I love the staff at Highland Creek Dental. They are always nice and helpful. I love the way that Dr. Cope is honest about procedures and lets me decide whether I want the procedure or not.

I broke my front tooth on a Friday evening and called Highland on the following Monday morning. I know they’re a very busy office and was surprised (and extremely thankful) that they could get me in that day. Everything was great from start to finish. I believe Elizabeth tooth my X-ray and was very personable the whole time. Dr. Cope came in an explained what they planned on doing and the risks involved with the type of trauma my tooth experienced and what might happen down the road. Danielle performed the repair on my tooth and she was super friendly and accommodating the entire time. The whole team made this experience so easy and there were lots of laughs. I’m extremely happy to have a smile with a tooth that matches to my others!

They can’t seem to get my insurance information correct. With every interaction they’ve told me I’m “out of network.” Our dental insurance doesn’t even have a “network.” Human Resources from my employer reached out to them in an effort to correct the situation. Highland Creek manager told me she has no record of this interaction- which I do not believe. I’m sure I’ve been overcharged because of this and they offered no resolution. I’m now finding a new provider to skip the hassle. I did have a tooth removed by Dr. Cope. He was professional and it went smoothly. I was disappointed that he did not introduce himself on our initial interaction.

First time visit! The staff was great! I felt welcomed and safe. Dr.Cope is amazing! He came up with a great treatment plan and I am actually very excited about it. I also love that they play music to your liking in your room.

This is the best practice Ive ever been to by far. Having had some terrible experiences at the dentist in my past, I have been afraid to go to the dentist my entire adult life. Dr Bodine and staff were honest, informative, even entertaining as they explained my options and fixed my issues over a few appointments. Made sure I was comfortable by providing extra numbing medication at the slightest reaction. Even gave me a blanket to keep me comfortable. I somehow managed to fall asleep. Made a crown for me right there in the office. Never came at me with one of those scary dental plans where you learn its going to cost a million dollars to fix your problems. Reasonable and common sense approach. Will never go anywhere else!

The dentist that I worked with didnt seem interested in helping me find a solution to my dental problems. She was more than happy to take my money to put fillings in but didnt have any interest in helping me figure out why I had so.much decay which is never been a problem for me. And the fillings havent helped anything either. My teeth still hurt where the fillings were placed and I keep getting told that its just going to take more time to heal. It was all a waste of money.

Absolutely rude I asked about sedation and things to help my child be calm was told oh yes we do that, drove a hour to the office, nurse kept trying to get my 5 yr old to do xrays without me after I told them its her first time being at a dentist. Then comes back to tell me they cant help me cause my child wont cooperate with them. She had no idea what they were wanting from her I will NEVER REFER ANYONE TO THAT OFFICE . HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO DEAL WITH A FIRST TIME VISIT APPARENTLY!!

I love this place! They really listen to me and they’re so patient when I’m having bad anxiety and have to have them stop what they’re doing so I can calm down. I even had a panic attack in the chair one time and they put oxygen on me to help me breathe and they spoke so calmly to me and helped me through it. They’re seriously so amazing and I trust them completely.

I came for my initial appointmentand everyone was very nice. Naomi was extremely informative and explained everything she would be doing. Dr. Cope was very nice as well and was very through. Im glad Ive chosen Highland Creek as my dental office.

I love this place! I’m that one adult who still needs laughing gas, the max amount of anesthesia and needed to be fully asleep to get my wisdom teeth pulled out. Coming here I feel a bit more relaxed and don’t have to wait in the car 10 mins as often before going in because of how nervous I am. Today I got my 5 cavities done and it went very well! I have been going to highland Creek dental for almost 2 years now, and have never had a bad experience. Very friendly staff and have the knowledgeo what they are doing. Dr. Bodine has been wonderful and Id like to say Danielle and Brenda, s few of the staff whom Ive dealt with many times are very kind and attentive in making sure I was happy with results of what theyve done, so props to them. I have been so happy with the care and attention to detail I have received. Ive had a cleaning, root canal, and two wisdom teeth extracted so far, and every visit has been thorough and welcoming. I would recommend them to anyone, especially if you have a fear of the dentist. They are not afraid of answering questions before doing something, and they give you an estimate of cost before proceeding. They make the visit as comfortable as possible with your choice of music, comfortable rooms, and welcoming atmosphere.

