The staff are fantastic, and Dr. Boudreaux is kind and efficient. Best experience to date for an eye exam for me and my family.

I really like seeing the doctor here. He is very attentive and gives you all information on what his findings are - very thorough. There’s a very nice lady - tall, brunette with glasses - who is very kind and always smiling who helps with sizing your glasses. I didn’t catch her name. But the staff overall are very pleasant.

My visit on 06/26/19 was my first. I had a pleasant experience. The staff was nice and friendly. The doctor was very personable. I had to have some additional testing done along with my annual eye exam and I was pleasantly surprised how thorough and quick my exam was completed. I will definitely be back!

Dr. Boudreaux is one of the very best eye doctors Ive been to and Ive been in glasses/contacts for 40+ years. He is the most through of anyone Ive seen. The optical people are extremely helpful and will work to get you the best price. Especially as we age a cheap eye doctor is not always the best route to go. I sent my boss here and he returned to tell me it was the best eye exam hes ever received.

Pleasant staff, just some issues with getting my two pairs of glasses in. It’s been 3 weeks and I had to call them for updates on my glasses. First time I called, they said they would call me back and never did so a few days later, I called again. They still were unsure of where my glasses were and said they’d call me again later that day. Yet again, no call. I waited a few more days to call and finally they told me that my glasses were never even sent off but they would be in within 5 business days. Today has been a week since then and when I called, they said one pair would be in next week and again were unsure of my other pair. For the price I paid, I would expect better service. I probably won’t go again.Update: went to pick up my glasses a week after they said they would be in, and yet they still have yet to come in. They didn’t even call to tell me they were delayed.

We always enter and exit feeling welcomed. They are very patient with my kids. They are joyful and fun. They are thorough and knowledgeable.

Everyone is super helpful and friendly! Maison Optique took AMAZING care of me! They helped me order contacts and glasses, and gave me an amazing deal for a year supply of contacts! Maison Optique is one of the best eye care centers I have ever been to. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone!

I had been going to Maison since I moved to Lafayette from out of state 5 years ago. They were always very pleasant and easy to work with. Until this last year that is. I was calling to make my annual eye exam appointment. Called about 40 minutes before their closing time to simply schedule. Once I spoke to the receptionist, I was asked to confirm my insurance that is given to me through my husbands place of employment. I verify all the info is the same, and she proceeded to say that he was not showing to be insured anymore. I let her speak to my husband and she asks for his social. (We have VSP, all they need is the last four of his social and not the the full number) regardless my husband gives her his full social. She again continues to say that he is not showing to be covered by that insurance anymore. (Our VSP has always been the same with no changes for 5 years, so we were very confused.) He was going to ask her if maybe she input an incorrect number, and she instead pretends like she cant hear us SCREAMING HELLO, HELLO, HELLO? My husband was so frustrated by this time, and then she just hangs up on us?! I went on to search and found a completely new eye doctor within hours of this incident with Maison. They searched for our insurance once with his last four and they had 0 issues finding our coverage on the first try. Apparently these receptionists just cannot be bothered if you call them even an hour to 40 minutes from them closing because that is just a huge inconvenience for them and makes them act extremely unprofessional and ugly. Needless to say they definitely lost my years of business because of the receptionists unprofessionalism and how horribly she handled the issue she was having with us.

Maison Optique is one of the best vision centers Ive been to. Over the course of my glasses, Ive worked with several different vision centers. Nobody has compared to the level of professionalism, sincerity, and knowledge that Maison Optique provides. Dr. Jeffrey is one of the best there and seems to know absolutely everything you can think of asking about the eye. Keep up the good work!

I love this place. Dr. Guidry is great, she always explains everything in great detail which is great for my need to know everything. The staff is really helpful and takes their time to make sure you have everything you need. I cant remember the last time someone actually helped me pick out frames and knew what I needed with my sensitive temples.

I have been seeing Dr. Boudreaux for several years and have always been happy. I have recommended them to everyone. Everyone is so friendly and make sure that I am always taken care of.

I had my appointment today. Dr. Boudreaux was absolutely amazing. He took the time to educate me about everything. I am incredibly appreciative. I didnt feel rushed. The other staff members were great too. I had a great experience!

Hands down the best eye center Ive ever been to. Dr. Boudreaux is probably the most knowledgeable doctors Ive come across and is more than happy to teach you anything you want to know about your eyes. The staff is also very nice and helpful. Highly recommended.

I have been seeing Dr. Boudreaux for about 10 years. He is a very thorough optometrist and a very kind person. He does his best to make sure my glasses and contacts are the perfect prescription and fit for my eyes, and monitors my eye health. I highly recommend.

Great service! They even helped me pick out my glasses and told me what fit my face and what didnt. I cant make a decision to save my life, so this was very helpful!

The staff here are so helpful and friendly. I didnt feel like just another number passing through but that they genuinely wanted to help. Everything was very clean and modern.

I took my mom there yesterday for her appt. It was her first time and she is in her late 50s, the doctor and staff was pleasant but the way they conduct business is messed up. Please tell me why a woman, my mom, just got her eyes dilated they had us sent in the front, no shades, she and I asked, the lady we first met was all about prices, prices, prices and the doctor wasnt done with her yet. they should have placed her in a dark lit room while waiting for the doctor again. They put us in the front lobby, very lit by the way, after her eyes were dilated without shades and having her to choose eyeglasses, I could see this was overwhelming her. Seeing that we were not ready to commit they kept us in that front lobby for a good while, this made her nervous cause she had never done this so I handed her my shades. It took the front receptionist to question it then they placed us in a dark lit room while waiting. Should have known something wasnt right when we first arrived a lady with dark hair and glasses(assumed the eye doctor) approach her about her benefits and pricing on glasses, Im thinking like lady she hasnt seen the doctor yet she doesnt know, I was getting pissed because all of sudden she thought she had to have medical insurance and all when the visit was my damn treat to her so she was covered nonetheless under the insurance I have. Im like we just got here. Look Ive experienced better quality service at the eye doctor, I moved to BR so the original place I go when i lived in Lafayette was booked and I wanted to take care of my moms eyes before school for me next month. I saw this had 5 star so I went here. Never again, thanks for the could-have-been better experience. Smh.

Extremely professional and very caring staff. Words cannot describe the Maison Optique experience. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable- even after my three year old poured their play blocks over every square inch of their facility. This place is great. Go there and ask for Shayla to help you pick out some frames. She’s legit and knows her stuff. If you leave there disappointed, then you are simply just mad at the world and do not deserve to even cross paths with the good people at Maison Optique. ;)
