My mother-in-law has been there for 8 months. She receives personalized attention and loving care from the staff. It is a small family owned & operated memory care facility. Were very fortunate to have it in our community. Im a Nurse Practitioner who has been taking care of patients for over twenty years. Trust me. I know. Youre fortunate if your loved one is lucky enough to wind up here. They do a great job. Thanks Landmark for all of your loving care.

This is a follow up review to the one I did about a year after my mother, Earline, moved into Landmark. You can read about my many positive experiences on that review, which continued consistantly throughout her time there. In November 2019, mom passed away peacefully and I wanted to share a bit about that phase of her care at Landmark.During such a trying time, it was extremely helpful and comforting to me to have the frequent check ins with the staff, particularly with Deborah, about the timing of starting hospice. She helped me move through so many difficult decisions and supported me so compassionately. The care integrated seamlessly between the Landmark and Suncrest Hospice teams, and my mom and I were extremely comforted by the staff from both providers. I will always remember with great gratitude everyone who gave us such excellent care.

Unbelievable that I was able to find this place! As a caregiver for a parent and an RN, I can honestly say, there is no better place to place a family member. The Hanson family took great care in deciding to develop this business and providing a caring and nurturing environment for my mother. I never once felt like I was putting her somewhere that was substandard. Assisted Living’s are not mandated by the state to have an RN on premises like a traditional nursing home but these guys not only have one, but two very capable and caring nurses available at all times. I have never had a question or issue that wasn’t addressed immediately, but also with love and care. They have become and are our family. They love my mother like their own and for that, I am forever grateful. Do not hesitate to check this place out. They have personal vested interest in people living with dementia as it is close to home for them. I don’t know if any assisted living in existence near or far that has the same mission and outcome as this place. My mother actually improved after moving there. They are simply the best!

My mother in law, who suffered from Alzheimers Disease lived at Landmark Memory Care for the last 11 months of her life. The Hanson Family became our family and treated my mother in law as one of their own. She received wonderful care and lived in a loving and nurturing environment. I cant thank The Hanson Family enough for all they did to help my family!

I have been most impressed by the attention and caring attitude I have observed over an extended period by the staff at Landmark Memory Care in Lafayette, CO. I have personal experience with loved ones at four other quality care centers and I can attest that the care my loved one receives here is far and above the norm. Landmark was built with only the quality of life of the residents in mind. Deborah and Peter thought of every detail, down to the color of the plates and walls to help their residents feel more comfortable and enjoy their home. Landmark shows as a labor of love. Truly a family owned community. Love Landmark!

I took the tour, before the grand opening, and was so impressed with Deborahs passion for providing a safe, comfortable environment for our family members. I especially love the red toilet seats! That was something I had never heard of before, but Deborah has done her research and made sure this home is helpful to people who are experiencing memory loss - from the color of the dining room walls (to stimulate appetite) to the color of the bathroom doors... truly amazing.

When I first interviewed at Landmark I thought it was too good to be true but after working there now for a good month, as someone with years of experience in memory care I would say no doubt they live up to the hype, not only with staff but resident care. Most facilities have a wake up and bed time set, completely disregarding the residents own sleeping pattern as well as eating patterns. Unfortunately I have left since the owners have hired a new nursing manager, what a shame. She wanted me to wake up EVERY resident by the time I left at 8am and would only staff nights with two people. How could I safely start waking people up at 6am to have everyone up by 8am and still be able to watch the floor? The simple answer is you cant. Its really such a shame as the facility is beautiful and the owners truly have thier hearts in it as well.

Ive consistently had a great experience with having my mother at Landmark, receiving their compassionate care. She was the first resident to move into this beautiful facility just over a year ago. She has done far better here than in any other facility shes ever lived in the past. No more endless trips to the ER because of falls and the multiple things that can go wrong when staff are not as attentive as they are at Landmark. I attribute this quality of care to it being a family run center, by one of the most loving, heart centered families youd ever hope to meet. I trust them completely when Im not able to be with my mother. The peace of mind has been a God send during this long journey. The many extra touches they provide, like sending me pictures by text of mom doing activities and interacting with other residents is always so much appreciated!

My mother has been a resident for about 3 months. She has been loved and well cared for in her new home. Landmark has a calm, loving, homey atmosphere. The staff is competent and caring. I appreciate the personal care my mom and we receive. Thank you Deborah, Peter and Keleigh!

My friend Jack Rhinehart has been a resident at Landmark Memory Care Center for four months now.I am very grateful for the wonderful care he receives from all the staff members. They are wonderful caring people.I never have to worry about how they handle any situation that may arise with Jack.From the owners Debra and Peter to all the other employees that give wonderful and attentive care to the residents I applaud their devotion.I highly recommend to anyone Landmark Memory Care for the care of your family member.

Landmark is just what we were looking for in the care of our loved one! Our loved one is much improved and we can tell that he is being loved and cared for. We really appreciate all of the individuals at Landmark, our new extended family. While it is a beautiful facility, the people there are what makes it great!

I was reacently here to make repairs to an ice maker at this facility. While working I observed the staff interacting with the residents. The patients the staff has is incredible. They treat each resident like they were their own mother or father. Great job guys!

This place is locally and family owned, and the family who owns it is so sweet! They let us come take a tour even though they are still under construction and spent over an hour answering our questions! We met both the owners and their children who will be working here. They have years of Alzheimers/Dementia experience and the facility already feels Alzheimers friendly. The best part for me, however, was the courtyard and their plans to expand it. As Ive looked for a home for my Grandfather, I have been looking for safe outdoor space for him as he loves to be outside and I was amazed by the outdoor space that they have planned for this facility, it was exactly what I was looking for!

This place its absolutely phenomenal they Love with everything they have!!

Do not be fooled by the deception of Landmark Memory Care, Lafayette, Colorado. Loved one was there only four weeks before family pulled them out due to the pathetic care and chaotic environment imposed by Landmark; all at the cost of $11,000. So sad.

From a former employee the facility is beautiful for sure but,the owners play favoritism among their staff while some are allowed to come in late every shift or be on their phones while still on the clock without getting written up or terminated. There is lack of communication among their staff unless your a Qmap,CNA or a MA the atmosphere is chaotic, tense and the behavior towards their residents families is horrible. For them being a religious family they dont believe in forgiveness. And especially two weeks before, Christmas as well. I would not recommend this place to anyone for employment and it saddens me that the residents there are being left with staff who are only there for a pay check while others are there because they enjoy it. And Colorado labor laws are being broken could get them into big trouble or shut down.

Poor management, chaotic environment, and general disorganization. Not worth the price tag. There are much better facilities nearby for less than Landmark. Employees were treated poorly. Owners in over their heads.

The new memory care facility is fantastic. The Facilty is family owned and operated. Debra and her staff are very knowledgeble with helping families understand the process and features of the brand new facility. When you walk into the front door you know this is the most compasionate, loving and committed home for your loved one.

The Hanson family is so committed to caring, honestly, integrity, and transparency.....to name a few!!