Professional and rigorous in teeth cleaning. Knowledgeable and a friendly staff. Have been going here over a year. Music choice during procedures is unique. They use Pandora to pick your preferred station. Equipment is high end. Overall I have had an amazing experience with them and my teeth are taken care of.

Ive been going to Dr. Cope since I was a teenager and now I take my 2 kids. We love it there. The staff is always friendly and the hygienist work so well with kids.

Had my first appointment here this morning. The staff were all very friendly! The hygienist was good about explaining everything she was doing and made sure to check my insurance before taking x-rays, something I greatly appreciate. She also cleaned my retainers! The dentist was great, he took his time making sure my teeth looked good and thoroughly checked my x-rays. I would definitely recommend Highland Creek. I will be back in 6 months!

Highland Creek Family Dental, you guys are extremely awesome! Leslie has been the main person through my bridge process! She is extremely talented and knowledgeable! The other staff that has filled in has been phenomenal! Dr. Shane Cope is great and recommended that I get that tooth pulled that was really infected and to get a bridge done! What a great job! My first visit here for a routine cleaning was absolutely great! The office staff are very nice and efficient. The dental hygienist that worked with me was also wonderful. She listened to all of my concerns, addressed them accordingly, and in a very professional manner. Although I only saw Dr. Cope for a few minutes since I had no issues (thankfully), he was still very professional and personable as well. I will definitely be back to this office for my next cleaning in 6 months and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new dental office!

Highland Creek Dental has been wonderful since we started going to them about 2 years ago. They are always so great at making sure our experience is the best quality possible. The staff is so sweet and understanding with my children. My kids actually get excited to go here knowing they are safe and taken care of. The Dentists and hygienists are also very thorough with me and explain every detail of what they are doing so I am never left wondering if I got what I needed. I was so scared of the dentist but they made me feel as comfortable as possible I came in with pain and left feeling none I cracked my tooth eating candy but after they finished my root canal it didn’t look like I had anything done at all that’s how natural they made it look

Best dentist visits in my life.They did a comprehensive exam, set up a plan for treatments and talked over all the problems they found in terms i could understand.I had a tooth extraction done first, and it was ALMOST a pleasant experience!The staff and doctor were pleasant and kind, they played my favorite music and explained every part of the procedure step by step to put me at ease.It was nearly painless, and they worked so efficiently that I almost didnt believe it when they said I was done!Im actually looking forward to future appointments. Excellent office. They get you in and out as quickly as possible, very short wait in the waiting room. You know BEFORE youre treated how much you will need to pay out of pocket. The staff is kind and considerate. In an emergency, they will do everything they can to get you in as soon as possible. Best of all for me, the doctor is very familiar with diabetes and how that relates to dental care. Great office.

Ive been going to Highland Creek for about 7 years. I have NEVER has a bad experience. Dr. Cope and his team are always professional and knowledgeable. They have the most up to date equipment and I love listening to the Pandora Radio they have for each room. I also find it nice that they have an email option for scheduling.

Ive come here twice over the last year and both times my experience has been great. I was always well informed and the dental assistants were never seemingly mindlessly poking away at my teeth and gums like how I feel at other locations in town. Belinda the dental assistant was very informative and took time to explain my xrays comparing them to her own which offered me a new understanding on whats going on in my mouth. I think anyone would appreciate that. I highly recommend highland creek family dental!

Just had an appointment for a cleaning today, and love this dental practice! Ive been going there for at least a couple of years now, and the quality has always been top. The staff is super friendly, from the front desk to Dr. Cope himself. The prices are good, they take Purdue insurance, and the cleanings are thorough. The equipment is modern, you get to choose your own radio station, and they remind you of your appointment about a week in advance (which is great!). Really cant ask for more from a dentist, Id recommend them to anyone.

