and space. It felt very much like a factory from beginning to end. Their answers were very short to my questions. Even the Dr. Wasnt reassuring to put me at ease. Rather it was very matter of fact. It felt very much like an collection agency. My next toothache will definitely be at a different dentistry with better caring loving hands.

I went in recently but it wasn’t for me , office lady Genevieve wasn’t really nice to the other co workers and she seemed real bossy , I think she needs to work on her people skills . I think this dentist is very competent and honest, and the staff are all very nice and professional with one exception. My hygienist today started to get very inappropriate, first saying hateful things about transgendered people, then spouting conspiracy theories about COVID, and telling me to do my research regarding my voting choices. As well as saying she hates the way the newer generation thinks. I didnt come to get my teeth cleaned to be a compulsory audience for her political leanings. I think she needs a refresher on how to converse with patients appropriately, and Im honestly not sure if I feel comfortable coming back now.Update: the office manager just spoke with me within an hour of me leaving this review and let me know the hygienist was a temporary staff member and would not be welcome back. They were very apologetic and I feel like my concerns were fully addressed and Im happy to continue being seen at this office.

Friendly, experienced, helpful staff. State of the art (at least to me) X-ray technology. Efficient diagnosis of my mouth pain followed by course of treatment and setup with specialist for further treatment. Clear explanation of billing with no surprises. Im a first time patient, highly impressed and plan on coming back.

Been coming here for over ten years but this was my first post-Covid dental appointment. Rest assured, Dr. Leo and crew have made many thoughtful adjustments to assure the safety and comfort of their patients. There were HEPA filters and UV filtration in each individual cleaning room...face screens, masks, and hair coverings worn by all hygienists...and elimination of the waiting room (just text from the parking lot and they will tell you when to come inside). I felt totally safe and comfortable getting my teeth cleaned in these crazy times. Always a friendly and personable staff, and Dr. Leo listens to and answers your questions!

I am so happy that I made the switch to Lafayette Dental Excellence! Dr. Leo and the entire staff are kind, professional, and personable. I had to have a chipped filling patched up during my second trimester of pregnancy, and could not have been more pleased with the efficiency of the procedure and caring attitude of the staff.

I had my first visit today and am so delighted with everyone here and the entire experience. They LISTEN! My mouth is unusually small and the X-ray appliances are too big and cause me to gag. So they made them smaller and made sure I was comfortable. I had an uncomfortable tooth with no obvious X-ray indication of a cavity, but it has been uncomfortable for a while. Dr. Leo used several other ways to check the tooth and surrounding area and did find a very small cavity, which he filled. And then explained the real trouble was stress and tooth grinding at night. So I was fitted for a night guard. From the moment I made an appointment to the moment I checked out, I was showered with courtesy and smiles and professionalism. What a treasure this practice is! I am so grateful to have chosen them.

After avoiding going to the dentist for years out of fear, I finally went to see Dr. Leo and his team to get a full exam, x-rays, etc. After discovering I have several cavities to be filled, Dr. Leo and his team were able to give me a treatment plan that ultimately eased my anxiety financially and mentally. I have recommended many friends, family members and co-workers to this office and have never heard of a negative experience. They even made my super nervous husband comfortable. Just had my first filling done by this office and (unfortunately) having plenty of experience with fillings, I have to say that this was the easiest, fastest, most educational I’ve had. They gave me a pillow for my neck and a support for keeping my mouth open and saliva vacuumed so I never had to swallow and I don’t have jaw or neck pain as a result. The dentist took pictures and showed me everything I needed to know. Additionally, the front office staff knew exactly what my copay would be and provided me an estimate immediately before I scheduled the dental work so I was financially prepared. I have not had such great dental service in a long time. Good work guys!!!

From start to finish my experience at Lafayette Dental Excellence was nothing short of wonderful. Honestly, I’m slightly uneasy when visiting the Dentist, but not this time around. Dr. Leo was very professional and my hygienist Kim made me feel right at home. However, who really stole the show for me was the beautiful office admin, Genevieve. As soon as I walked through the door she greeted me with a very warm welcome and helped me get through all of my paper work as a new patient. She was incredibly kind and informative. She’s also so funny, which made me feel better about the experience. After my appointment she patiently worked with me to schedule a few follow up appointments and was able to provide me with all of the resources I needed for my next visit. Truly a five star staff!!!

Lafayette Dental is by far the best dentist office I have ever been to. The care given by the hygienists and dentist are by far superior to any place I have been before. This note to Dr Friedman is long overdue. My husband and I lived in Erie, CO for a short period of time in the early 2000s. Dr Friedman performed some extensive dental work on me. One part of that work was to crown my front teeth. I received many compliments on the work he had done at that time.Since then, my husbands job has relocated us to several locations in Florida and now New Hampshire. Every time I go to a new dentist, the new dentist comments on the wonderful work that was done on my front teeth. The crowns still look just as beautiful, 13 years later, as they did when Dr Friedman originally did the work. I went to a new dentist yesterday, and she actually had her hygienist come in and look at the wonderful job on my front teeth. I always credit Dr Friedman in Lafayette, CO for the job well done. Dr. Leo and his staff are excellent! Dental work always makes me nervous and they did a great job explaining the process and keeping me calm. Dr. Leo did a crown for me and wouldnt let me leave until is was adjusted perfectly! I would highly recommend his practice to anyone!

I love this place!!! I went in to get a cleaning done for the first time in almost nine years and I can not be more happy with my decision to go to Lafayette Dental. First of all, Genevieve was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and so nice!!! She went through with me all the pricing with my insurance to help me find the best option for me (I am getting fitted for a mouth guard tomorrow) and made me comfortable right off the bat since I was so nervous about not being to the dentist in so long. Then Barb was the perfect finish to a lovely visit. She was gentle and very informative. I had a lot of questions! I dont like fluoride and I dont use it in my toothpaste. I told Barb this and she didnt just dismiss my feelings. She examined my teeth and decided I didnt really need it! This place is full of angels!!!!