UPDATE: Previous review was from 3 years ago. Ive had 3 more crowns done on top of regular cleanings. The most recent crown being a front tooth that I had broken. 3rd time is a charm right?! It took me 3 trips over a month and a half to get the perfect crown color matched. Please dont take that as something bad. i didnt consider this as negative, but rather it proves the staffs and Drs dedication to getting my smile as close to perfect as possible. They communicated with the lab numerous times to ensure the crown had perfect shading. So today I leave with confidence and a great fitting and colored crown! Thanks Highland Creek!P.s. if you want to avoid my situation, dont drink and canoe 😉Great service and atmosphere! I have had 3 crowns done here. The first 2 (together) did cause some pain. But Dr. Cope had me keep coming back (twice) to adjust it until I was pain free. My recent crown a few weeks ago has been perfect from the start!

I love Highland Creek Dental! I have been going there for about 6 years now. Everyone there is very nice from the receptionist to the dental hygienist, to Dr. Cope. I recently just started taking my 3 year old son there as well. He was a little scared at first since it was his first time to the dentist but all the nice people working there made him feel comfortable. The dental hygienist went through all of her cleaning tools with him before she started cleaning his teeth. I thought that was an awesome thing to do because it really helped him not be scared. At the end of his appointment he smiled real big and said That was so exciting! :)

I have been here since getting my new insurance and new to town about a year ago. It took 5 different visits to get my teeth cleaned because they didnt put the appointments in right. They tried to change my appointment time without telling me finally I got pissed and started yelling in the lobby. That finally got my teeth cleaned. Then for a root canal and crown theyve drug it out to 5 appointments and I still have to come back to get it finished. Not to mention that EVERY time I sign the treatment plan for the cost they tell me its going to be even more when I go to cash out!

I have been going to Highland Creek Family Dental for over 5 years and Dr. Shane Cope and the entire staff have been fantastic. They thoroughly explain all options, procedures and costs. I recently had a dental emergency and they saw me in the office on a Sunday. Dr. Cope and his staff have a clean, friendly environment and do a very thorough job on all procedures. I highly recommend this dental office!

Wish I could write a glowing review but... Called them during their normal business hours (1pm) and got voice mail. Left message stating I had just moved here, have a broken tooth I need to get fixed along with making them my new dentist. Never got a call back! Great first impression. NOT! Businesses only get one shot at making a great first impression and they failed miserably! I wasnt calling to schedule a cleaning or a normal check up... Poor customer service! The sad part is the Dr.s my be great but, nobody will get to know. Incompetent and or uncaring front desk staff is the death to a business. If the back end of the business is ran like the front this is an indication to find another dentist. I dont think they read their reviews so this will most likely fall on deaf ears and not be responded to. Guess I will take my business elsewhere and suggest you do as well.

My husband and I have been coming here for 4+ years and love the staff. Always prompt, friendly, courteous and the front office really worked with our insurance to get the most coverage for crowns etc! Have recommended this place to all our friends!

My kids, ages 7-15, & I all had our initial appointments this week. Every employee that we encountered was very kind. I have one child that was very nervous but they took great care of him- he actually asked if he could go back in 5 months, instead of 6. I was very impressed with the staffs knowledge, kindness, and professionalism. Im so thankful for the exceptional service we received.

I am very fortunate to have found this place in Lafayette. I have not had dental work done for about 8 years so needless to say I had some stuff that needed taken care of. Dr Cope and his staff are truly great people. They are down to earth and very patient and helpful. I have been several times since discovering this place for root canals, and fillings and each experience has been fantastic. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great dentists office in the Lafayette area.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Copes for several years now, we are always treated professionally by the entire staff. They are respectful of our time and explain things in a manner that anyone can understand. I have had dental emergencies that have arisen that they were more than willing to work me in without an appointment. I would recommend them to anyone.

My first dental procedure ever was a root canal (eek!) at 30 weeks pregnant. Dr. Cope and his lovely assistants made it simple and comfortable. The best part? I didnt feel a thing! Im so glad to call them my family dental practice, especially with a little one on the way.

I would give zero stars. the nurse was super rude. I was nervous and she was annoyed by it. They are way overpriced. I get 2 free cleanings a year with my insurance but they tried sneaking in a fluoride treatment for whitening when 1. they did not ask and 2. I did not want. So when she told me the price of my cleaning I knew something was wrong. Also, the crown they put over the tooth I had the root canal on is too big and uneven so it often causes tooth aches. Then, after being told everything is covered by insurance I was hit with a $547 bill on my credit after never receiving a phone call, text, email, or letter in the mail about having a balance with them. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. This place is money hungry.

I am not a big fan of going to the dentist. I was very reluctant to even go in but I made the call and an appointment. It was the best decision i could have made. The staff was exceptional. The staff made the atmosphere feel like a home/Family.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cope and hygentist Sarah for over 8 years and continued as a patient even after moving 70 miles away from their office. I have always received great patient care and greeted by name when I arrive. I have never had a complaint or issue, highly recommended.

I love this dental practice. After getting burned at Farbee Dental Dr. Cope treated me with respect and kindness. They fixed the other establishments mistakes and I have never looked back. My whole family used this practice now! They are even great to my three year old.

I came in with my 21 month old on April 24th for a routine cleaning for myself. I had no option for a sitter and had to bring him with me. Everyone in the office was fantastic with him! I’ve been coming here since 2010, shortly after they opened to find a dentist after I moved here. Hands down the best dentist and dental hygienists ive had. Work is impeccable, from fillings to crowns to actually discovering I have sleep apnea after Dr. Cope suggesting I get tested after small chit chat. I’d been suffering from insomnia for years and nothing helped. Whenever I go I feel like I’m at home there. I’d highly recommend them.

I use them for all my dental needs. Recently, I had a tooth crack. They got me in the same day to pull it. This was especially important because it was a Friday and I would have had to deal with it over the weekend. Dr. Bodine was gentle and took her time to make sure I was in as little pain as possible.The fillings on my front teeth are amazing. I had them done before at another dentist and was never pleased with how they felt. These feel perfect. Danielle, the dental assistant, pays a lot of attention to the details in getting the fillings just right.Everyone in the office has always been helpful and friendly and I think Dr. Bodine is never in a bad mood. She is always smiling and singing along with the music.

Our family has a good dentist in town but the he is not in our network for insurance. So I decided to try Highland Creek Family Dental after reading several review on-line.I just had the worst dental experience here. I took my 20 month old daughter there for her first dental appointment. First, the office told us that they would not bill out and we had to pay right away after finding out that she was not insured. Well, I admit that it was our fault that we did not make sure she was covered under our insurance before we visited. But I agreed to pay. They dont have to treat us like a scam cause I know they do bill out.During the treatment, the doctor got frustrated when she told my daughter to open her month and she did not, promptly. I told her that she is only 20 months and cannot speak yet. After finding out there was nothing wrong with my daughters teeth, she started to tell me that we should not feed my daughter sweets and juice. Well, inevitably, babies do eat sweets SOMETIMES but we never gave her juice anyway. After that, she looked like that she was so busy that she could barely put up with spending 3 minutes with us to answer any questions and concerns.When we checked out, I asked the front desk lady whether I could make an appointment for myself later. And she looked at me like why bother, are you sure you want to come back?.oh, mine. we wont come back again for sure.

I was very nervous and the staff made me feel so relaxed, from the front office to the back office. Dr. Bodine talked me through the whole experience and even sang to me. Her assistants are so kind and helpful. I would recommend them highly.

My family and I have been going to Highland Creek for 8 years. Always a friendly atmosphere. Detailed explanation before any work or cleaning is done.

I was at Highland Creek dental today for a check-up/preventive care visit. The dental hygienist was exceptionally kind and thorough with her work. I do not recall ever having been given such attentive care at a dentists office before, and I feel confident that this was not due to her incompetence!! As for the dentist, we only spoke for three or four minutes; he provided some general counsel regarding a couple of issues I have been having in my mouth, but that was it. I even joked with him and the hygienist that she should be receiving the lions share of the pay, not him, due to the disparity in time spent with me, the patient. As for the other complaints about billing and more advanced dental work that I have read on here, I cannot speak to those. Time will tell re: the billing, and I certainly would like to avoid having to receive any more advanced work. As for what I experienced today, I had a very positive and worthwhile experience at this dentists office.

Every time I come here they are very professional. The staff goes out of their way to make everyone comfortable. If you have a problem with pain, they fit you in instantly and take care of the problem. Glad I walked in their front door!!

When they first opened and needed patients they were friendly. When I went in for an emergency and severe pain they were less than helpful. They wouldnt even take 15 min to evaluate a broken tooth and I was forced to get meds at ER, they are not a good solution for a dental crisis.
